Im so happy that mathmech and ignister went from "irrelevant due to toss decks being so strong" to "one of the decks that can hold against the big 2"

@@donutthepop5297 why though? Only Arrival is a win condition against lots of decks, and don't forget that you get a monster negate and 4 interruptions with just 1 card (@ignister mathmech version ofc). The only thing I have to agree with you is that it's kinda easy to handtrap: not a meta deck for sure, but an honest t2 really (ignister pure version, with mathmech engine is far more strong and consistent)

Seriously, it's so blatantly obvious, that if you actually fall for it, you deserve what comes next. But replying to it shows that people are seeing it, and incentivizes them to keep doing it. Don't reply, just report and move on.

I actually use Final Sigma in my Swordsoul Deck. The idea with it is to get Virtual World Oto-Hime - Toutou in the graveyard using Swordsoul Strategist Longyuan's effect, then using Longyuan to summon Baronne de Fleur and then use Swordsoul Sacred Summit to bring out Longyuan again and then special summon Toutou from my graveyard to bring out Final Sigma. This is usually done by extending off of the effect of Swordsoul Grandmaster - Chixiao so depending on what I start with, I can easily end up with 2-3 negates (because I can also sometimes get Clear Wing off), a monster immune to card effects. A lot of people surrender at that point lol

As someone who studied Mathematics, I absolutely love the archetype and the fact that all monsters are named after mathematical operators of some sort. The extenders being named after basic operators like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The extra deck monsters and strong backrow cards being named after more advanced mathematical operators like the Laplacian, the Alembertian and the superfactorial or more advanced mathematical concepts like induction. The fact that monsters search each other out so easily is inherent to the fact that for a mathematician, all these operators are easily accessible.
Would love to see the archetype expand further with backrow cards like Mathmech Integration or a boss Link monster like Primathmech Tensor. There are still many more concepts that can be used

As a Mathmech main in Master Duel, I was so stoked to see this video. I actually use the level 8 Kaijus as a triple threat of clearing problem boss monsters, forcing an attack position monster onto my opponents field, and summoning them to my field to help get out Final Sigma. All of the level 8s coincidently have 3k Atk or less, which is the cut off to OTK with an attack from Final Sigma using Nayuta to send Multiplication to the grave. Circular can't get released in Master Duel soon enough.

I have no problem if the card support other monster types, atributes etc. , only if the card support it's own archtype more and better or at least has a severe restriction. That's cool and all but mathmechs and their players are hacks.
From a players perspective the most math they do is 4+4+4=12 and tell me the last time you've seen a mathmech player use Linear Equation Cannon.
Speaking of Linear Equation Cannon we need and "Equation Cannon" a backrow archetype all based real equations, as an example take Quadratic Equation Cannon: Quick Play
declare a positive whole number; if the number of cards in your GY times the declared number squared plus or minus(your choice) the level/Rank/Link of all the cards your opponent controls times the declared number plus or minus (your choice) the cards in your banish zone equal 0, draw cards equal to the declared number. If the previous effect did not resolve, reveal all face down banished cards in your banish zone; shuffle any amount of banished cards back into your deck and you can set this card.
Obviously psct needs work but you get the idea it's the archetypes draw card and because if it resolves and goes to GY/banish you can't declare the same number since this card needs both the GY and banish zone you can't get lucky where it becomes a draw 6 or something once in a blue moon.

My reaction when I decided to use Mathmechs in Duelist Cup, there were a lot of errors in my equations (i.e. handtraps and negates being thrown like candy), but I made to level 18 with them.

Decks like mathmech are showing the age of other decks .. every mathmech card easily do what older cards struggle... I will talk for my deck, gem knights, a deck that can stand on it's own, but lacks the flexibility like this deck provides... It would be nice to have retrains and support which do what they do..

Would a Top 10 Main Deck Boss Monsters video be worth making? I'm not sure how many main deck boss monsters there are in modern yugioh. Aren't almost all of them extra deck monsters? The list might then be filled with mostly old cards. I'm still curious about it.

For Labrynth, I used Harpie's Feather Duster and Red Reboot to destroy my opponent's spells and traps, then link climb to get past Number 41, as Link Monsters are unable to go into defense mode. I linked into Accesscode Talker and destroyed Number 41 and then attacked twice (Update Jammer).

Sad to see that Mathmech Nabla is not even on the List. You just need Nabla and a second Monster to search out Multiplication. Than you can make a Final Sigma with 6000 ATK that can attack up to two Monsters. Fairly vulnerable against Handtraps though. But still a super easy OTK.

The current event is definitely the most I've seen other people play them. It's actually really fun to get a mirror match since Final Sigma becomes vulnerable to your opponents effects so it takes some more strategy.
