I own a 2020 STI. If I install a Cobb Access Port do I need to get a tune? I like the Access Port just for informational purposes. I don't want to tune my STI. A great video brother. Stay safe.
A question I've had about the access port that I haven't seen mentioned. Can I scan codes or run gauges without having to flash the ECU/ECM? I'd like to get this and be able to use it before I get around to actually flashing the ECU/ECM.
What do you think about running an ETS intake. I've heard it affects DAM with the accessport and runs lean? Also do you think the ETS intake may do the same on stock tune? I've noticed way less pops now with my ETS catback.
Per our tuner: "It doesn’t run lean it has a larger correction but the front o2 will fix it on an OTS maps. The best theory is that the MAF being misscaled causes momentary lean spots likely dropping the DAM via misfires. The car is within 1% target fuel WOT ETS intake or stock. Cruising correction isn’t that big of a deal." In short, better off with Stage 1 tune. However either you should be fine.

Your wrx with the red lip kit looks so good! My ceramic white limited comes in a couple weeks, might have to go with the red lip lol

You will need to flash either stage 1 or stage 0(stock) in order to use it - which means dealer will know that your ECU has been modified.

You can flash a base map/stock map but a flash is needed unfortunately.

Factory CVT will not be supported by Cobb per our latest conversation so currently there will be no tuning solutions.
Yeah I have a SPT in my Wife’s WRX GT waiting for the software release. It will come out eventually.

Yes. However, subaru can tell you ECU has been flashed before.
