Burn Calories HIIT Workout | Get Shredded 2-Week Challenge (Day 1)

  • Here comes Day 1 of our first challenge of 2021!
    For the first day of the Get Shredded 2-Week Challenge, we're doing everyone's favorite: HIIT.
    If you're not familiar with the way you'll burn calories from HIIT workouts, please read this:
    The number of calories you'll burn from this 15-minute workout will vary from person to person based on a number of factors (like age, gender, physical shape, effort, etc.). The cool thing about interval training is that you'll trigger a higher EPOC effect, which means that you'll basically tell your body to continue to burn calories during the breaks and for up to 24 hours after you complete the workout. Basically, you'll burn way more calories than you probably even realize. Nice!
    I strongly recommend warming up and cooling down before and after every workout.

    I genuinely thought “what could a 15 min hiit do to me?” before I started doing this workout. I started doing modified versions on minute 6. Great video, Rachel!

    I am starting this today. I absolutely love how her workouts aren't impossible and they make you sweat. Also, I wish she would say how many calories you are estimating losing on this workout. She has said it in previous videos which gives me an estimate how many calories I should eat in a day. This works for me when I'm trying to shed some pounds (: still love it though!

    Wowwww I’m dripping sweat. It was such a slow burn but the variations of simple exercises kept me on my toes. Threw on a resistance band for some moves and whewwww. Thanks girl 🥳❤️

    Boi these work outs are just so perfect and beautiful. I can literally do them anywhere. I just did this 15 minute workout and I'm completely out of breath.great work. I can feel my endorphins floating around my body lol, feels good to get back on track in a quick but gradual way

    Day 1 completed 🎉. I took the December to regenerate and didn’t work out, so my highest heart rate was 180 (avg was 161) and I really felt it. But hey, I am commited to go back to my healthy habits. I love that this challenge isn’t an every day one, because after the holidays I can’t imagine how I would manage to work out every day 🥲.

    love the way the music stops for each stretch break! They are usually a bit long though, I tend to skip ahead 10-15 seconds of the breaks, but great workout! thanks Rachel!

    I started like "easy peasy lemon squeezy" and then I almost died. I burned 126 active calories according to my apple watch. I'm 1.65m and 65kg. My bpm were 118-180.
