Comparing the record run of the Trophy-R with this, the Trophy-R carries pretty much and nearly exactly the same speed through most of the corners. Some even a few km/h faster.... give the Trophy-R 528 hp and Cup2 tyres and it will post a 7:00 minute time.
I'd like to see if Sabine can do better with this car in her hands. If i were going to trust anyone to post the best possible lap time in any car, it would be her.
It depends where the timer begins and ends, some times end at the bridge at the end of the straight while others end at the corner that bypasses the gp circuit
Listen to that straight cut sequencial gearbox... It makes zero sense comparing this thing to a Honda type r or any other production car, even a Ferrari. If you go get a WTCC car, modify it backward till road legal then do a lap, it will break whatever nonsense record you have over here.
production car my foot also with 500+hp to the front tires they probably wont even last one full lap the FK8 with 300hp already loves eating tires, i suppose this will be a lot worse at this point, why not make it AWD? I get that TCR limits cars to FWD, but pushing 500hp on the street in a FWD isnt gonne be very fun
@@DevasionX 300hp is FAR FROM the edge of handling. People run 400-450hp FWD hot hatches on Nurburgring and have zero understeer, spin or torque steer. This isn't 1985 anymore. Properly set up and developed (which this isn't) FWD cars are still the best handling cars of any type. No other type of car produces the same amount of grip and outright pace on a race track relative to the amount of power it has as FWD hot hatches do. That's why you see regularly see hot hatches with far lower power/weight ratio's be faster than RWD and AWD cars on track.
