I'm actually surprised. Rose really showcased her vocals here, and she sounded more authentic in this kind of genre. It's a different side of her. She really grows into an artist who is finding her style and what kind of musician she wants to be. This vibe is really cool.

Well, she signed on his label at the end of September. Gave him her demo at the beginning of October. Cut it and released it in the middle of October and here they are in the middle of November. It’s not like he was all that involved with it to begin with. He directed the video and he added his verse and his background vocals.
Might I add, this is perhaps the most successful K-pop collaboration we may not see again until few decade later. Also glad they recorded this in the states. It goes well with vibe; the musicians, singers, audience, and intimate setting impacts the song.

As someone who is Bruno Mars fan for so many years he is my favorite artist, i never ever expect that he will be on mnet account. I'm so proud of Rose even though i don't follow BP music that much but she is always took all my attention. This collab is going in the history for the best collab ever made.
It's a great collab for sure and it looks like Rose has a chance to explode as a global superstar - and Bruno can do no wrong. I will say, however, I still think his collab with Anderson Paak on Silk Sonic might be the best of all time.

AR + 보컬이면 보컬 톤 잡고 모니터만 신경쓰면 되지만, 밴드 라이브는 시간이 몇 배는 더 필요해요. 리허설 시간을 많이 잡아먹을 텐데, 오직 한 밴드만을 위해 그렇개 하기 쉽지 않습니다.
브루노마스 무대할때 꼭 라이브밴드 데리고 하는데 마마는 항상 밴드세팅 불가능이라 생방무대했다면 핸드싱크해야됐을 상황이었을거라.. 브루노마스 입장에선 사녹으로 좋은 음향 환경에서 라이브밴드 무대를 하고싶었을 것 같아요 마마에 나와주고 고퀄리티 사녹영상도 찍어준 것만으로도 너무 고마움🥹❤️🔥 욕심 내자면 다음에 콘서트같은데서 한번 같이 무대해줬으면!!

마마처럼 초대형 무대는 아니지만 라이브가 그냥 펍같은 분위기라 더 독특하고 여운이 남네요. 사실 아파트 영상도 최소한의 설비로 음색 하나로 승부보는 분위기가 너무 좋았거든요. 역시 가수는 노래잘하면 모든게 일사천리란걸 보여주고 있네요. 라이브 신나게 함께해준 브루노한테 한없이 고맙고 로제에겐 무한사랑 보내요^^

I love that Rosé focused on simplicity in this comeback. It must’ve been a big pressure being a BP member -what will happen after leaving YG, will she also put up her own company, what’s her next projects, new brands? Yet, we were welcomed with a simple MV set with single MV outfit/look different from the usual image of BP. APT focused on Rosé and Bruno’s chemistry and song quality. And now, she gave us a MAMA performance without the extravagant set, costume or arrangement. Even her hair and makeup is simple. I believe it’s her way of breaking the high expectations anticipated from every BP member and because of this, it sets her apart and it became her advantage. Remembering her past song “On the Ground”, she’s really into reminding herself to be grounded and I love her for that. ❤️

As someone who is Bruno Mars fan for so many years he is my favorite artist, i never ever expect that he will be on mnet account. I'm so proud of Rose even though i don't follow BP music that much but she is always took all my attention. This collab is going in the history for the best collab ever made.
It's a great collab for sure and it looks like Rose has a chance to explode as a global superstar - and Bruno can do no wrong. I will say, however, I still think his collab with Anderson Paak on Silk Sonic might be the best of all time.

밴드가 여럿 출연 한다면 그런 것도 나쁘지 않습니다만, 그게 아니라면 무대 그림이 별로 안 좋죠. 제약도 많고요.
그게 아니라면 회전무대를 만들어야 합니다. 돈이 많이 들겠죠. 무대미술 스텝들 곡 소리가 여기까지 들리네요.ㅎ
그 외에 시간적 제약도 큽니다.
AR + 보컬이면 보컬 톤 잡고 모니터만 신경쓰면 되지만, 밴드 라이브는 시간이 몇 배는 더 필요해요. 리허설 시간을 많이 잡아먹을 텐데, 오직 한 밴드만을 위해 그렇개 하기 쉽지 않습니다.

The special thing about this performance and the song itself is that it's not just a collaboration between two artists. You can clearly see that Rosé and Bruno became friends and are enjoying themselves on stage while having fun. And this makes the song even better because you can feel this happy vibe!

마마처럼 초대형 무대는 아니지만 라이브가 그냥 펍같은 분위기라 더 독특하고 여운이 남네요. 사실 아파트 영상도 최소한의 설비로 음색 하나로 승부보는 분위기가 너무 좋았거든요. 역시 가수는 노래잘하면 모든게 일사천리란걸 보여주고 있네요. 라이브 신나게 함께해준 브루노한테 한없이 고맙고 로제에겐 무한사랑 보내요^^

I love that Rosé focused on simplicity in this comeback. It must’ve been a big pressure being a BP member -what will happen after leaving YG, will she also put up her own company, what’s her next projects, new brands? Yet, we were welcomed with a simple MV set with single MV outfit/look different from the usual image of BP. APT focused on Rosé and Bruno’s chemistry and song quality.
And now, she gave us a MAMA performance without the extravagant set, costume or arrangement. Even her hair and makeup is simple. I believe it’s her way of breaking the high expectations anticipated from every BP member and because of this, it sets her apart and it became her advantage. Remembering her past song “On the Ground”, she’s really into reminding herself to be grounded and I love her for that. ❤️
