Yup, I hope to see more of these. I fell in love again with YGO after trying Master Duel, but getting good and learning the combo routes is quite challenging
I appreciate the history of the deck section, it definitely appeals to someone who may not care to play the deck but is interested in the effect the deck had on the game.
PLEASE keep making this kind of content. I know you always say that you're not an expert on decks, but I think that you definitely have enough knowledge on such a variety of decks that you can make Deck Primer videos like this.
I hope for here and more Yugitubers to do comprehensive guides like this, instead of more click bait TH-cam Combo videos calling every deck under the sun the next unbeatable Tier 0
I'm so happy you made this! I know it doesn't do too well in the algorithm but I really enjoy these comprehensive guides and seeing you make one especially on mathmech really made my day
THANK YOU! As you say, these videos are hard to profit from but they are SO good as reference material, I want to come back to this when I have built the deck and been dunked on by Runick 5 times so that I can use my experience alongside this guide to improve. Great to see you do this kind of content!
Wow I really appreciate this kind of deck guide, as someone who’s only yugioh experience is watching prog style videos, history series and playing master duel this really helps out cuz I was curious how to play this (currently building)
I absolutely love this sort of content and would like much more of it, I'm really bad at deck building myself so stuff like this to explain everything helps a lot
I’m so happy you made this style of video. I look back at sir emenon’s old videos of different decks and how to play. They are long but they give a better version of how a deck plays out. Love to see more of these.
I have played a lot of mathmech in tcg. I wanted to add these thoughts: The use I found for final sigma is for when access gets impermed/veiled. You can make access without normal summon. If your access gets impermed you can normal summon nabla and sac the accesscode for multiplication, which isn't as good but it's an otk sometimes 26:37 if you open circular and diameter you can make a omni negate to protect the alemb. You go circular effect, send sigma, normal diameter, bring back sigma and grab superfactorial through circular, make alembertian with sigma and diameter. Boom you have an omni that will last you (also anti nibiru which is good)
Would love to see more videos like this! I'm trying to get into Yugioh via master duel but I've had a lot of difficulty with how wordy everything is, so this content is a godsend
Please make more of these for different decks! I've always loved deck breakdown videos, and this was VERY informative. Looking forward to more of these videos! 🔥🖤
Im not a matchmech player but seeing this kind of content is really interesting to know how the deck functions and also how to beat it ! Really cool guide. We need more like this in the future.
You did a great service to the community, as a new player i find difficult to pick up new decks. I wish other creators made videos like this for their pet decks
Parallel exceed does get you to 3 mat superfactorial: Alembertian searches circular, circular dumps nabla, alem tributes itself to revive nabla, circular adds superfactorial, nabla tributes itself for diameter. Link off for your choice of IP + almiraj, wicckid + linguriboh or heatsoul
Holy Crap! This is exactly what I wanted. I just watched your previous Math video and immediately went and started pulling cards for this deck. I've had some initial success on ladder, but the detailed explanation of the combos and lines just made everything click. I hate to hear this kind of content doesn't land as well on TH-cam. Even for decks that I have no interest in playing, it's great to see these write-ups. Hoping this (or your other endeavors) perform well enough that you are able to continue to make this kind of content.
Please do more long form educational videos. I really enjoyed this and was considering making the deck. This convinced me to give it a try. I had already been doing an odd N/R Math/Cyberse deck on each new account as a quick way of powering through single player content and through bronze to get gems quickly. Nice to see what else i can do with the cards with a bit more expenditure. Making the new account now while I watch.
You can set up a Heatsoul and a fully active Superfactorial with just a handtrap + Exceed tho: 1. Summon the HT, go into Almiraj and summon Exceed + Exceed from deck 2. Overlay into Alembert, search Circular and special Circular by sending Nabla 3. Tribute Almi with Alembert to summon Nabla, which triggers Circular to search for Superfactorial 4. Link away Alembert and Circular into Wicckid, tribute Nabla to summon Diameter into Kids zone 5. Search Diameter with Wicckid by banishing an Exceed and link Kid+Diameter into Heatsoul Now you have a Heatsoul, a Superfactorial and Diameter, Nabla and Circular in grave and a Diameter in hand
I absolutely LOVE this type of content, and is something DESPERATELY needed in the YGO scene, and you are well positioned to make it. I do add a bit to the conversation, though, as someone who has played this deck a lot in paper and has learned a few things that aren't talked about as much / aren't as well known: 1. Multiplication is actually not only used for Final Sigma lines: he has a very good interaction with Accesscode in that, since the attack doubling was the last thing to happen, his attack will stay at 10200 even if he gets hit with imperm / veiler, which is very helpful in many situations (and in fact is something i would put over nabla in terms of value, though I usually do play both) 2. Another option instead of the Heatsoul is Avramax as a second I:P target, which while usually not as good as Appo, can be made with just the IP and Wicckid in case you need to use the alembertian for the combo. It fulfills arguably the same niche as Final Sigma, which still being interruption even if its outed, which is arguably even harder to do compared to Final Sigma 3. More of a side note, there are a few more options for small world bridges depending on what you value: archfiend eccentrick, which provides S/T and monster removal and still bridges with most other things in the deck (with the unfortunate exception of Maxx C), and Gatchiri Ignister, which is a free extender like infra flier (though unfortunately does require you to negate one of your cards), and can make an unaffected accesscode if need be, AND still bridges with everything (except Multiplication if you choose to play it) But thank you for the guide MBT, I'm so happy Konami decided to put Mathmech into a format where it isn't immediately overshadowed, and I'm glad you're helping introduce more people to the deck. (also side note, its nice to see another double superfactorial truther out there) EDIT: It's also important to note that for your opponent's turn, it's VERY important to make the Apollousa BEFORE activating superfactorial, as this plays around D.D. Crow which, while not particularly prevalent in the meta currently, is very problematic for your interruption. If you feel your opponent doesn't have one you CAN get a second search off of Wicckid, but a single diameter searched last turn is so impactful that it isn't particularly necessary.
Almost 2 years since the first and last MD primer. You had smth good here, MBT. If the algorithm really doesn't help this content, that's fair. But damn this was helpful.
I really hope you can do more of these with other decks. This has been really informative especially since I been looking to play mathmech with circular out in master duel. The deck lists for master duel also helps
As someone who has spent years trying to comprehend Yu-Gi-Oh at above playground level, but was able to get into and nearly above playground level MTG within a month, I can definitely second the thought that there needs to be more general explanation videos.
EL EXORDIO DEL DUELISTA SHOUTOUTS LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO 💪 Would love to see more primers like this on other decks that some people may not be very familiar with.
Very insightful video, it's nice to have something for newer players to actually approach the game with a competent strategy. I was recently teaching my brother magic and he was blown away at how easy it was to pick up compared to his Yugioh experience of trial and error on master duel. Guides into specific archetypes would have probably made his life a lot easier.
Please more of this! I've always loved your deck profiles on history of yugioh, really education and engaging and I feel like this is a great extension of that format. Would love to see you do this more decks in master duel
I greatly enjoyed the in depth guide, especially as a sleeper deck like mathmec. Knew this took quite a bit of time, so thank you! Hoping to see more like this!
I always loved ten minute testings to get a quick look at how decks I'm interested in work, you just have a way of explaining the bones of a deck in a concise way. This type of in depth deck explanation is something I never new I wanted but I feel it is very needed in the youtube community focused on often inconsistent flashy combo decks for the sake of the algorithm. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed this, even as someone with no intention of playing the deck. Seeing everything broken down like this in a long-form video is just really fascinating, especially with your style of commentary. Which is to say: more, please! (Within reason)
Recently started playing Yu-Gi-Oh again after playing a lot of magic. I have always loved this content in magic and was surprised when I couldn't find it for Yu-Gi-Oh. Would love more of this, really helps with how unique decks are in this tcg.
I was known as the mathmech guy for years in my country. I climbed many events with this, and failed many more. Proud it gets some glimmer of recognition, now, thank you for this AWESOME, incredible video!
This video was an absolute life line for me! Completely new player, followed some advice to get dragonmaid, upgraded it to pure based off of a dekayed guide aaaand lost horribly multiple times in a row. Felt hopeless and had no idea what to do next till by some miracle I found this video. It was a big learning curve at first, but the way you explain everything it made lots of sense! I used about half of the rewards I got from the solo play + missions to make this deck. Bought like 40 of those sky striker//mathmech secret pack and a couple staple pre bundles and got the cards to *mostly* make this deck. Its been working wonders in ranked, climbed from rookie to silver and only lost twice due to piloting error. Its been super fun, thank you!
As someone who made this deck without watching any guides and not knowing what I was getting into with it, this video is incredibly helpful. I never even fully realized what the ideal endboard for this deck was intended to be until I saw this video. I'm the kind of guy who tries to brute-force learn his way on how to play certain decks, which helps with simpler decks like Swordsoul and Branded where a lot of their endboards are based on their big bosses specifically... Not so much with something like this. So again, thank you for making this! I'll do my best to support this kind of content in the future, too, to help more players like me!
I was literally wondering about this kind of video earlier for the 30th time. Great work on this, and please give us more of these kinds of guides if you are able!
I'm so happy you made this video/guide/tutorial. I've been working on making a Mathmech deck and this really helped me get an understanding of the combo lines and plays. Thank you so much and boy oh boy is math fun!
Here is some different versions of this combos: 19:21 [Heatsoul Variant]: You can special summon Wicckid instead of Spash Mage to add Diameter as follow up instead of Transcode for target protection. 21:27 [No Circular]: You can normal summon Sigma instead of using its effect from hand. After detaching it and summoning Circular, special summon Sigma from GY by activating its own effect. Now you have 3 monsters on the field, same of the standard "1 Circular combo". This way you will save the Diameter in hand for follow up. (Sorry about my bad english)
Much respect. I agree that one of the most frustrating things about Yugioh is when a new deck or archetype comes out everyone is just expected to know how it works and there's never a good guide on it anywhere, and it really sucks that the big reason for that is stupid YT algorithm bs.
I'm partly doing this for the algorithm, but I loved this video and genuinely wish there was more like it for other decks. It would make it so much easier to learn new decks, and Yu-Gi-Oh has a steep enough learning curve as it is.
This is so hype, unbelievable quality content, hope to see more in the future, maybe not with an high frequency at the cost of a lower quality and dedication, but just like this when you feel like it
While loving the twitter threads I must say that this style of content is so much more interesting. The history of the deck in the tcg and the commentary on match ups really help to situate where the deck stands in the present meta
YES I LOVE THIS. PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE IF POSSIBLE. Also oneday you mentioned how no one does guides on the generic macro skills of Yu-Gi-Oh and i think it would be SUPER helpful to newer/intermediate players
There are a couple of addendums to be made: 1. Exceed + A Handtrap is full Combo bar the Linguriboh. If your normal summon is a cyberse, you also get the Linguriboh. 2. Exceed also enables a cleaner 4 Material Alembertian line that ends on a Board of Wicckid + IP instead of nothing. 3. For the main Combo to work optimally, you summon the Linguriboh under the Disciple before linking it and another Cyberse to summon Wicckid in the other EMZ. This allows you to have an open Zone under Wicckid. This is useful in scenarios where your opponent uses backrow removal first to bait the superfac. 4. Play Final Sigma and Multiplication. Having another OTK Option for little investment is immensely helpful to win your games. Especially against capable opponents who keep Cards like Veiler/Imperm/Droplet or other disruptions for Accesscode. 5. The double handloop Combo you showed off is just... 1... handloop. The materials are still under the laplacian on field so the trap is dead unless your opponent removes the XYZ first. There are some additional Details I disagree with but those are more in the realm of Personal preference than actual Tips regarding playing the Deck in general. I really enjoyed your guide of the Deck and hope we get to see more like these in the future.
I just got into master duel, and I liked this deck, thank you so much for the break down, gonna have to watch a couple times but I feel like I’m in a much better place
This is AMAZING. I followed another guide which did teach me the main circular line but that was it. If I didn't have circular or going second I was lost.
I'm going to have to give this deck a shot on duelingbook, im loathe to give up UR material in Master Duel but if this deck ends up being good on duelingbook I'll definitely give it a shot!
This content is so needed in yugioh thats beyond me why nobody did something like in so much time. Plus MBT must one of the few people in yugitube that cand do something like this.
I deeply appreciate your goal of doing something impactful that matters. Very wholesome and mature of you. Don't get me wrong I love a good bussy joke as much as anyone but this content is great too. Great work Joe
Very very very much enjoyed this. I recently took earth machine to locals for the first time and while there's a ton of resources on combos, I had to learn the actual theory by feel, which was not exactly a great way to do it. Strong agree that the community needs more of this kind of content from different creators, thanks for leading the charge
15:13 How to do full combo with Exceed+Handtrap: Normal hand trap, make almiraj, summon exceed. Make Alembertian and search Circular. Circular effect milling nabla. Alembertian effect tributing Almiraj to summon nabla triggering Circ to get Superfactorial. Tribute Nabla to summon Diameter from deck. Diameter and Circ into Disc and Dev. Make the tokens, link off into Wicckid and IP.
I’ll say this, for those who think this video isn’t good: THIS HAS HELPED ME. Not only did it help me with ratios and what to put in the extra besides the obvious. Im watching it again because I know there’s a way to play around max C but I don’t know it fully yet
Exordio truly is blessing. Great video. Started playing Mathmech recently (Heatsoul version) but will try to invest in and focus on the other line. The anti Maxx C is great, will be doing that for sure.
I dont plan on playing mathmech in masterduel but this video is still greatly appreciated. This type of content is so unique compared to a normal "here's how to play the deck" video
since we had the striker pack unlocked for free in the update I did a 10 and got 2 sigma and a bunch more stuff so I was like "well guess it's time to finally build this". leaving a comment to appease the algorithmn gods for mbt for this funny coincidence
This was perfect because I trying to figure out how to use mathmech yesterday! So many options/lines to choose from that I got completely lost 😂, thank you MBT.
This video is genuinely fantastic and helpful in every possible way. Would love to see you do this with more decks you're passionate and knowkedgeable about. Adore the detail and specifics you went into!
From ten minute testing to thirty minute thrusting
From ten minute testing to finally a good video

YES. This type of content is SO needed in the YGO scene. And you are so good at explaining these types of things.
^ This.
Yup, I hope to see more of these. I fell in love again with YGO after trying Master Duel, but getting good and learning the combo routes is quite challenging
He has been trained his whole life for this by Alex Cimooo in the progression series
just go watch db grinder and you'll learn
@@dvsavocs5290 DB Grinder is very informative but GOD ALMIGHTY he is boring
I appreciate the history of the deck section, it definitely appeals to someone who may not care to play the deck but is interested in the effect the deck had on the game.
One of the most interesting part of a card game is watching meta game ripples, So I love history sections
If you are interested in some Master Duel Videos - Give a look on my channel ( Streams will be soon )
Appreciate that anyway! 🤝 Thanks
How do you not know?
PLEASE keep making this kind of content. I know you always say that you're not an expert on decks, but I think that you definitely have enough knowledge on such a variety of decks that you can make Deck Primer videos like this.
Stuff like this is incredibly useful and really helps. Thank you for making this, I hope for more in the future.
out of all the youtubers i thought i was gonna see in the comments section, shayy was *not* one of them xD

Count Von Count has truly upped his game. Puppets are out, cardboard is in.
Really like this type of video. As both a Magic and YGO fan, I have always wanted primers for YGO. Thanks for the help!
I'm so happy you made this! I know it doesn't do too well in the algorithm but I really enjoy these comprehensive guides and seeing you make one especially on mathmech really made my day

This is unironically the best content you've ever made. Straight up. We need more of this in the community.

EDIT: It's also important to note that for your opponent's turn, it's VERY important to make the Apollousa BEFORE activating superfactorial, as this plays around D.D. Crow which, while not particularly prevalent in the meta currently, is very problematic for your interruption. If you feel your opponent doesn't have one you CAN get a second search off of Wicckid, but a single diameter searched last turn is so impactful that it isn't particularly necessary.

I'm partly doing this for the algorithm, but I loved this video and genuinely wish there was more like it for other decks. It would make it so much easier to learn new decks, and Yu-Gi-Oh has a steep enough learning curve as it is.
I regularly play mathmech, but it’s still nice to see all the new combos with voice over. Thanks MBT
Thank fucking CHRIST a yugi tuber is making a good guide on a deck for masterduel and more casual/semi competitive players. You're doing God's work 😭
YO! More of this!
As a player that likes to play many decks + understand them this is a piece of yugioh content that needs to be done more.
RARE MBT Master Duels Content LETSGO
One of the most comprehensive yugioh deck primers in video format. Thank you
This is so hype, unbelievable quality content, hope to see more in the future, maybe not with an high frequency at the cost of a lower quality and dedication, but just like this when you feel like it
While loving the twitter threads I must say that this style of content is so much more interesting. The history of the deck in the tcg and the commentary on match ups really help to situate where the deck stands in the present meta
THANK YOU MBT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS
Honestly, one of the best yugioh videos I’ve ever seen, it was comprehensive and concise. 10/10 will watch again
Even as someone who both played POTE Mathmech and doesn;t play MD anymore, this was great to see. Absolutely what's needed RN
YES I LOVE THIS. PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE IF POSSIBLE. Also oneday you mentioned how no one does guides on the generic macro skills of Yu-Gi-Oh and i think it would be SUPER helpful to newer/intermediate players
I understand that this kind of video might not do amazing on youtube but they are extremely helpful, this probably saved me like 2-3 hrs.
THIS is quality content, please continue with these primers. We'll need one when both Spright and Tear drop in MD
Great work! This was sorely needed since, as you mentioned, the best we have are combo videos. I hope you do more.
Thanks for making this video, I used your list as a base and just made it to D1 with the deck. Hope you make more content like this in the future.
There are a couple of addendums to be made:
I'm not planning on playing the deck or even Master Duel, but I sat through the whole video. The information is very well presented.
This is AMAZING.
I followed another guide which did teach me the main circular line but that was it. If I didn't have circular or going second I was lost.
genuinely love this, plz make this a series
Being the first deck I built in master duel I felt so happy when they added circular and moved the deck into meta status.
This video is so amazing and absolutely sold me on Mathmechs in MD. Thanks!
Thanks for providinh such a video. Since the Cardcircuit Drama nobody really does masterduel strategy and combo videos etc
Very very very much enjoyed this. I recently took earth machine to locals for the first time and while there's a ton of resources on combos, I had to learn the actual theory by feel, which was not exactly a great way to do it. Strong agree that the community needs more of this kind of content from different creators, thanks for leading the charge
awesome, i wanted to pick up mathmech for a while and this is the perfect time, your video will be super useful in getting me outta the noob-zone :D
15:13 How to do full combo with Exceed+Handtrap:
Normal hand trap, make almiraj, summon exceed.
This in depth look without over hyping like some youtubers do. I'm not a competitive player but I love the pointers
This type of content is so unique compared to a normal "here's how to play the deck" video
more of this please, md is in dire need of videos like this
since we had the striker pack unlocked for free in the update I did a 10 and got 2 sigma and a bunch more stuff so I was like "well guess it's time to finally build this".
leaving a comment to appease the algorithmn gods for mbt for this funny coincidence
The Cyberse are some of my favorite decks. Also this type of vids is really nice to see coming from some who’s more or less a casual
This was perfect because I trying to figure out how to use mathmech yesterday! So many options/lines to choose from that I got completely lost 😂, thank you MBT.
Been playing mathmech months before the circular drop, happy to have this as a way to learn how to effectively use it
This video is genuinely fantastic and helpful in every possible way.
Would love to see you do this with more decks you're passionate and knowkedgeable about. Adore the detail and specifics you went into!
