This isn't nuclear revenge, this is nuclear justice.
Nuclear Justice on a time delay fuse. You gotta have time to get out of the blast area.
More like nuclear 🧢
Oof oof Those guys didn't manage to get our!
Nuclear CYA (Cover Your Ass)
I'm vengance . . .
The fact that the auditor had evidence that they fabricated a reason to fire an emloyee didnt lead to thier own firing, but just move them to different departments, says everyting about that company. No wonder all this shit was happening.
It really says more about corporate America. That's common practice.
It's possible she was still investigating, and wanted to split them up to reduce the damage they could do. Also, one got a demotion.
I think that was a strategy to get more information. not so much keep them employed.
I remember this being read on DarkFluff with a bit more details. But the most relevant bit regarding your comment is that the auditor didn't just shuffle Henry and Franko around. Rather she got them out of the building and under heavy surveilance as she scrutinized absolutely everything they touched; from finances to comp tickets. She was able to find his crownies in HR and was not going to stop until everyone of those traitors felt the ground hit their asses.
For more context, Henry had a couple of "loyal friends" in HR who would rubber stamp and file away anything he submitted before the company was even aware paperwork was submitted. So even though there were some, like the auditor, who suspected something was up, they needed something more than "a feeling" in order to pursue it.
Here is the problem with your comment about just firing them. It went deeper than those two, and if you just fire them you don't get the rest. No wonder people like you are okay with just getting the surface and not removing the real corruption.
Narrator: It’d be pretty nice to see those two lose their jobs.
Dean: Say no more.
and his wife and the new boss I love how they all were just like "Oh those guys are not getting away with that"
And _that_ is how you know that new job’s a keeper.
" i decided to not burn this bridge yet
Because perhaps i could Nuke it later"
Ayo that went hard
Narrator: he didn't have to.
well atleast it nuked.
Always record when you have a gut feeling. It could save your ass
us took this strat even further lol
Sadly at so many work places they have rules about people keeping their phones in their lockers or somewhere out of the area they work so it’s not easy to do this and I bet so many people get screwed over because of these rules
Technically OP committed a misdemeanor (eavesdropping) in the state of IL. This is not good advice in all states.
In some states you have all party knowledge laws.
You know you are at a good company, when not only do they listen to your side of the story, but also speak up for you and make sure you get the justice you deserve.
And that too without telling you
@@ayushchaudhari5655 i wanted to comment that lmao
@@fasna-xq4sy you missed it by a narrow 3 months! 😂
*DAMN!*
Moral of the story: Don't hire scum. And don't let good workers go.
To me, I don’t think this story is considered nuclear revenge it’s more or less like a butterfly effect, because when she showed her new employer the videos it was meant to defending herself from false accusations of her last employers but because she showed the video to her new employer then the new employer showed it to his wife it caused this unintentional massive chain reaction to something so big that even the OP didn’t expect today because at her interview she was ready to Move on with her life until she finally heard the news seven months later, she felt satisfying. That’s why she considers this nuclear revenge at the end
Always fight, never be agreeable.
this is irrelevant but i think the op is a he
The op has a girlfriend so statistically it is likely that the op is a male and not a lesbian/bi woman.
Yeah it was more like aciddentally bumping a small pebble down a mountain and then it turns into a rockslide.
You could consider it *the nuclear fallout* of his action rather than nuclear revenge, because fallout also travels far and does a lot of damage and would fit into the butterfly effect while still staying true to the nuclear theme! :D
When I first heard this story I ran into a lady that just gotten fired because she didn’t sleep with her boss and I sent this to her. She’s lawyering up
How can she prove that I'm sure it didn't even happen
@@JustinAdamson270 Texts and phone calls. Some dudes act stupid when they want pussy.
You better fucking tell me what happened after that!
Dean is a walking tungsten symbol
Any chance dean is oppenheimer descendant?.😂😂😂
nice one haha
OP: "It would be nice if those guys lost their jobs."
Dean: *YOUR WISH IS GRANTED!!*
"Deanie" in an office lamp
Can we get a standing ovation for Dean please?
Sounds like Dean cut some competition up too in the process, lol
Dean is a superstar lol, getting justice and a little bit of competitive advantage for his company 😂
Looks like it was more so in passing curiosity and it ignored a tsar bomb hidden just below sight
The most annoying part is, after those two assholes got him fired, they tried to stop him from getting hired somewhere else.
This is the most Olive Garden story to ever Olive Garden. So much of this parallels what employment is like at Olive Garden it’s insane.
5:49 whether the story is fake or not, always get promises in writing. never take the word of someone, especially if they seem incompetent. if they dont want to put it in writing with signatures and dates, dont be surprised when they break those promises or when they say that they never said it.
I think this is about Mambos Seafood in Chicago. I did some quick googling and in 2011 it looks like several people including one named “Fredo” all got indicted for what OP is saying.
Somewhat unrelated, but yesterday, my cell phone compagny finally got a hold of me(one after while I was swimming and the other, I didn't hear my phone), to sell me a promotion of the internet plan. I asked if I could get the offer by e-mail(to have a record and to be able read the details). He answered he couldn't. Well I didn't take the offer(even if it was twice the speed for the same price. The speed I have isn't bad though)
@@UberUzelyou’re a lifesaver bc I KNEW this had to have made the news somewhere. Also the fact there was a name change around the same time w/the restaurant
Bro got his Revenge by doing nothing 😂😂
He did prepare a nuclear bomb but it was Dean who set it off lol
He was just cautious and suddenly 20 people got f'd up.
“I didn’t burn the bridge just yet, so I could nuke it later” 💀
JUSTICE RAINS FROM ABOVE!
Dean is the real MVP here. He served justice above and beyond. And had the decency to ASK about why the old company fired OP, instead of directly discarding his application.
This isn't revenge. This is sweet sweet karma~
I wouldn't have been fired. I would've quite and moved onto another job. This sort of thing has happened to me, multiple times, and every single time (sometime after I leave) the company crash and burns.
The thing is, if you're fired then it's much easier to claim unemployment. In OPs case, even if he got denied unemployment because his old employer said he "committed theft", he could request a hearing with a judge and then show the video in court.
@@madmatt2024^^^ you can at least get money while looking for another job
The restaurant business is messy, it’s literally a telenovela in real life, every establishment I’ve worked at had some form of drama going on between the employees especially when it came relationships/dating coworkers. Some people stayed out of it and I’ve had a few decent managers that didn’t hit on the waitresses/hostess but it was A LOT to take in. This was almost 2 decades ago so things may have changed since then.
Oh yeah, they did change... for the worse, and I'm there for the drama
It's the same. It's like you said, some places are nuts and some places are just juicy
On a completely separate note, stop cheating on your Minecraft parkour runs 😂
props to OP for taking on that position and keeping it all those years especially while protecting her staff as long as they could as well as they could
Gad DAAMMM, when karma strikes it takes no prisoners
title goes hard
Dude was basically the only thing holding it together
I just want to say that after being treated badly, refused a pay raise for management position and being harassed sexually and verbally at my old restaurant job… this makes me feel better knowing at least someone got justice for what they went through
Dean is the GOAT in this situation
sounds like action and mystery short film. Really entertaining.
First time in a while heard something this satisfying
This is more like incendiary justice than nuclear. The initial email created a firestorm that wasn’t anticipated and while the OP’s new boss and his wife were trying to see if the OP could sue, they accidentally set in motion a chain of events that exposed corrupt managers, got a criminal kingpin arrested, and led to corporate cleaning house before those two jerks created something truly awful. They didn’t metaphorically blow up two individuals careers, they metaphorically blew up an entire operation.
Mr. Dean be like, i see that's what happened. May be this is good target to use Almighty "SEND" button.
It feels good knowing there are still good people out there.
"We'll call him Harvey."
If you know, you know.
This story deserves a movie by its self :)
Sounds like a butterfly effect then nuclear revenge to me
OP didnt even need to lift a finger. It kinda play out even without him knowing...
This would be quite the movie plot
To an old school movie or short film. The current climate of film is very pandering. We're never gonna get another good fellas or usual suspects pulp, the big labowski etc. Where life is allowed to unfold organically and gradually and the protagonist isn't at the center or the cause of everything
They would never make this movie, a mass deportation overhaul in a movie would get Hollywood cancelled so fast.
@@ayylynn2325 I know this is 6months late, could change it to a chance of deportation and make some passionate monologue and they're not deported/ Dean saves them personally
Well, that escalated quickly. Certainly a bigger mess than the auditor initially expected. Though I feel bad for the immigrants who were deported.
Except for the line cook I suppose. Others might be collateral damage (Illegal as they may be), but he's the evil's accomplice to the whole saga
14:16 Wow they really lost their minds lmao 🤣🤦
Nuclear Justice on a time delay fuse with auto trigger!!! XD
Someone: I don’t believe in karma!
Me: shows them this video
Dean, the hero we didn't know we needed.
Dean and his wife really went like : we got you girl 😂
This made no sense till I went online and poked around. I guess this really did happen......wow......
Personally I go scorched earth when I leave a job, never leave it standing, never let them reopen, so I personally couldn't fathom being this passive.
OP is lucky he didn't get charged with eavesdropping in IL
That was one hell of a story.
Props to Dean and his wife. The fact that he took it upon himself to see if there was anything he could do to help OP after Harvey's attempt at character asassination speaks volumes about Dean's character and what kind of person he is. The world needs more people like Dean- many employers would take things at face value and not even give the applicant the chance to tell their side
this could be a whole ass 4 season netflix special 💀
Dean is a true boss. Right from day one he was in OPs corners and he stayed there
Batman would be proud, worried for your mental well being, but proud.
Its always nice to see the universe making the right decisions
Boy oh boy, pick a fight you can win.
all from a recording, what a crazy story
That's gotta be some kind of a record for one of these stories
I've seen this many times before. While it may not necessarily be nuclear revenge, it's definitely nuclear KARMA
Dean and his wife were the MVPs
I HEARD THE INTRO AND I WAS SURPRISED AF-
And to think this could've ended if the one asshole didn't shit talk about his former employee on his new job application, he already had gotten rid of him, but no, he had to berate OP in any conceivable way possible. If he had talked positively or even neutrally of his former employee, none of this would've happened. One mistake crumbled everything.
W Dean and wife
A small ripple in the middle of a calm lake can become a wave with the right stone.
amazing, this has got to be god rolling the dices. always these absurdly unlikely connected events out of sheer righteousness. ive had been connected to 2, maybe 3 CEO's that had treated me badly prior being fired for unlikely and even- seemingly no reason at all.
one time the CEO was fired SAME DAY infront of 20 managers who came to visit our compartment, he was prompty told he had 15 minutes to pack his shit and leave
i wish the social credit score system would be corruption proof- imagine how great society could be if we could put a tag on assholes?
I would find a way to contact them and be like "just heard what happened, LOL"
Holy. That was pretty entertaining lol.
Heard this story yesterday and it was posted here a few hours ago
Lol a meeting with staff and management where staff can air their upsets and grievances with 'no opportunity of reprisals' against the staff for speaking their minds is ALWAYS a trap to do exactly that and fire malcontents.
Asking people to be their sugar daddy is SA? In that case, plenty of women should be in prison.
Harassment, not assault, and this took place on the job where he was their boss. It would be different if he had just been hitting on strangers in bars or something.
This went from calling 2 scumbags to showing just how corrupt the whole restaurant was.... that wasn't Nuclear revenge or justice... that was Nuclear Karma.....
Dean is a frigging chad
1:04 well now I know what thing I have trauma about
God bless all the people involved in bringing this to justice.
Also, what kind of toxic work culture is that which doesn't pay workers enough money without extra hours? Extra hours should got to a new hire.
New manager Dean is a G
I love this story
Holy molly that's a lot of shady stuff going on in that company! O_O
this sounds like a movie
As an Audrey, this Audrey is an absolute W
As someone who is from Chicago and worked in the food service industry downtown. Damn this is such a Chicago thing to happen lol. Omg I’ve seen many people including myself get screwed over like this and then only for something nuclear to this degree to happen lol
best story so far
I really hope the people that were deported had saved up enough money to come legally..
The auditor wasn't fired despite having proof they fabricated a reason to dismiss an employee; instead, they were just transferred to another department. This speaks volumes about the company and explains why all these issues were occurring.
Dean and his wife are a big W.
restaurants, car shops and trucking are like the closest thing to black market jobs other than the actual black market
"NOT THE TYPE TO MAKE MILLIONS OFF A CONPANY??? DO IT!!!!!"
I want to know if this was Pizza Parlor in Chicago Frfr bc I remember ordering and the next day they were in the news for investigation of the management
What’s weird is that OP never actually got revenge. OP did absolutely nothing in this story other than get fired and record a video.
He let himself get put in a position to get fired because he wasn’t paying attention or trying to protect himself, got completely blindsided and only saw some semblance of revenge because someone else put the effort in after taking pity on him
nah this ain't no nuclear revenge this is nuclear karma
Me- Reads story title
My mind- Oh fu*k, this is gonna be a doozy!
I respect the noble intentions, but bro. If he had sued, he could retire. His case would have escalated SO far, he could own a franchise of the company by the end of it AND get a settlement.
I mean this guy has luck ♾️♾️
This is not revenge, this is karma 😂😂
This is just straight up nuclear karma.
WHAT DID THE WIFE WANT? A REMATCH OR SOMETHING?
14:03 The parkour is fake. Watch him fly when he fails to make the jump. edit: 15:55
You didn't see the elytra he picked up?
Oppenheimer theme fits the nuclear justice
Sounds less like nuclear revenge and more like mass chain explosion revenge.
Whatever is the new company that hired him, its a keeper.
OP had the Nukes but dean Entered the codes to launch it.
This is insane
