30-MIN NO-REPEAT HIIT Workout w/ Warmup + Cool Down (Burn LOADS of Calories!)

  • I asked what workouts you'd like me to post next, and overwhelmingly, so many people said HIIT. So here yuh go!
    A few things about HIIT:
    1. Like anything related to your body, you should only do HIIT in moderation.
    2. You shouldn't do more than 20 minutes of HIIT at a time (if you're actually working at your max effort).
    3. True HIIT is 1:1 or 2:1 exercises to rests. (eg: 30 seconds of work, followed by 30 or 15 seconds of rest).
    4. You should work to get your heart rate back down as much as possible during the breaks. You can do this by taking deep breaths.
    5. By working at your max effort and then getting your heart rate to lower during the rests, you activate something called EPOC that can make your body continue burning calories from this workout for up to 24 hours after you finish it.
    A few things about today's workout:
    1. It has a warm-up and cool down built right into it.
    2. There's only 20 minutes of actual HIIT (for the reason stated above).
    3. It includes modifications for anyone who doesn't want to jump.
    4. You can do this at your own pace. Work faster or slower than me if you need to. Take longer breaks if you want!
    5. My legs are still sore from this one. 10/10 recommend doing a foam rolling routine before and after this workout.

    i like that your workouts get me sweating, and they are doable, I get frustrated with workout videos on youtube that are complicated because I feel like I am doing a dance routine instead of a workout 😂 bottom line is thank you for a good and easy to follow routine.

    I love this one. I never take time to stretch because I workout when my baby naps and his naps are TINY! But this one forced me to take care of my muscles! Love the ab workout snuck in there and there were several moves I've never done before which makes it so much more interesting. Great job!

    Wonderful low impact workout. I really enjoyed it. At least it gave me a break from the high-impact workouts I'm used to doing from other youtube instructors. The warm-up and cool-down stretches are quite enjoyable. Let's not forget the music selection is 😉😉😉, the music is so relaxing, and the wonderful scenery of mother nature gives a plus to the workout.

    Love your workouts but i was wondering, i tend to gravitate towards the longer and "harder" ones like your "burn 600, 500, 300 calories" workouts. I tried a few other hiits from your channel but it's not hard enough for me anymore. Should I maybe add ankle weights or something to make it harder?

      my apple watch recorded 180 active calories and 217 total cals! this'll differ based on how hard you work, physical "fitness", and body comp! hope that helps :))

    For anyone who needs it: I’ve burned 140 kcal (did only 2-3 exercises with modifications), and I am 177, weight idk but about 66, age 19. It gets better after 20 min have passed!!!

    way too long cool down and the music is always slow and the same in every video
