CUSTOM ENGINE BAY FABRICATION

This week Charlie takes you into his world of fantastical fabrication, creating a sleek custom engine bay for our custom 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe.
Today, with a little help from the #baileighindustrial crew Charlie shows how you can bring an entirely different type of depth to your custom build, by making an elegant, smooth frame around our #ls3 powerplant.
Stick around until the end of the video to see how we put our CNC router to work, milling out a one of a kind set of valve covers to finish it all off.
This car has been a filler project throughout the years, but now we're taking it off the back burner. Our goal is to tour with this build next year, so the clock is ticking!
This build is so exciting for more reasons than one, we don't see this era of car roll through the shop as often as we'd like! So we're stoked to get our hands on a true classic sled.

Damn bud.....Ive been restoring cars since 13 well was baby sat in a shop from 13 up lol......but I can not make metal on something with very little straight lines look more beautiful if I had all month.....and someone brings me a fender once a month to get make smooth again after they hogged it all up.
