Love this recipe comes out delicious. First time I made it tho. It held together but was breaking into smaller pieces. Second time idk what happened I did the same thing but nothing stuck. It was just like granola. But either ways it tasted really good
I’ve never liked homemade granola bars because of the raw oatmeal. But I never have seen a recipe where they toasted the nuts and oats before the binders! Brilliant! Thank you so much! Especially seeing the gmo alerts on the box of Quaker granola bars, and others as well!
Wait you never thought to yourself "hmm maybe I should try making these but roasting my raw oats first?"
Quick oats are steamed and cooked as part of their processing and so are not raw.
There's nothing wrong with GMO, don't fall for everything.
You can just tell that this tannie knows how to maak kos.
Made these today!!! They were so delicious omg!!! My kids refused the brownies I made yesterday to eat these today!!!! Thank you for this recipe!!! 😁
Glad your kids loved them 😀
I melt 1/2 cup belgian chocolate & put it in the bottom of the pan before pressing the mix down. To the mix, I also add 1/4 cup ground flax seed and 1/4 cup sunflower seed. It is soooo good! My husband says they're perfect. Thanks for this recipe!
Great tip!
I used coconut oil instead of butter and it's a amazing recipe! i made it without the almonds and put in some PB dates and cranberries
They are really good! My husband was eating those garbagey chemical bars like NutriGrain and Fiber Plus. Now he says he is actually full after eating one and says they are absolutely delicious!
These look great 👍
Going to send my son off to college with these .. how would you store these, and how long will they keep?
Thanks 😀
Gonna try this weekend...how ever I must caution you to use organic honey from a local supplier ...as store bought honey is nasty stuff.mostly corn fructose .cheers.
I'm looking for recipes for healthy things to pack for our kids for school lunches this year and I'm going to give this recipe a try! Thank you so much!
I just made my grocery list, and always wanted to make granola bars . my favorite cereal is honey nut cheerios, and I'm trying a new one honey bunches of oats. I have everything but the chocolate chips. I do monthly activities with my niece's nine year old son, and I am a retired day care worker. he's picky at certain things. but loves doing easy kids cooking with me.😊 .Thanks 🍊🍉🍈🍇🥐🥨🍕🍞
looks good, but maybe too much sugar, aunty
Thank you for sharing. I am definitely going to make these. So great, and none of the things you can’t pronounce that are in store bought.
These are my kids faves. Thanks for the update!
Our pleasure!
Just made these and they are the BEST granola bars ever!!!!! Thank you!!
I made this without any fruit and added 1/2 cup chunky natural peanut butter instead. Super tasty
I was looking for this! Thank you.
PERFECT!!! Thank you. I mainly wasn't sure how to toast the oats and nuts. NOW I DO!!!!
Nice!
YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH SERIOUSLY THIS RECIPE IS SO SIMPLE, FLEXIBLE AND AFFORDABLE NOW I HAVE SOMETHING TO BRING TO MY CAMPING TRIP!!!!!THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!! THIS HELPED ME ALOT!!!!
Can these be left at room temperature for storage or do you recommend keeping them refrigerated? Thanks!
Hi, if I cut dwn on the sugar/honey, will they still stick together, thank you
Hi, I cut down the sugar to 50%. It still bines well. Honey I remain the same.
Ma'am how do to wrap n store them? Should one use parchment paper or just cling wrap n then put in a box...thk you
Its completely up to you. You can cut them into bars with parchment paper or put them in snack bags for those days on the go.
@@inspiredtaste thk you
I just made these again. I’ve made them so many times I can’t keep track. They are a huge hit at the office. I just wanted to thank you for sharing such a simple and delicious recipe. ❤
PS I used peanut butter chips to switch it up at times and offer two delicious options!
Glad you like them!
This was super yummy added snickers, Reese’s, dark chocolate, and many other ones using this recipe!!!
Oh wow!
I just made your bars and they are the most delicious bars that I ever tried, you have a new subscriber
Thanks for the recipe, very thorough explination
Our pleasure 😊
Very good recipe! 🎉
Great recipe! Thank you. Maybe it would be healthier to add honey after the binding mixture is cooled down to under 40°C.
You can try it. I do think that the light simmer of the sugar and honey helps keep them sticky in the end, but it is definitely worth a try!
Can these be kept outside the fridge and for how long? Thanks
Yes i love this recipe will sure try this thank you for sharing❤❤
Hope you enjoy
Can anyone recommend substitutions that won't make the bars fall apart? Butter and Sugar?
Wonderful 💐❤️
Thank you so much this recipe it’s very good so I love it I love your truly so much this cookie it’s so healthy I eat it every single day feel when I like to eat at night morning afternoons anytime so delicious
Looks delicious but wondering if it will be too sweet for my/my wife's taste or if it is distributed enough to not really be that much per bar. Can we simply add less sugar or will this affect the texture/ability of the bars to stay together? Also is that salted or unsalted butter?
Thanks for the great video!
Would these be good to send in the mail as a gift. Would they hold up ?
Made these today and it was my first time making granola bars at home. This is the BEST granola bars I've ever eaten. Never buying granola bars again. Thanks ❤
Wonderful! So happy to hear!
Can you use normal oats,is honey and oil necessary

Our pleasure 😊

Thank you!
This is great! Thank you so much!
You're so welcome!
I’m making these but adding a half ounce of decarbed cannabis that is ground to a fine powder .
That sounds great 💙 💛 💙
Not healthy bars as they contain honey and brown sugar, I replacd those, but they are tasty and quick to make. Thanks.
omitting the sugar thanks :)
Keep in Fridge?? Can you use them like regular granola bars and take on hikes etc without them falling apart? Thx!
Thank you foe sharing i must try this recipe❤❤
Please keep us updates on your thoughts when you do make it ❤❤
Can you freeze these once they're done? Thinking double batch and freeze one batch 👌🏻
Did you ever try freezing them? I’m also curious!
mine came out hard and stiff I used maple syrup instead maybe that's why. I wonder how I can fix this and make it soft again
Wow I'm gonna give this a try sometime.
How much time it stored?
Looks Delicious.
I will make more than the store can produce and make them go out of business
I was with you up until you added the chocolate. I guess you can just leave that out though.
Loved the video, and that look at 01:27
Nice 🎉
Thinking of making this w/ almonds and dried cherries (good foods for sleeping) as a bedtime replacement for melatonin supplements... I wonder if it'll be more cost effective 🤔
i just love u
Thank you!
Is it good to cook honey though? I thought cooking honey is highly discouraged.
You can its a natural sweetener
Love it! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you very much for this recipe! May God's Blessings be with you and your family in Jesus' Holy Name, AMEN!!!
You're welcome

Nice!
cant wait to try it.
I made this, I added Dates, pumpkin seeds, pistachio, and I only put chocolate chips on top. It is delicious, thanks. 😊
Sounds great! Your welcome
Trying this asap. Looks good and healthy
What if we don't have vanilla extract and brown sugar? Is there going to be a difference?
We haven't tested it. It wouldn't be as sweet. Let us know how it turns out if you try it.
butter?
Should i let the melted ingredients cook before adding chocolate bits?
We allow the other ingredients to cool, and then add the chocolate.
To much sugar not healthy
Fell free to adjust to your preference.
The best recipe I’ve tried !!
How many calories in one bar?
Forget dry granola bars, these look delicious
We agree!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
how many do you eat a day....? I miiiiiight eat a bunch...
Haha! We completely understand the feeling.
Can I make this a day ahead of time?
Did you cut in half, then each half into 6 rectangles?
yep
Hi, can I use syrup instead of honey?
Of course!
❤❤💯
thank you for writing eu measures
You're welcome 😊 All recipe will be on our website.
🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐🖐❤
Could you do this with quick oats ?
She said you can use quick oats as well in the video
Thank you!!
a beautiful receipe and a very beautiful chef❤
Thanks! 😃
Is the brown sugar a must in this recipe? Or the amount?
You might be able to reduce it slightly, but the sugar helps to keep the bars together.
@@inspiredtaste thankyou!
Perfect she is the best 🎃❤
I have heard one must never heat honey. Not sure if its true. Thanks for the recipe!
Hmm, I'm guessing that this is to keep all of the nutrients intact since heat might affect them. We aren't too concerned with that, but you can try to substitute the honey with brown rice syrup if you are worried.
@@inspiredtaste thank u so much :)
@@kirtiagrawal9453 it is actually true never heat honey u can die it looses its properties when its heated
Brown Sugar and Honey are not vegan. Do you happen to have a alternative that you have tried. Tha ks kindly
Hi there, We have not tried anything else, but vegan-friendly cane or coconut sugar and brown rice syrup would be my first try. When reading through substitutions from commenters on the blog, some people have had success using maple syrup instead of the honey. Hope that helps!
how is brown sugar not vegan
@@uhm.okay. some people are just stupid
Looks yummy❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤❤
👍🏻
Great snack
So good
Awesome
Lovely
❤
Music is killing me while trying to listen to you. I've never been able to understand people with music playing, always hated bars for this exact reason . Like I'm the only one having trouble, asking "what!" a million times.
UNHEALTHY WITH ALL THAT BUTTER
