When the original Fold came out, I thought there was no way this style of device would be as usable as a normal smartphone. But with Samsung's continuous refinement throughout the years, even I am considering buying this latedt version of the Fold. Well done, Samsung.

I never really saw myself owning a folding smartphone any time soon but I decided to pull the trigger on the Z Flip 3 earlier this year, and it's easily one of the coolest and best functioning phones I've ever owned. So much so that I decided to get the watch to match. Nothing but respect for Samsung these days!

Really disappointing that Samsung ditched the rotating bezel on the Watch 5 It was one of their standout features and the main reason for a lot of people to buy the 'classic' version
But I've got hopes that it will return one day as new Watch 5 is a pro model while they still might do like Watch 5 Classic that will have specs of the regular Watch 5 but with rotating bezel minus upgrades that pro has
i have gw4 classic and trust me, the rotationg bezels are not just a feature but also a protecting for the screen, ive hit my watch at random places but the bezel protect the screen good
Fold 3 owner here. I can't ever go back to a Single screen it's too cool. I love my Fold. Plus it's so functional and durable. I've dropped it so many times and still looks great. 100 recommend
How's the durability been? I have the flip 3 and my screen protector cracked after 7 months and the battery life hasn't been great. Those are the only two negatives. Everything else is great. I'm considering getting the fold 5 once I've hit the two year cycle.
@@MumenRider78 Well, I've had the fold 3 since launch and I think I might be the unluckiest person in the world. So far I've broken the inner and outer screens. Now in fairness, when I broke the inner screen any screen would have broken if it had landed like that. I'm not sure what happened with the outer screen when it broke. Other than those 2 times I haven't had any issues.
@@AmokCanuck Unfortunately not, their warranty replacement only covers defects. When the inner screen broke I had to take it to ubreakifix it only took a couple of hours to repair (I had to pay the insurance deductible). With the outer screen I got a hold of Samsung care directly, I still had to pay the deductible, but they sent me an upgraded model (I had the 256 gb they sent a 512 gb) in the mail then I sent them in the broken one
Would love to see a full detailed review of the watches please. In addition to comparing the Pro to the standard version, it'd be awesome to have a comparison on the BT & LTE versions.
In theory, BT and LTE models are identical apart from cellular functionality... So what are you hoping to find out in particular? e.g. the difference in battery life between the two, or the convenience of having LTE etc.
@@OKayD3N It's actually kind of crazy how much better the Galaxy Watch is better than the Apple Watch. It's not even debatable or up for grabs like the debate between iPhones and Galaxy phones.
As a Samsung user, I've always missed your reviews of the brand's ecosystem products. I would very much like a complete analysis of the watches launched this year.
He reviewed everything apple released, headphones, earbuds, airtag, apple monitor, but nothing from android companies not the galaxy buds pro, not the pixel buds, smart tag, samsung monitor, nothing, he even reviewed ios 16 multiple times but not android software, call me crazy here but i don't think marques is the unbiased "tech" reviewer he once was
I remember buying the fold 2 when it first came out and having people be in shock when they see me open the phone or I always got stopped and asked what phone is that lol, samsung products have always brought peoples attention. I love it.
I love that they’re keeping the under display selfie camera. It’s a new and innovative technology so I don’t really expect it to be the absolute best right now, but hopefully it gets exponentially better!
While it is an interesting technology, I don't get why smartphone manufactures don't just use pop out cameras. You get the full front screen and it's probably much less of a pain to build.
I'm glad Samsung is taking its time to refine its products. They've really come a long way since the initial launch of the Fold which wasn't very good at that time and was seen as more of a prototype. Pretty nice to see them improving the quality of their products.
@@petertollner I think the Flip sells many more units than the Fold, you're not the only one in that position. I use Labs to resize apps to my liking, but not sure to what degree this affects their optimisation.

Had the z fold 3 for about 6 months now. Definitely my favorite phone, good for heavy phone users. I do find myself having ot charge it at the end of a 10 hour shift. Favorite thing about it is the processor. It's always super smooth. I can run ps1, ps2, and N64 emulators, with no issue.
Definitely would like an in-depth review of the watches. Especially the pro model as I'm looking for something with those added features for outdoor activities.

These brand new foldable phones and the software optimization for these devices is making me thinking of buying my first foldable device 👏🏽👏🏽 Congrats Samsung!!!

Samsung likes to have refresh years, where they change up a few things, update a few things, but keep the same body for the tech. This is one of those years. my fold 3 isn't going anywhere yet (until I can find the fold 5 for 999 like I did with my fold 3)
I'd definitely watch content for Wearable Tech! My first was a disappointing Fossil. But, my latest is a TicWatch Pro. What a difference! Way better battery life! An Android compatible watch (Wear OS) that lasts 2.5 days on a single charge with use (Even longer in Battery Extender mode)!
@@lupreztryson there is no professional athletics athlete using apple watch for training and tournament.. lmao. Apple Watch accuracy is crap compared to garmin watch
2.5 days is still unacceptable for a watch IMO. Garmin watch battery life is where it's at, I won't consider any android or apple watch until battery life meets or exceeds 1 week with normal use
@@zulfika_ Apple Watch does perform the the best in terms of accuracy among all other wearable (Garmin included) next in line would be the Huawei's high-end watches according to this one youtuber's scientific reviews which seem pretty legit, this is coming from a android guy. I have the Fold 3 since last year and I couldnt be happier. Very solid battery life, good camera, the tablet form factor is such a game changer i cant go back to normal phones the multi tasking is great. My wife has the Flip 3 (we bought both at the same time). She is very happy with it. Im glad that they made Fold 4 and Flip 4 too, the refinements and such. This is great news for me since i dont wish the Fold/Flip to stop being made. Regarding the creases folks dont worry you simply cant see it when you watch something on it. What surprised me how durable it is too. My s8+ shattered so quickly even with the official case. The fold 3 and flip 3 fell badly on the ground a few times and nothing happened to it. No cases on these two. For those on the fence with the Fold 3 or the new 4: just get it. You wont regret it.
I'd love more detailed reviews of the watches. Especially when it comes to the accuracy of the sensors and the data they record (something most reviewers never talk about).
@@annie_122 Watching his videos, I've come to the conclusion that all smartwatches suck (for health tracking) except for ones we can't get in the US or the Apple watch.
I've researched the fold more than any other phone ever and I still have a hard time upgrading to it despite desperately wanting one. The ultra phones are better because they have a built-in spen, bigger battery, 45w charging, and better cameras. If you can get past that the fold doesn't have a dust rating, I don't think its water protection claims hold up long term and the screen protectors start to peel around 8 months in on the last version. Still, the utility of both phones is amazing with the fold slightly beating the ultra in that department.
If it helps any, I purchased the Fold 3 as an upgrade to my Note 9. I was concerned with the smaller outer screen at first but I honestly use it a ton. Plus, I really like how easy it is to hold the whole thing in my hand and it makes texting with Swype so much easier to reach all the buttons. I don't have very small hands but they're certainly not as large as some people who are taller than me. And with my Note 9 I had to dock my keyboard to one side and minimize its size just so that I could reach all the buttons. I only use the inner screen for entertainment and when I need to use multiple screens to get stuff done. Additionally, I hybridized a case so that I can carry my Spen, have a kickstand and have a card slot for ID and MetroCard. And honestly, it's become the best thing ever. Especially when coupled with a Bluetooth folding keyboard. I also added a button remapper app that allows me to set short keys for some touch functions. Now I can easily go from typing on the front screen to typing and using short keys on the inner screen. Some days I honestly forget that I have a Tab S7+ and can use a bigger screen. I carry a small portable charger that I can pop in in the late afternoon, or early evening if needed. I still wish the front screen supported the Spen though. I think once it does then maybe Samsung will decide to add the spen into the phone. Still, I actually use the Samsung Notes app more now with the Fold 3 than I did with the Note 9 due to comfort and space. As wide as my Note 9 was, it still always felt a bit cramped and more so with a thin stylus. I've also accidentally dropped my Fold 3 in my shower once and it was thankfully just fine. I just had to wait to make sure the ports dried out in order to charge it again. It has been sprayed, dripped, touched with wet fingers, or rained on a bit and still manages to deal with the humidity of my hot showers. It's been fine so far. I'm not a big photography person for portraits, mostly stills of scenery or data, but photos have been okay with this phone. I don't like that the camera seems to only focus on the center of the images and leaves the edges slightly blurred when taking regular photos. I find it annoying when taking photos of documents or when I need the full frame in focus. I find that I still like my Note 9 camera better as everything in the shot is in focus. I haven't noticed if there's been an update to the camera since I first noticed it back in December 2021, I think I just decided not to care as much then. I hope this helps add to your research if you're still considering the Z Fold 4. Edit: I also purchased my phone as a bundle with the Watch Classic 46mm and Buds 2 in November 2021 for $1399. The deal was so good I jumped on it even if I already had a pair of buds (the new ones made great gift) and the watch was bigger than I wanted. But it looks great on my small wrist and the screen size is wonderful so I think I was pretty lucky that I didn't have a choice. It might be worth considering to wait for the price drops near Black Friday if you don't want to trade in a phone for a discount.
For me, I've been using an LG V60 with its dualscreen so I think I'm stuck to upgrading to a Fold whenever mine goes kaput to not feel any downgrade in usability. After you have this kind of freedom of screen real estate man, it's hard to go back.
I feel like Samsung is going with the Apple route for their foldables. Rather than adding a ton of new features, they just refine concepts and make the phone seem more reliable to ensure that consumers may want to switch.
For the moment, that approach makes sense. If they add huge changes instead of refining what's already there then they're shooting themselves in the foot.
Apple's reign on me, being a loyal customer getting every iPhone from the first one all the way to my current 13 Pro will come to an end thanks to the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4. I have started to feel bored using an iPhone and this Flip 4 has everything I want on a phone: not distracting, compact and powerful enough. Bravo Samsung!
foldables are such a stupid idea. Imagine having to open your phone every time you want to use it. People complain about slow fingerprint sensors or FaceID but wasting time opening your phone is somehow considered "innovation". Dear Lord!
@@cooliipie Me too. I'll pass on this model. Pity Huawei isn't allowed to have Goofle Play - it's such a better phone than the Fold 3 - proper size front screen.
@@cooliipie To each their own I guess. A little incremental improvement isn't too bad, and as someone who's never had a folding phone before, I'm looking forward to it, that is if I can get my hands on it in the future. 😃
I've hade mine for a bit over a year. Bought it on release. This is by far the best phone I've ever owned. I usually buy a new phone every 2 years because I get bored of the old one (I know it's a bit of waste but I sell the old one or give it to family). I've not even considered buying a new phone, I just love it! No issues with it so far and I love folding it up when watching TH-cam and gaming. It's amazing!
As someone looking to upgrade from the staleness of the iPhone, the flip looks like a super interesting option. The portability of the device and just it’s uniqueness compared to other phone experiences I’ve had for years makes it worth it in my eyes. Especially at the same price as any iPhone I’d be looking for. Might have to jump ship soon :)
Oooh, this has me looking forward to the Fold 4! I have the Fold 3 and absolutely love it. I was also impressed at its durability after my phone was left unfolded on an electric burner that was turned on, cooking the entire front, taking off the cameras and cracking and burning through the front screen. After it cooled off, I turned it on for poops and giggles, and it came on and worked like nothing happened. I was able to use the interior display with no cracking, lagging, or loss of pixels or performance. That sold me right there and luckily, thanks to insurance, I am enjoying an intact 3 until it's time to upgrade to the 4. Never going back to standard phones again.
@@zuhairazreekarim9397 It's noticeable that it burns through battery faster than normal phones do (especially if - like me - you use the inner screen a lot) but the battery is still definitely big enough that it's higher power consumption doesn't become an issue. I fairly consistently end my days at about 15% charge - so it does get low - but I've never had it die on me. At long as you charge your phone every night, you should be totally fine.
@@zuhairazreekarim9397 I travel a lot for work, so if it is a longer flight, but I am too lazy to grab my batter pack, I keep it closed and use only the front screen. That actually stretches the battery life out quite a lot (from 100%, I was on it for most of the day either reading a book or on social media and it lasted until later in the evening). During normal days, I like to have the screen open, watch videos, read books, and play my games on the highest image quality, and have 3 or 4 windows open at a time. That burns through the battery faster, but it is a fair trade for the crispy, large display, smooth gameplay and enjoyment. It spoils you and has random people around you ask about it, because it is so different from any other phone in the US market.
Do we know a date yet on when they're allowed to drop a full review? I'm really looking forward to a camera comparison and battery life comparison to the Fold 3!
I just found your Channel today when I search for the Sanyo xacti video and it’s so cool to see that 12 years later you and your channel are still active and going strong. Congratulations!
Doing both of those at the same time was impossible, as there wasn't enough room for an easy fit. They needed to make the battery bigger FIRST w/ Flip 4, and THEN see what kind of cover display they could still fit in the phone w/ the now bigger battery for the Flip 5. Doing it sequentially like that was the only way to make absolutely SURE that everything would fit.
I own a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch and, to be honest, none of the new features of Samsung's smartwatches seem like a good reason to upgrade. The lack of new apps mean that an upgrade would only be nice if I was looking for very precise exercise and sleep tracking, but as I only use my watch for notifications, it would be meaningless to me. The only other smartwatch that seems to be advancing is the Apple Watch, mainly because of the app support from developers. It would be nice to see a review of this new Watch 5 from the perspective of "what really has changed and improved over 6 years?", both in terms of hardware and software in Samsung's wearables.
@@d.fallenprodigy969 No, it only has a small dead zone on the screen. It's a small semicircle in the corner between 12 and 1 o'clock, but because of my watch face I barely notice it.
Waited in line for the 1st gen zflip and I can definitely say it's not for everyone but having this kinda style of tech really feels like we're in the future. 😎
Just got my first android phone this year, the galaxy s22 ultra. Love the change from iPhone. Idk I'm loving how the fold and flip are looking. Might be interested in getting my first smart watch as well.
Your s22 ultra will stoll fetch a good price in trade in from Samsung by then too. The Note 20 Ultra from 2020 can still be traded in for 900 towards a Fold 4 today.
@@candice3803 the problem for me with the s22 ultra is that it was a step backwards for brand new. Its a downgrade from my note 20 ultra thats 2 years old.
I feel the same way as some of the people here. I was never interested in this foldable phone. But ever since I started my online business, I'm kind of seeing how this would be pretty useful for my on-the-go daily routine. And I got to give props to Samsung for continually improving every iteration of this phone. All I can think of with my online business now is to get things done and using tools that will get me there sooner and easier.
Was at a Samsung store playing with one. Looks very good. But I like to drop my phones and not feel stressed 😂. Would feel bad if I dropped this work of art.
@@rebelrevs151 not necessarily, Flagship phones seem to have goon up in price. They weren't always $999 on average. Granted, there have been shortages in recent years due to covid but when companies increase their prices and people still buy the products they aren't usually inclined to lower them back down.
Great to know that Samsung used Sapphire glass for their smart watches. As someone who's into watches, Sapphire glass are scratch resistant and has been used by a lot of diver's watch companies for its durability. Good move.
That battery time on the watches sounds crazy good to have for work, unfortunately looks like the rotating bezel selector has been removed, shame that without it I don't think I'll be upgrading anytime soon, even for the battery improvement.
Honestly as someone who loved the physical bezel, after switching to the regular galaxy watch 4 using the touch bezel works perfectly fine for the few times I use it, and it looks much cleaner. Just my experience
I will never leave my watch 4 classic for that exact reason. I dump it on my bedside table every night anyway, so the battery life doesn't really matter. Nothing beats that nice, clicky bezel
I'm going to be pretty disappointed if Samsung has permanently gotten rid of the rotating bezel on the Galaxy watch. That was, for me the standout feature that made it my favorite watch.
Perfect review, thank you. Just started looking into Galaxy Z Flip/Fold today - I'm on iPhone XR and this thing is **not** enough workhorse for what I need to do - this review just sealed that I'd want the Fold over the Flip for work productivity sake
Don't get me wrong, I loved the bezel too (I'm upgrading from OG GW) but well we gotta move on i suppose. I just hope that maybe someday samsung will bring it back
Definitely looking forward to seeing what the galaxy watch can bring to the table and how their watch OS works. I’m also verge scores for when the fold finally has an integrated S Pen in it. THAT should be the dream for Note Fans
I have the Watch 4 which is very similar just with a weaker battery. It's brilliant, very snapping and has amazing health metrics. Only thing is I charge mine daily which is a pain
Very interested in knowing more about the Watch 5 Pro. Also, since they’ve only made some refinement, which is exactly what I thought when watching the event, I am gonna wait for Galaxy Z5 series, expecting much more refinement, improvements and a very noticeable design change.
9:06 Well, my Casio may not be smart, but it charges from the sun. Plus I don't mind the titanium case and wrist wrap, sapphire glass and 3 months hibernation, while still tracking the time, so when you briefly shine a light it will still tell you what time it is.
I wouldn't mind the under screen camera, and might prefer it, for the fold. I know I am the exception, but I don't use my selfie camera at all, so the picture quality wouldn't be as big of an issue over having it out of the screen.
@@gevinduxrs2 on the fold, you can unfold it, turn it around, and use the outside screen and main cameras. However I do remember someone (Linus I think) saying doing this was bulky and annoying
I'm super excited to see what Samsung does next with the fold. They're in control of the flip phone market which doesn't put a lot of pressure on them to make new things but I'm still super impressed with what they have already. It's far from perfect but still accomplishes something cool
I've really enjoyed seeing how the fold and flip have evolved over the years. My only complaint about the flip (in my experience with the previous version), I wish there was an easier way to open the phone with one hand. I understand Samsung probably makes the hinges this way so you can prop the phone open half way, but honestly as a user of the phone I rarely use it and I would happily give away this ability for an easier way to up the phone effortlessly. (Maybe with some sort of spring loaded locking mechanism when the phone is open in use... I'm not an engineer. )
Really? I also have a Z flip 3 and I have no issue opening it with one hand. I've developed a little trick that may help you out. Try sliding your thumb in between the two screens and give a flick of the wrist. Don't worry about doing it too hard the hinge can handle it. Works every time for me. Hope this helps and have a great day
This is very exciting because Samsung's zfold and flip are their experimental phones. So If these phones preform well via the new Chip, back cameras, and inscreen front camera. Then soon we'll see these features trickle down into the S lineup ❤️❤️
As i remember Nokia Communicators were the businessmen thing but this new generation of folding phones are more of a tablet that’s foldable! chunky yet so much display!!
It's a slight upgrade, if you have the 3rd gen it's just not worth it. But if you have older models or wanna try out foldables they're the best available in the market now 👍🏾
I'm trading in my flip 3, and getting that $900 trade in value. to me the better battery should be worth the $99 plus tax the 4 cost me. they really have me hooked on trade in, I just know my z flip will never be worth this much again 😂
For the Flip this was true, but the wider ≈23:9 front display (vs the much narrower ≈24.5:9 on Fold 3 or even worse ≈25:9 on Fold 2) on the Fold 4 was a SIGNIFICANT improvement. 🤷 It basically nailed the balance between internal & external display aspect ratios for a tablet style foldable (cover display is legitimately wide enough to comfortably use, while the inner display is still notably rectangular and not a FUCKING SQUARE ala OnePlus Open or Oppo Find N/N2).
Once you take advantage of the multi-window feature on the foldable phones it really takes multitasking to the next level! Definitely review that galaxy watch pro just pre-ordered mine I hear the battery life is suppose to be about 80 hours with normal use.
Ever since Motorola introduced the folding Startac I have loved the idea of folding a phone. Never were folding phones the cutting edge of performance, but they were always cool... 👍
I've never really been interested in smart watches, they either just offered info you could get from your phone, or seemed too delicate/fragile to use for health/exercise purposes. But that rugged smartwatch actually caught my attention; was the first time I could see myself getting one in the future
I've had my s3 frontier for a few years now and have beat the crap out of it at work and still works flawless. It is nice to be able to look at text and see who is calling you before digging in your pocket for your phone. Especially at work.
@@chuckwagn7866 I see a lot of people say this same thing when they first get their smart watch or at least show interest in them & after about a week, ive seen these same people dig in their pockets & check the time, texts, notifications, calls on their phone while wearing the watch. I assume at this point majority of the people only get a smart watch for appearance rather than the reason you stated.
Been on the edge of wanting a Flip 3 for the past couple months even though I have a Pixel 6 Pro. Tired of the same ol' same ol' phones so this new Flip 4 is very tempting.
Totally want to see a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro review. Particularly interested in battery life. A lot of people complain about the 4's battery life, but it's only bad in comparison to a Garmin...
Marques, i 've following you for a long time now and incredibly you've maintained a top level in what you do. Frankly, i and many other phone users here in Africa look forward to phones with bigger and durable batteries. West Africa has not overcome its power problem. The current escalation in fuel prices has just made matters worst. Flagships are very very expensive especially for those of us living in third world countries.we were happy with Nokia because of battery and durability. Samsung shouid do more on the battery aspect.
Watching this on the Fold 3 and maaan just the slightly wider outer screen is making me envious. Not enough to upgrade, not by a long shot considering I got this thing esrly this year, but if the fold 5 has some camera and battery improvements, that's the move for me.
Honestly, after using a fold, the best part about the flip compared to fold are the accessories, like the smal hand bag like cases with lanyards- makes us ladies squeal. Also android and samsung gotta make that dock available on their tablets too.
As a Zflip3 owner, I really wish they would come out with a Zflip Ultra. The flipping phone is the current form factor I am most interested in, but I really wish I could get features closer to the S22 Ultra. I would be cool with paying for it too.
I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch to the 5 pro and am enjoying it so far. I do miss the rotating bezel cause I was so use to it, but am enjoying the look and feel of this one. Plus the added features my old galaxy watch didn't have. Currently I am on 48hr use since full charge and have 51% battery left.
Samsung has been killing it when it comes to design on their phones and watches, I think they're finally reaching where apple is at by having a recognizable and pretty perfect aesthetic.
Not really. Downhill after they took away the headphone jack to sell more Bluetooth headphones. Now they dont even give you an SD card slot. Its all to get us to spend more money.
I would love to see some full reviews on the new Watch 5's!! I think an interesting video would be a comparison of this to Fossil's latest watch, a FitBit smartwatch, Apple's Watch Series 7, and potentially a budget watch brand. Comparing UI, fitness tracking, health monitoring, productivity tools (things that make daily living easier without taking your phone out), and compatibility between Apple and Android for each one 🙌
the fold 4 got me invested into looking at the mobile phone industry again it's more or less what I've been waiting for to come out, very happy with the direction it's going in.
I always liked the perceived nostalgia of flip phones from the Flip series. I do prefer my S22U over it in terms of practicality and specs, but the Flip is my 2nd choice. The Watch 5 seems like a small evolution over my Watch 4. Waiting until they can get 80hrs into the regular sized one.
When the original Fold came out, I thought there was no way this style of device would be as usable as a normal smartphone. But with Samsung's continuous refinement throughout the years, even I am considering buying this latedt version of the Fold. Well done, Samsung.

Really disappointing that Samsung ditched the rotating bezel on the Watch 5
It was one of their standout features and the main reason for a lot of people to buy the 'classic' version

The s pen thing I fixed by sticking a ringke band to my phone works decent enough but yeah I would rather have it in the fold it self

During normal days, I like to have the screen open, watch videos, read books, and play my games on the highest image quality, and have 3 or 4 windows open at a time. Doing it sequentially like that was the only way to make absolutely SURE that everything would fit.
I own a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch and, to be honest, none of the new features of Samsung's smartwatches seem like a good reason to upgrade. The lack of new apps mean that an upgrade would only be nice if I was looking for very precise exercise and sleep tracking, but as I only use my watch for notifications, it would be meaningless to me. i was so worried about the lack of a rotating bezel and the leaks but the bezel around the pro actually makes up for it
What they should've done is to put a rotating crown button just like other WearOS watches have. Rotating bezel made little sense with Android
@@Minto107 Hard disagree. The rotating bezel was really well done
@@Minto107 the rotating bezel was soo satisfying and feels so natural to use.
@@Minto107 rotating bezel > crown, crown is shit, I sell my AW, and using Galaxy Watch 3 just right after I try Rotating bezel
Don't get me wrong, I loved the bezel too (I'm upgrading from OG GW) but well we gotta move on i suppose. I just hope that maybe someday samsung will bring it back
definitely would be interested in seeing a review on all 3 . I have a watch 4 and wondering if the watch 5 is that much better overall
I'm going to get the watch 5 pro for sure. The 4 doesn't have a good battery. The 5 looks sharper imo.
How's watch 4 working our for you?
How is the watch 4 battery working for you?
I'd definitely consider getting the Z Flip 4. Looks gorgeous
Definitely looking forward to seeing what the galaxy watch can bring to the table and how their watch OS works. I’m also verge scores for when the fold finally has an integrated S Pen in it. THAT should be the dream for Note Fans
Definitely that why I didn’t switch from my I
Ultra yet. Now I am !
I have the Watch 4 which is very similar just with a weaker battery. It's brilliant, very snapping and has amazing health metrics. Only thing is I charge mine daily which is a pain
oh boi you're so damn right
I'm sure the OS will be just like watch 4. Probably no big changes until Wear OS gets a refresh.
Hopefully the "taskbar" feature gets pushed as an update for the fold 3 🙏🏼. I love that feature!
I agree, would be brilliant
Probably won’t considering this is one of the few differences in the phones to make you wanna but it
It will be. Was confirmed by one Korean TH-camr at their own media event for fold 4 and flip 4.
It's getting pushed out rn!
Very interested in knowing more about the Watch 5 Pro. Also, since they’ve only made some refinement, which is exactly what I thought when watching the event, I am gonna wait for Galaxy Z5 series, expecting much more refinement, improvements and a very noticeable design change.
I love how he goes all in on the owners and chefs but always stays respectful towards the waiters
The fold4 is perfection, too bad it's so expensive. But the new UI effect looks great, I hope the release something similar to their tablets.
Perfection will be when they finally add an s pen
@@andrewk8636 And when they make the crease invisible, if that's possible.
I play Fortnite on my z fold 2 but it can get laggy with big fps dips, is the new processor a good deal better than the z fold 2's?
Would definitely love to see a review of the watches (incl. Whether the LTE versions use up their batteries as badly as the last generation)
I love how he usually releases his first look videos while the official release event is still happening. Like yep I have had these for awhile now.
All creators who get early access do the same, it's when the embargos get lifted!
9:06 Well, my Casio may not be smart, but it charges from the sun. Plus I don't mind the titanium case and wrist wrap, sapphire glass and 3 months hibernation, while still tracking the time, so when you briefly shine a light it will still tell you what time it is.

I have something for you....
I wouldn't mind the under screen camera, and might prefer it, for the fold. I know I am the exception, but I don't use my selfie camera at all, so the picture quality wouldn't be as big of an issue over having it out of the screen.
I think for most people, as long as it's good enough for video calls then it's good.
You don't need it because there's a good one on the small screen
You can use back camera as selfie camera because you always have a way to see the preview.
@@freakingprime we're not talking about the Flip 4 here broh 🙆🏻♂️, it's the Fold
@@gevinduxrs2 on the fold, you can unfold it, turn it around, and use the outside screen and main cameras. However I do remember someone (Linus I think) saying doing this was bulky and annoying
I can't wait for the performance tests on all of these products!
I'm super excited to see what Samsung does next with the fold. They're in control of the flip phone market which doesn't put a lot of pressure on them to make new things but I'm still super impressed with what they have already. It's far from perfect but still accomplishes something cool
Id love to see the S Pen integrated into the Fold, I dont see why it shouldnt be included like the Note
Agreed! It kinda is the the new Note phone anyways
@@zolledelphonic519 it already supports it and the early purchase deal gets you one with a case to hold it
@@zolledelphonic519 they actually released an SPen for the fold, and this gen fold has a case that holds an spen
@@Carterthielftw_ Still not quite *in* the phone yet. Definitely will splurge when it is--my Note 20 Ultra is doing me well for now
@@joshuaeah I actually think the case is quite a tacky accessory, the fold is already quite thick. imtegrating it would be awesome
Definitely would love to see an in depth review on both of these smartwatches!!
Thank you for pointing out the changes from the previous gen to this new gen. Might skip two more years to buy a new one.
Yea I'd definently like to see a review of the watch, and see how it stacks up with competitors, especially in the fitness department
Samsung shouid do more on the battery aspect.
definitely would love to see a full deep dive of the watch 5 when its out 👍
👍
Watching this on the Fold 3 and maaan just the slightly wider outer screen is making me envious. Not enough to upgrade, not by a long shot considering I got this thing esrly this year, but if the fold 5 has some camera and battery improvements, that's the move for me.
You're a tech evangelist, man. I always come here for tech news and never come out disappointed. You should definitely do more smart watch reviews :-)
:-(
I'm interested in the Flip 4. The Fold looks cool too. I don't use a watch, so I'm not the target demographic for those.
The Pro watch looks luxurious, I'd love to see a full review!
Honestly, after using a fold, the best part about the flip compared to fold are the accessories, like the smal hand bag like cases with lanyards- makes us ladies squeal.
Also android and samsung gotta make that dock available on their tablets too.
You don’t sound like a lady tbh
Lost my flip 3 and i miss it so much. Can't wait to get the flip 4 in a few months.
As a Galaxy Gear S3 user (a watch that came out in 2014), I’d appreciate a review of the new watches; love your videos, btw.
Great previews! Definitely interested in seeing more watch coverage 👍🏻
As a Zflip3 owner, I really wish they would come out with a Zflip Ultra. The flipping phone is the current form factor I am most interested in, but I really wish I could get features closer to the S22 Ultra. I would be cool with paying for it too.
hows the battery?
This guy is so consistent and simple with his videos. I like 👍 you
I'm watching the galaxy event at the same time too !!
@@AGILISFPV Oh wow, such an original opinion. You must have massive brain to come uo with logic like that.
@@jordanshim380🤣
@@AGILISFPV I was talking about their phone design aesthetically
No they haven't. The curved screen is annoying and unnecessary
I was watching the first fold review before coming here, the phone and its innovations have come a long way
I would love to see some full reviews on the new Watch 5's!!
Your not doing a review on either phone???
the fold 4 got me invested into looking at the mobile phone industry again it's more or less what I've been waiting for to come out, very happy with the direction it's going in.
Absolutely hilarious that we’re back to flip phones. History always comes full circle
