Love watching your videos. I lived from 2016-2019 and these videos really make me happy, and miss Guernsey so much. Didn't realise how much. Will be back soon I hope (have to at one point as all my possessions are in storage there!)

Thanks Ross - almost like being there. Is Rihoy's the only Island builder, they seem to be everywhere. My father worked for them back in the late 40s early 50s - Alf Lorcet. Good to see town so busy - surprising what a day of warmer weather can do!

Might be worth mentioning that there are not only quirky little shops selling I dont know, but also expensive shops with bling bling brands for wealthy people who live in Guernsey by the plenty.

@@martinw245 You could be right and maybe I'm overstepping the mark.
But on the mainland, restaurants have been punished and had their licences confiscated for touting. Once a few restaurants do it, you can't walk down the street without being harassed.
One of the issues surrounding touting is female safety. It's rude, aggressive, and it isn't the English way. I want to be able to peruse and choose where I want to eat.
But these people never respect their host cultures or care to learn about them.
This is a bad sign for Guernsey seeing this restaurant there, and I hope it doesn't increase. The mainland is all but gone now, in case you aren't paying attention to the news...
