I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical on the back window change up at first, but seeing it now, it was a great call Chad, Elvis is looking awesome 👏 can’t wait to see it painted and rolling down the road !
I honestly felt the same as you. Must admit it look fantastic.
The only thing that worries me is it created a larger blind spot for the rear view mirrors.

Go for it. LOL I am just happy to have my cars run. Never would have thought to make an engine cover for any of them. That takes patience and skill!!

Kustom is the way to do front to back top to bottom. Love watching these videos. Helps me forget about everything else.

Thats the best part of building a custom car for yourself,; you can make it look like anything you like. Jolene always does a fabulous job with the camera.

Consider using quarter -turn Dzus fasteners to hold those pieces of metal in place. That look clean and be easy and fast to access the engine. We use them on aircraft all the time because these are easy and strong. More expensive than a screw but much more used friendly. Pulse there won't be screws to fall and disappear.

I'm surprised that you'd want to cover the engine and components. I'd think you'd want to show them off! I can understand why GM & Ford (etc.) would want to cover the new mess under the hood, but your stuff is beautiful!

I think boxing in the engine bay will look so much better then all that open space . A good opportunity to show off a locals artist work . Like the Indian head you painted at the rink many moons ago . This is gonna be another great build . Hard to pick a favorite haha . Love the positive outlook you bring to every video . Thank you .

Would be cool to see some of the shapes of the engine reflected in the engine cover. Cool stuff as always. Glad I'm not the only one who needs to take nervous pees.
Have you tried a jig saw with a good bi-metal/metal Blade in it to cut sheet metal. Works very well for curves. ❤️❤️

Neat car, a lot of custom details, really interesting.
The side scallops are nice looking.
The side pipes and the rear window are not my style but saved lots of time by not putting a nice window in. I like the traditional looking plain rear end. It’s a shame he didn’t have somebody that could install all the rear lights and mock-up the wiring. He could have saved a ton of time. I don’t like the front end but some people will I’m sure. And the plastic windshield, well as always it was an entertaining effort. Fun stuff!!
Aluminum diamond plate, a chunk of rose wood or black walnut then your bubble. I'd possibly try a small piece of diamond plate in the English Roller to knock it down & see what it changes looks wise. Less pronounced & stretches the design !!!
I really notice the intuitive way Jolene uses the camera. Really follows where you'd move if you were there. Nicely done.
Watching from here in Michigan as the snow falls, it's the best time of the day to watch what Chad will get done in an hour. Always amazing, and great camera work to get all the action. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Chad I think you have the right thought there to have a clear bubble to see pat of the motor, only make it about 50% longer towards the front making an oval bubble so you see more of the engine paint only the outer part of the plexiglass leaving the bubble clear, make a cardboard template to see how it looks.
