      Your channel is very informative, Ross
      I am moving to Guernsey for work from 1 July and have learned a lot from watching your channel on TH-cam. I was over for Easter and rented an e-bike and got a good feel for the place and recognized quite a lot from watching your walk and drive arounds. Been in a few of the pubs featured 😂. Went over to Herm for the day which was excellent. Shout out to BW Hotel de Havelet and Copenhagen restaurant - well worth a visit. Keep the vids coming as I really enjoy seeing all the different places on the island and I was even ready for the filter in turn system, thanks to you 😊

    The term 'poop deck' is American and it means boat deck. The RMS Titanic had a poop deck which was near A deck. It was the part of the ship where the lifeboats were stationed.

    Great video of town, I used to live and work in Guernsey years ago, many happy memories of family and friends visiting us whilst living there, thanks for all the videos you’ve done.

    Hi Ross, I’m loving all of your videos, mate, and I’ve booked a holiday for July so my mum can visit this lovely island for the last time. Having a look at your videos/the best fish and chips series in particular, I was wondering if you could tell me where I can find the BEST white crab meat sandwich/the best white crab? No worries if not and keep up the great work! 🧡🧡🧡

    Very nice walk in the heart of town. Although my last visit was back in 2012 I still do recognize most of it (and miss it, hope to be back next year or so). Thanks Ross for that lovely short trip to St Peter Port! 🙂

    Hi, yes very nice! Thanks, in particular for the marinas. I wonder whats going on Arcade coming into High Street on the right (work in progress)? Used to be jewellers (with all the top watch brands, Rolex ect).

    • @stevenr2463
      @stevenr2463 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe its Arcade (what I mean) - coming from Dix Neuf

      Anyway its very sad to see all the empty shops. I remember when my now wife, then new girlfriend first came to the island 1983 she loved all the pretty shops in town! And she came from Berlin.

    Guernsey would be so much better without cars. I hate cars. ,

    Another great video. Do they still have the Ambulance Launch moored in the harbour that goes out to the islands?

    Excellent work as normal Ross - have you considered put together a show "reel" for the "Locate Guernsey" people? - they are having a business show in London on the 3rd of October.
    Your images would sell the island far more convincingly than "some other" sources !

    What a wonderful walk Ross. So nice to visit home - nothing very much has changed - thank you. Before the cruise ships arrive could you show more of the place where they arrive in the tenders - I think it was close to where you were early in the video. Last time we were home they got off right in the harbour near the mailboat dock - a long walk for visitors to get into town..
