yes, you can pointlessly pick up objects off of tables, talk to many NPCs around the world where dialog is delivered in a flat and boring way as the characters just stare blankly at you displaying no body language at all, and fight in a shitty combat system and cast over a hundred spells that all use the same exact animation. truly this is the peak of gaming

And audio usually has nothing to do with framerate, as audio and video are computed on separate processors (CPU and GPU). There's a bit of body horror during Tandilwe's second pass where the frantic eye movements make it look like the character is suddenly aware she's being puppeted and voiced by some otherworldly being.

You realise that you are in a dream and lose all faith from the existencial crisis, this will erase you from existence as if you were never there at all 2. You realise that you are in dream, but instead of succumbing to the existencial crisis, you have enough ego/self love to go on. This will make you a lucid dreamer within that dream, allowing you to reshape reality among other things. Practically becoming a god
You have to type in the text for the software to search for the sounds in the audio file. They, for obvious reasons, typed the line only the one time, so the software found all the sounds and when the file has an entire second half, it doesn't have any sounds to look for in that half and just quits.

All they see is the blips/waveforms or the colorful spectrogram and they cut it where it visually seemed like the end. They didn't listen to the whole sound because maybe they had too much to do. And none of the playtesters are patient enough to sit through the long quote so it didn't get caught then either :)
This happens with a lot of npc's that talk for a long time. When doing the thieves guild quest line, I found that when you talk to the homeless, and when they talk for an extended amount of time, their lip sync will just completely give up toward the end. It's actually pretty funny though.

Reason probably being the fact that in this world of "flawless" expectancies, these little treasures mean alot as it's who we really are, unique. and these moments really shine through & leave a larger impact on you because it's unexpected and so natural, refreshing almost
When a game is good, this type of mistakes make it charming more than anything. See FFVII, that localization is iconic and gives the game more charm that it would have otherwise.

Her voice was really run ragged at the tail end of that day-long recording session I presume. Voice actors put a serious toll on there voices and have to be careful or they could lose part of their voice range permanently. I have a lot of respect for them.
Enclave soldier is actually right about this. Simply changing accent slightly is no more stressful to your voice than talking. That's one of the reasons people like Nolan north and troy baker can be in every game and show ever made without needing to rest. This is from experience and knowing quite a few voice actors.

Doing multiple takes is normal for voice actors, just like regular actors. Hiring more actors would not fix this. What this shows is that they should have hired more editors.

It's actually one line from a scripted auto-dialogue in Shadow's story. G.U.N. informs Shadow to head over to Wave Ocean, but the VA flubbed the name, repeats it to himself when he realizes it, and then redoes the dialogue. And they kept the entire take in instead of cropping out the botch.
You know, I've seen many spelling and grammatical errors in the subtitles for the Elder Scrolls games. But, this is just taking it to a whole other level. X-D

In my opinion, this sort of unedited rawness in video games is good sometimes. Just shows that they sometimes work tirelessly to perfect the craft. It's funny and a bit cringey, but gives insight as to what they're doing in the studio. It's all for the game, and I respect that.

As much as I enjoy Patrick Stewart's voice, they probably shouldn't have blown the entire voiceover budget on the first ten minutes of the game.
