Don’t know how you came across the 2022 WRX SeatBelt Chime but this is legit! 100grand my man, thank you for the disclaimer doe tho! Bajaja!! Legit works like a charm!!
You missed the biggest Easter Egg of them all, the gas cap holder on the fuel door. _(the thing that less than 10% of the population even knows exists)_
Anyone struggling with disabling the seatbelt chim as much as me, just make sure you're doing it with the car off, then immediately turning it on. My first try this way it worked. My 45 other tries didn't.
I've heard that by holding down the traction control button for 10 seconds will put the car in "track mode" or is that only in the TR trim level? Can you confirm? Thank you!
Finally, Rule 34 for "man in bunny suit assaults seat belt clip in 2022 WRX" is fulfilled! 😂 Great video - definitely some Easter Eggs I'd never heard of!
hey i just wonder does the 2022 wrx got a hill assist for manuals ? sometimes i see a hill light on my car is that the hill assist mode ? can you help me verify that ive been checking the booklet i dont seem to be able to find it thanks
@@DarkMoneyX17 It's on by default I just tested it today. you only have a second or 2 to use it before it disengages. Around here I still need the handbrake because drivers are on your bumper. I didn't know I had this.

Awesome! I saw a VB a few weeks ago idling when the guy went inside the store. I wasn't in my VB, but I did wonder if there is a way to keep the car idling while the doors are locked (without doing the process of unlocking the door with the key first) or is that the only way?
You can lock the doors with the engine running by pressing the button on the drivers door then closing the door with the handle pulled... however, the key fob buttons will NOT be able to open the doors again, and you can only use the emergency key to open the door. Seems key fob is disabled while the engine is running.
Can someone tell me what the camera is behind the rear view mirror is for? Manuals don’t have eyesight, my 22 has the same camera, what’s it for?? At least it looks like a camera
7:51 Subaru was going to build the STI but I’m guessing Toyota pressured them into canceling it due to the GR Corolla launch, the two announcements were too close together to ignore
It’s was due to the new current presidency requiring a higher family mpg starting next year compare to the last. Subaru thought the new sti mpg would of set the family mpg off to much for it to be approved my the gov.
MAYBE IM DOING SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SEATBELT SEQUENCE..MY BUDDY GOT FIRST TRY ON HIS VB..IM NOT SURE IF I NEED TO DO IT IMMEDIATELY AFTER PRESSING THE IGNITION BUTTON ONCE OR TWICE !?? IVE TRIED BOTH WAYS BUT GUESS IVE GOT TO GIVE IT ANOTHER SHOT OR HAVE MY FRIEND SHOW ME HOW HE DID IT.
The procedure is outlined in the manual; after you enter the code the second time, the locks should open and close. The manual suggests you have to then press the lock button on the key within 30 second to save the code... the manual is a bit confusing.
Subaru will still release an sti... especially with the bad sales. they have repeatedly said that they have no need to change their business models since their cars sell anyways... their US sales have declined a ton especially on the new wrx model. Money talks. the STI will return in their little big refresh they do halfway through every models lifecycle... it would need an eturbo like the euros have to meet EPA standards though since that is the only reason I don't see an STI model being developed(the base being at 2.4L I don't see more displacement as an option for an sti). At the very least the GT edition will be offered in standard eventually.
The seatbelt thing doesn't really work. The best solution is to short circuit the wires going to the seatbelt clip. Use your phone to lock/unlock the car.
# 23 ~ It's two seconds *slower* 0-60mph. than the old version! Nope! Not sarcasm. 2021 with CVT does it in 3.9 seconds. 2022 with CVT does it in 5.9 seconds! (CVTs were used to keep the comparison fair and accurate.) Yes, Subaru gave us a _slower_ WRX! Happy Easter. 🐇😠
the 20x finger blasting the seat belt at first had me thinking this was all a joke, but pleasantly surprised haha

Ok, that trunk code is possibly one of the best things short of Ford style code panel on the driver door.
I’m definitely doing the sleep mode on my seat belt chime when I get off work.
I did it and it’s so awesome. That chime was way too aggressive!
