I was working on a paving job at a school bus shop a few years ag and they had to scrap a bus. They had to record the sheer, on an excavator, at the scrap yard breaking up the motor and sending the video to the EPA. The bus was not too much of a loss it was rusted out from our salt roads but it had a cummins in it, i think it was a 12v. I love how saving the environment requires the destruction of capital of which the production of such capital used many resources and caused much pollution. I really don't think any of the environmental laws have anything to do with saving or protecting the environment, nor do I think they were ever intended to do such

I just don’t see how it is ok to take away our right to use our equipment that at time of purchase it met the emission standards that they set. The diesel engine should have been required to have a catalyst back when they enforced it in the gas engine. Instead they let 4 decades to go bye. They failed on doing their job. I don’t think it’s right to go retro. Pass your regulation and moving forward. You can’t go retro on something you said was ok. This is wrong!!

I find it very hard to accept all this effort to enforce a emission regulation. And at the same time nothing is being done or said about the food we eat every day. Wouldn’t that be calling the kettle black. Have you guys looked up how many of our foods are banned in other countries because of the cancer causing ingredients they contain? The list goes on and on. If we are really that concerned of our well being wouldn’t we start with what we eat every day?
This is just about all the money their is to be made. Both, government and manufacturers. Hell before a engine can last you forever. They sure did figure how to end that. It would not be effective for them to build a engine that would last forever. This isn’t what America was about but it definitely is the way of the future. How sad what this country has become. Let’s get it from the hard working people!!!

The Dodge dealership I got my ram 2500 from, had 3 on the lot that were trade in vehicles and they were deleted. The dealership was selling those trucks as is already deleted without the parts to put back on the trucks or the programmers to return them to stock. I am a mechanic by trade and asked them about the parts. The sales man said they didn't get the parts and if I wanted to return it to EPA standards it was on my dime not theirs. These were 2015 to 2017 trucks
Defeat devices like tuners were being removed by ebay in early 2021. They must have started that process in 2020. Identifying what is an emission defeat device and what isn't is a massively complicated project. The EPA can't provide a list of non compliant parts. How is a company with millions of parts listed by independent sellers suppose to identify what's compliant and what's an emissions defeat device. Tuners were an obvious one, which is why they started there. Tuners were restricted almost overnight.
amazon has no qualms about disallowing defeat devices on their platform. Nothing ever happened to me on ebay for the same defeat devices.

This is why you just put the old engines in your new trucks. I will never use anything by my old 12v and 24v engines. They came from the factory without EGR or anything in the exhaust except a muffler and resonator. Best of all it is 100% legal. :) I can't tell you how many new F-Series trucks are running around with the old 12v Cummins engines in them.
@@kdw75 yes i agree, the 12 and 24 valve are some of the best engines ever made and deserve their reputation. I believe diesels have gotten a bad rap in no small part to the obnoxious frat boys whose only goal is to make as much noise and smoke as possible and look like a giant asshole while doing it down main street. Obviously that behavior has contributed to people hsting diesels 🤷♂️

And secondly, Why is their no emissions devices on planes when most of the carbon production come from them and not us diesel owners, especially since their emissions are released at high altitudes ?

This whole clean air act BS is on the federal level. It has absolutely nothing to do with the individual states.
I'll help everyone out with a lesson from the Defense Dept and the US Congress. Get a company in Canada or Mexico to produce the bypass equipment, have it marketed by a non-bound country like Czech Republic to fulfill the sale and distribution of these items and import them in under the Czech holding. All of the US laws are manmade by corrupt individuals that create them with back doors for themselves. No laws will ever be created that allow for the erroding of our current wealthy population. There is always a way around the superficial ramifications.

@@1truthseeking8 this is how the govt circumnavigates their own regulations, as a formula. It's everything from weapons and defense, mining and manufacturing, and energy. All of the "developed" countries outsource their dirty work in the name of "sustainability". For specifics, u can find your own, look long enough and you'll see that the US Govt is the most frequent offender.

I would like to know if I can get in legal trouble for selling, giving away, or providing information on how to build your own defeat devices without providing anything except information?
The whole podcast is about people who are selling/making money in any way products/tuning for deleting emissions equipment.
The government knows they can't do anything against the individual because you have property rights they can't violate, which is why they're taking out as many of the shops, parts suppliers, vendors, etc that they can. Since they can't really make you comply with the laws, they just take away your ability to by closing up shops.
This is going to go the way of guns, if there is no way to buy firearms, then there is going to be ways to manufacture them on your own, ie, 3d printing. They can't really do anything about that since people just upload files and how to videos, it's a first amendment issue.
So, the future of tuning and deletes is going to be grassroots dudes learning how to tune and delete their own stuff and sharing the info online for free.
It's your duty as a citizen to violate unjust laws.

I’m curious if anyone has tested a vehicle that has been deleted and tuned to see if it may be burning cleaner then it was before being deleted.
guess this mean my cherry 2003 7.3 is like fricken gold now.. going be hard to part wither in the fall. :) it does have a tuner but does not smoke under power.. only smoke is a puff at startup..

Summer 2022 I was recording a video of my 2009 Ranger with the bed removed before I built a flatbed. In the video I added that I don’t and I have no plans to modify or remove the emissions system on the truck which included parts installed in the rear section of the frame. I said that in the video in case some wacko tree hugger with no mechanical knowledge thought of turning me in.
I have a 91.5 dodge with six in a row under the hood and die if a car dealership which I know would never do. This was the offer me a brand new one even up I told him give me the cash difference his new vehicles flat out suck.
How much pollutants do every ones bonfires and campfires put into the atmosphere? Man, when people are burning their trash with plastic and rubber it can be seen for miles. What about all the garbage trucks running around smoking so much that you can see them six blocks away?
How I see it. eBay acted like a bank, providing routine services . So that makes City bank , Bank of America etc the same . No different.
So are individuals who defeat their personal vehicles are now susceptible to felony criminal charges?

They kind of already are. They sent a large towing company owner for deleting all his trucks. Those trucks were deleted for reliability. No way he wants his trucks to go fast or make smoke, considering its all commercial towing and random employees using the trucks.
They are targeting users on Facebook market place. Remember the Jersey guy?
@@BentonL the lawyer in this video said if your a business owner with a fleet of deleted trucks you could be targeted as well. It’s also illegal to sell a deleted truck. As mentioned in the video. Both of those would fall under making money with the use of emissions deleting.
@@Haulin-iron_eatin-sammiches the Jersey guys truck would have sold for the same price whether he mentioned it was deleted or not. Most of us end users are not making money on our trucks. When we're done with them. I know if I was to sell my truck I have you losing at least 10 grand. Got about 50 wrapped into it and I'll be lucky if I was to get 30 but because it has aftermarket parts on it I guess that makes it illegal. My truck is smoke free but I'm sure it's not compliant. Towing operator did what he had to do because the emission systems make the trucks break and his business relied on his trucks working when they needed them and not being forced into region because they idle too much

I'm not defending eBay but all their algorithms do is suggest parts that other people have bought with the product you are looking at currently, it does this solely on other people have bought similar items together and not based on it is a certain product. They also state that you shall not sell anything that is illegal and they can't do anything if someone disregarded that warning, this I would say makes eBay not liable. Really people's constitutional rights allow them to sell or buy these without fear of retaliation by the government. It is also meaningless when the US government is deleting and tuning all their Duramax and other Diesel's by Gale Banks or having the auto manufacturing make these vehicles for the Military without these devices which is one of the largest emitters in the world. This says they are lying about what the problems are or if there is any problems at all because they add to the problem and shows if they have to remove them because of reliability they know they damage the vehicle and are probably just doing this to sell more trucks and parts. They always do things for the money and that greed will bury them when they are held accountable for their actions.

Just randomly came a crossed this site. Didn't watch the whole video, but seen some of the comments. Are people complaining about not having the right to remove or bypass emission components? On it's own, diesel engines produce a lot of harmful emissions. Modern emission devices had made a huge improvement. Why does one feel they have a right or need to defeat emission devices is beyond me. I know early DEF units had some issues, but didn't these all get ironed out?
Listen, we all have a right to buy a vehicle of our choice. I'm not against hot rodding out a gas vehicle. But diesels are a different beast and preform a lot more harmful pollutants. Most of the time, I see people just make their vehicles "roll coal". I think its one thing to do this for a vehicle at say a track to entertain thousands of people at a time with 1 vehicle doing it vs every yahoo with a diesel on the road wanting to blanket the area in black smoke, and this is what happens. Maybe diesels should be only used for special purpose reasons? Their really is no need to have diesel vehicles aside from specific purposes say your a trucker hauling tailors or a farm truck needing that extra power. But as a general daily driver? What is the need? We are in a phase right now where vehicles are transitioning to electric due to pollution and energy reasons. But we let anyone just buy diesel vehicles when they have no need for them but simply purchase them for masculinity insecurities. Listen, I have no problems with people driving diesels. The current ones came along way. But when you start tampering with the emissions I have a issue with that. Some people simple want to keep their head buried in the sand and ignore the damage pollution does or think well they are only one person. But when everyone is doing it, then its a huge problems. We all need to do our part. Maybe a higher tax on diesel fuels to combat the added damage it does to the environment?
