I feel like knives should come with both a regular pocket clip and a deep carry pocket clip. If that becomes too expensive for knife retailers they should at least have an option to choose between each clip on websites and what not.

Its a gravity knife here in the Netherlands also, anything that opens with the assistance of gravity is a gravity knife. I really hope they never try out a griptilian, those things are so smooth they could be gravity knives :D
Even though there's a "safety" in the form of the button, it's probably still considered centrifugal/gravity open. I had a friend get busted for dealing knives at a rodeo, they were all way too loose and could be flicked open, I think he had like 5 left when the cops were done.

@@chiefvercingetorix3662 the Warlock on the Phoenix honestly I appreciate more for the novelty Factor they're straight-up cool and yes either would make a good EDC knife however possibly intimidating probably not the best knife to carry at your job if you have to wear a suit I think the Phoenix would be a bit better EDC just do to the single edge (depending on model) being able to put your hand on the spine of the blade is a major benefit something you can't do with a dagger the best EDC knives probably not honestly the Benchmade Griptilian, 940 Spyderco paramilitary 2 or 3 or really any modern titanium framelock I would be more practical but not nearly as much fun

I just love this Unfortunately in Germany any folding knife that can be opened using one hand (even if the opening mechanism is triggered by gravity) is considered a weapon and can not be carried in public. Also because the blade is over 8,5cm (it's 9,65cm) as a folding knife this basically counts as a weapon in two ways. God I hate Germany's knife laws.
A knife with - a double-edged blade - a fixed blade longer than 12cm (4.7") - a folder longer than 8.5cm (3.3") - a folder opened using only one hand is considered a weapon and requires an allowance to carry outside the owner's home. Things such as Shurikens or Throwing Stars are completely illegal, throwing knives can only be owned if they are used as a sports tool. So yeah, we are.
any suggestions for my phoenix?- it has a little blade play when locked and the two sides of the case/handle slide 1/4 to 1/2 a millimeter when closed. minor problems, and i havent tried tightening the mechanism yet bc i dont have that size allen key. also closed and open it has a small rattle/ im too scared to take it apart 😭😭 Great review!! (problems not from use it came like this)
@@WhyyB good stuff yeah tightening the screws well not actually tighten the mechanism a little bit of play is actually normal like an OTF not too much but a little shifting between the handles is not unheard of with these Paragon knives this model I have here was much better but there is some variance off the line
I love the paragon series of knives, but I always hated the dagger warlock because I always thought I would stab myself. I love the Phoenix because it's a one sided blade, and I would know how to close it properly
300 bucks for a s30v blade... ffs, it better look cool. It's awesome looking, but for that price, s90, s110, m390, M4, hell even ZDP? I wonder if they had to go with softer steel due to the blade striking the inside of the case and possible chipping while closing it??
Rob Kahla the blade does not touch, and they are making them in s90v from now on. got my new warlock in s90 yesterday and I have to say that I'm impressed by how much they improved a design that was already perfect, the new warlock I got has zero blade play and I built similar to this one. it is 100% worth the money in every way, and is now my all time favorite
Nickolai GB that's a huge step up to s90v, that definitely helps the price point on this knife, with spyderco's in s110v almost 200, and the benchmade in m390 well over 200, the price seems fairly logical with that steel.

All balisong knives are legal in every way under 3.5 inches in MI, but if they are over said length they must be open carried on the hip or elsewhere. Got the medford clone to !
