    Thank you for the very detailed review, you answered almost every single question I had prior to buying them on Amazon, having been really disappointed at first with Corsair Virtuoso very recently. This video helped a lot and i will look forward to seeing more detailed video from you in the future !!!.

      I also bought the corsair virtuoso se and was stunned by how bad they were. Not only in sound but comfort. The only thing you buy on that headset is build quality , they'll never break but sound terrible. Anyways I wanted a headset that could do great with music and gaming and it looks like ill hit the jackpot with the 770's 80 ohm paired with the Scarlet Solo. Just waiting for them to come now. I have watched most reviews on this headset and nobody really talked about this for gaming so its nice to know they'll perform nicely in that area.

I literally thought I wasted my money and had to buy an amplifier to be able to plug in those headphones but didn't realise there was an extra adapter screwed around the normal adapter you'd use for laptops when you mentioned the adapter for studio equipment. I decided to invest on my gaming audio relatively recently, before 4 or 5 years. The first thing I bought were the 770s 80ohm, to use them on my phone. The next thing I bought was the creative SXFi amp. The main reason was to be able to drive those headphones easier when used on my phone, the XFi engine was for me just an added bonus, it works better with some songs than others. Then I decided to mod my 770s and add a detachable cable. So my music listening department was ready.
    Now is the time to up my gaming sound. I have a decent pair of Sound blaster X H6, they are good, but they broke. So instead of buying the very nice Creative Zen Hybrid Pro XFi, decided to use my music equipment. But what about the microphone? I bought the Beyerdynamic Custom Headset Gear 918040. My detachable gaming mod makes its use perfectly easy. So now I have perfectly versatile, very capable set, although a little on the expensive side.

    I do have to say having separate headphone and mic is the way to go. The reason is because what's the first thing to go in a headset the microphone rendering the headset rather pointless to have. I say this because headsets aren't all that great cause they aren't designed for exceptional audio. This is why you should instead get a decent microphone and put some decent cash into good quality headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro or what I have which are Sennheiser HD558. I will say this though I love having the ability to change the cable out in my Sennheiser because that cable tends to go out from time to time so just a quick order of a cable take out the broken one put the new one in and it's back to working properly. I've had these headphones easily for 5 years or so now and I've had to change the cable 3 times so instead of having to buy 3 new headphones I just had to get 3 new cables which is a fraction of the cost but this is my thoughts and my experience. Anyway I hope this helps anyone out there that are just getting sick of broken mics on headsets and want a better solution cause it's been well worth it in my experience.

      I personally still main the dt770 pros and a rode procaster however I see the value in a headset which is why I love reviewing them I love seeing the software innovations and the fun things they do with the headsets but I do agree I've yet to find a combo that truly beats out the studio headphone/mic combo

    Thank you🤩 You did a great job! I gave a Thumbs Up and Subscribed. And Damn the Thumb I Tapped on, Exploded 🤩😂🤣 But Seriously, Neodymium itself is a "Rare Earth" Metal, mostly found in China!🤩 But Neodymium Magnet, is an alloy = Neodymium + Iron + Boron . After the alloy is made (man-made), it's Plated with Nickel, Chrome, Zinc etc.to keep it from Oxidizing. Neodymium Magnets are the Strongest of all Permanent Magnets. Finally, these Strongest of magnets make a Mean Speaker, and Headphones are basically 2 Special Small "Speakers"!! And you probably already know that, Speakers are basically Reverse Microphones!! So if you plug a headphone into the microphone jack of a PC or Sound System, and Speak into one side, it indeed, works like a Crude Microphone 😀

    And if you recommend getting a dac or amp, then which to get cheaply - but worth it?

    • @IAmVehement
      @IAmVehement  ปีที่แล้ว

      Color means it effects the sound signature like some audiophile type people will intentionally chase down certain dac/amps or like tube amps cause it'll add lower end sound curve or like a more open feel to the sound but what I'm saying is the dac may not be great on the TV so it could be altered with slight noise (static or fuzz) maybe a slight tint of bass it could even be muffled but I don't think you'll notice any of it however alot of laptop or computer motherboard dacs sound terrible

    I think your video may be why my order is going to take 3 weeks! lol
    Just for your viewers, the 32 and 250 versions are similar in sound. The 80 version are very flat and better for mixing/editing etc.
    32 for low powered devices. 250 for amps and 80 for a studio environment.
    IMO - Go 32 770 for Laptop, Mobile, PC. However, if you want stupendous sound and have an amp, go 770 250 ohm, or even consider the 990 250ohm version...you'll hear a pin drop in the adjacent building.
