I am planning to move to Guernsey early June, and I have heard about high food prices. Could be better to ship stuff from UK as Royalmail offers 20kgs parcel for only £15.LOL Thanks for sharing your experience of Guernsey.
I moved in guernsey to work and I love it.. work life balance is good , stress free, higher rate which I cannot get in uk..flat tax rate 20%..low crime
There is no racism in Guernsey. If you are looking for a big city life, you won't find it in Guernsey. If you love the outdoors, nature, the sea & a community feel you will be in the right place. Just be friendly & people will be friendly back. Yes there are bad people as we as the mainly good you get everywhere. Good luck.
I feel like through watching your vlogs consistently you've taught me a lot about Guernsey it's crazy how I never even knew the place existed. Very insightful videos I proper enjoy your content all 💥 stuff 💫
Loved your comment on what the kids can do in Guernsey - ride their "mopeds" and go to the beach ... 🤣🤣Yes. Thats what we did. And out in boats or surfing. In the cold water. And we had a great time.👍👍
Sure, no McDonalds, no Burger King - a good thing - junk food. Several farmers’ markets selling all the fresh veg, meats, etc etc. A lot of info omitted here!
I'm from the uk and light skin black like yourself and have been to Guernsey multiple times its a beautiful peaceful stress free place to be and I love being in Guernsey and I have never once experienced any racism and as for people staring at you it's because you are a very attractive lady
could explain how did you move from guernsey because am between my employer is ready to give me sponsorship in london but lawyer said you’re immigration status stay unclear i have to exit the uk and apply from my home country
Depends where you live, you meet people at work obviously, but most of my social circle was formed out of work. I made friends from my self catering apartment from other occupants there and their friendship groups. I met the odd one or two folks from just travelling and moving around the island.
Since brexit Guernsey is getting more people from the commonwealth countries. It is good to see more people from Jamaica, Gambia, Kenya. Not many but it is an improvement on a few years ago.
If I missed anything guys that your curious about, that I didn’t touch on. Drop me a comment & I’ll do my best to answer. ❤
I'm moving there soon with my family from London. Im nervous but excited
You will be just fine, very chilled place ☺️
