- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 4 มิ.ย. 2024
- These homemade No-Bake Oat Bars / Granola Bars are an easy, healthier alternative to store-bought granola bars, customized with my favourite ingredients that are both natural and nutritious.
I much prefer making my own homemade oatmeal bars because I can control exactly what I'm putting into them, without any of the artificial additives that store-bought bars often have.
They're deliciously addictive, filling, energizing, and packed with nutrition - making them perfect for breakfast or a mid-day snack whenever you need an energy boost.
They're also perfect for meal prep because of just how incredibly easy they are to make - with no baking or equipment required.
Today, I'll show you how to easily make 4 of my favourite go-to recipes for these no-bake oat bars.

I love that you always show a variety of options, and with this recipe I'm going to try the Chocolate coconut protein bars first. Thanks for all the great recipes!
@connie6410 Thank you for watching! I'm glad you're enjoying the different variations, and hope you enjoy giving them all a try!
Do you have the macros for these bars?
I'm a 71 year old widow and made the peanut butter bars yesterday. I added a few milk chocolate chips and they were amazing for breakfast with a nice cup of coffee 😋 it kept me full all day! I will definitely be making these again!! Think I'll add some cinnamon next time and cut into smaller squares. What a great recipe, thank you for sharing these recipes. God bless you and your family👑🙏✝️💞🐾🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
That's wonderful to hear! Thank you so much for sharing and for giving these a try - I'm so glad that you enjoyed them so much!
This week I was at the health food store and saw they had some oat bars and as god is my witness I was driving home from work today thinking "I'm going to try and recreate those!" But first I logged on and saw this. I got a few ideas. Definitely going to add some puffed rice and use some coconut oil. Also my hack for no bakes is I use a silicone muffin pan so I just pop out individual pieces with no cutting. Thanks for the inspiration!
That's awesome! For sure - the puffed rice helps make it less dense, a bit lighter, more airy and crunchy; while the coconut oil helps bind all the different ingredients together, which is helpful when using different types of ingredients with different textures. Great call on the silicone muffin pan! That's a great time saver 😀 Thanks so much for watching!
I'm a 72 old guy. I'm going to try to make these, I don't like cooking or doing dishes. This should cut down on both. And if they tast good, that will be a bonus. Thanks
Love these recipes! I have a soy allergy so processed food is OUT! Thank you for posting these great recipes!
Love the silicone muffin pan idea. I got some silicone molds that are bar shaped on Amazon. They are deeper than the size of a granola bar but I just fill them half way.
A suggestion: toast the oats in a pan on the stove on low until golden before adding. It gives it a nuttier taste. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for sharing that tip!
I toast the oats, coconut and the sesame seeds.
And when I don't have honey, I always have dried dates and prunes, which I soften on the stove top, almost the same consistency as honey.
I made the protein oat bars, didn't have all the ingredients but used olive oil instead of coconut, normal milk, and chocolate flavoured whey. Incredibly easy to make, didn't take me long and I'm not experienced with this stuff. Most of all, after a few hours I had the best protein bars I've ever had, absolutely delicious, soft and very filling, unlike shop protein bars, and also clean of anything unnatural. I can't thank you enough for this recipe.
Amazing to hear! Thank you so much for sharing and for watching - I'm so glad they turned out so well for you! 😀
i did the same thing, but with vanilla protein powder and they turned out a-mazing. Can’t recommend them enough- will be regularly making them from now on.
@@basicballing7269 I'll give that a go, thanks. They're my go to snack now, I love them!
FYI- Used coconut oil on the second batch, they do stick together better and it adds to the flavour, I make them almost weekly now. The flapjack one is crazy easy, my kids love it and make it almost on their own.
These are super easy to make and you can customize how you like them…can’t eat peanut butter? Use almond or cashew or tahini. I had puffed quinoa and added that too. Use different dried fruits. The combos are endless. Very good recipe, thanks!
You got it! They're so easily customizable that you can literally use up almost anything you have at home in your kitchen or pantry. It's perfect for adapting to different dietary needs as well! Thanks so much for watching!
Just made the classic oat bar. It was nice and easy. I'm going to leave it in the fridge overnight. Thank you very much. I bought a quest protein bar yesterday afternoon, it was expensive and not very nice. It tasted artificial. I'm so glad I came across your channel. I can't wait to pack my oat bar in my lunch box for work. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the comment! I totally agree about the store-bought bars, especially protein bars. Often there are so many additives to them that make them taste a little off, or even worse, just unpaletable. I always prefer making my own, whenever I can as an alternative to store-bought bars - that way I can control what I put into them. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing!
These look great! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

We loved your overnight oats, we've been having them almost every morning and absolutely love them. Now I'd love to try these!
Thanks, your recipes are gems: they involve all available ingredients and they are so versatile. Also, I really like that they are more on a healthier side but I can still take a bit of chocolate or other yummies to add to the base, not even nearly a strict starvation diet but quite balanced.
Thanks so much for the comment! @@toastyapron You are so welcome.
Wow! Saw this post this morning and made a mash up of the trail bar and crunchy oat bar. Left in fridge for 5 hours and they are AMAZING. So careful with my diet , do intermittent fasting so if I have a snack, I want to know exactly what’s in it.
Definitely recommend. Many thanks
That's amazing to hear! I honestly eat the trail mix bars the most out of these recipes - they're so easy to make and switch up each time with different types of nuts, seeds, dried fruits, whatever I have on-hand at the time that I'm looking to use up. Thanks so much for watching - I'm so glad they turned out so great for you!

I'm making the chocolate coconut bars as I write this! THANK YOU for posting the gram conversions for everything. It makes the process about 10x easier for me, especially given my physical disability, and I don't have to deal with the nightmare of sticky ingredients & measuring cups. Less cleanup too!
Absolutely! I'm glad you find the conversions helpful. Thanks so much for watching - I'd love to hear how the chocolate coconut bars turn out for you! 😀
@@toastyapron They turned out delicious and I find the texture really addictive- like easily the best texture of any oat/protein bar I've made or bought. I would not have thought to use hemp hearts or chia seeds, but I really liked the little crunch the chia seeds added, and I might even add an extra tbsp or two of hemp hearts the next time I make this! They even looked professional, despite being so easy to put together. I did share these with family members and some were not as fond of the coconut flavour that the coconut oil specifically adds (we're big fans of coconut flakes here, so it's likely not that), but I'm guessing I couldn't sub in a different oil because you need the saturated/solid at room temp quality the coconut oil brings? Thanks again for a banger of a recipe! I'm looking forward to making the crunchy oat bars next.
@LoveCrumb that's awesome to hear! I'm so glad they turned out great for you. As for subbing the coconut oil, you can also use melted butter which has a similar effect of binding the ingredients together. The taste may be more to your liking than the coconut oil!
@@toastyapron I'll make a note of that-thanks! Or maybe I'll just make 'em the usual way next time and keep them to myself hehe
Thanks🙏🥰
Thanks for watching!
These all look really good! Thanks for sharing. Would love to see your granola recipes if you haven’t already posted them 🫣👍🏼🫣

Really enjoy your videos and recipes. Is there a place where they are available in a PDF?

I WILL NO LONGER BUY A SINGLE OAT BAR.
THESE LOOK SUPER DELICIOUS & EASY TO MAKE, BONUS ALL ROUND.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for watching!
Ohhhh my fluff, these look so delicious, I can't wait to try them. Question: I'm a 71 year old widow, should I be using protein powder at my age? If so, what kind? All the ones I see are very confusing figure what I should be using. Thank you and God bless you 👑🙏💞✝️🐾🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
Hey there! Unfortunately I can't advise on whether you should be using protein powder, but I'd suggest asking your doctor or speaking with a dietitian to see what works best for you - they'll be much better able to advise you on that than me 😀 I appreciate the comment though and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Love these ideas, cant wait to try the base nut bar, but can I substitute olive oil for the coconut oil my husband and kids are allergic to coconut. Their food allergy makes healthy options difficult sometimes.
Hey there! You can substitute unsalted butter in place of coconut oil - it has a similar binding effect :) hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Yummie
Thanks for watching!
Love his voice. There's something so happy and innocent about the Canadian tone. These bars look fantastic too!!!
Haha I appreciate that! Far from innocent, but certainly happy 😀 thanks for watching!
These look so easy to make and delicious!
If I don't have coconut oil on hand, is any other kind of cooking oil okay? :)
Hi there! Yes you can use vegetable oil, olive oil, or butter as well. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Thank you #SaveSoil #Consciousplanet
TA, honestly ...! You're a bloody dangerous man ! [grin]
You keep gifting us these utterly YUMMY things that make me want to rush off and make them immediately, regardless of the time of day - but I must, first, run them through my WW 'create' area to check how many points they are. And if they turn out to be too many, I shall bust out crying, and it'll be your fault ! 😂
Haha! I'm glad the videos are inspiring you to give them a try! I will say, they taste even better than they look 😀 so I hope the points work out in your favour! Cheers and thanks again for watching!
Hello! How do you store these? In the fridge?
If someone has nut allergies do you think using chopped seeds would affect them in the same way??
I want to make a load of oatmeal snack bars for a party, I don't want to use peanut butter because I don't know who has nut allergies so I'll most probably use bananas instead to hold everything together, but I do plan on putting in chocolate chips and dried cranberries so using chopped seeds would be a great idea and I also have mulled hemp seeds too- what do you think?
And I i just realized - im going to add in chopped pretzels too!!😋
Oh yeah- and im subscribing! 🤩🤗🩷🍪🌹
❤❤❤
Great channel love your videos but it would be better without music👍🏼
Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
What can you substitute for coconut flakes and oil? I'm not a fan, so I'm wondering what to substitute.
Hey there! Instead of coconut oil, you can feel free to use butter as binding agent as well. And instead of coconut flakes, feel free to add whatever kinds of toppings you prefer (seeds, crushed nuts, etc.) Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks so much for the support!
I have a quick question...I am trying to consume lower amounts of cards for a bit...I assume these are not low carb bars right?..They look soooo good!!!
Hi there! Yeah, these are not considered to be low carb bars, but that's a fantastic idea for a future video! Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I bought an oat bar today because I didn't get a chance to have my usual breakfast of oats in the morning (it really helps my milk supply as a breastfeeding momma). I figured, this would be great to have a stash of and looked for a recipe and here I am. Question though, if I didn't want to add peanut butter, what could be a substitute?
Sunflower seed butter, almond butter, pumpkin seed butter, etc.
@@Tmh-523 awesome, thank you~
I agree with @Tmh-523 - almond or cashew butter work great as well, while seed butters such as sunflower seed butter or pumpkin seed butter are great substitutes for those with nut allergies.
I don't like peanut butter is there anything else I can make it thank you
