  • Ashville Steel did it agen with another great knife. this is cool and tactical looking with the all black blade and sleek feel of the handle shape. to me it looks very stealthy. and is alittle lighter than the warlock. Greek design over all and very collectible.

    My Dreadlock arrived today, needed zero lube or break in. Hands down my favorite fun flicking knife! Like discovering the balisong all over again in my 30s.

    When I got my Warlock I took some vice grips, covered the button with cloth and left it clamped overnight. The next day I put some knife oil on all the mechanisms and the stiffness went away completely.

    I don’t understand how this is considered a gravity knife but button lock knives aren’t

    Two words man... Silicone lube. Buy it in aerosolized form and wait for it to dry after application. Once it evaporates, it's a dry lube that will prevent marring on coated blades like that. You'll find it at your local hardware store generally advertised as something like "garage door lubricant". It has soooo many other uses, and it goes a long way. "Little dab will do ya" in most situations really.

    Could I get your opinion? I want one of these knives and I was going to get the warlock but I feel like it’s kind of big for the pocket, does the dredd lock seem slimmer with it’s handle or can you not tell the difference

    • @knives-sg1sz
      @knives-sg1sz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the dred lock is slimmer than the warlock definitely. Its either or not you mind the weight. Since they are all metal, its gonna have abit of heft to it but it dosent bother me any.

    I've seen people saying that the action is stiff some blades wont come out and some people have to live it up is that the same with yours

    • @knives-sg1sz
      @knives-sg1sz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've noticed that if the blade is coated then yes it will be very stiff to move the blade out. Its kind of a let down. But that's where you play with it and work it in and it works out later. But if the blade isnt coated in paint then the action is fine.

    Hey, in Australia and a lot of other countries, its not gravity knives that are illegal but assisted openers and auto's, anything that the blade is not fully controlled by the users input IE: springs ect. The term gravity knives isn't used here as all manuals are considered gravity knives in that gravity can assist in opening but things like springs ect can't. What other examples of gravity knives do you know of? And these Paragon knives are not illegal in Aus and we have pretty strict knife laws as above.
