    Welcome back sweet friends and family. Just in case you’re new, I’m Dr. Erika and I share what I eat in a day OMAD vlogs. I’ve been a daily intermittent faster since June 2018. I’ve lost and kept off 60lbs for 3 years now. I also exercise everyday. I’d love for you to join me on this journey as I share my story.

    This definitely has inspired me. I was just about to give up with losing weight. I lose 20 i gain 20 back i lose 40 and 45 comes back. Its so discouraging but u just made me start again. You looked amazing for the wedding and your Mom was gorgeous as well

    I totally agree with working out 1st thing in the morning! It’s a great way to start the day off with doing something just for yourself and a great way to make sure you get that workout in. Years ago, I used to workout at Rivera Fitness after I got off of work. When I started going to Planet Fitness, going in the afternoons would be so crowded! I started going in the mornings and loved it because it was hardly anyone there, and I didn’t have to compete with others for my favorite machines 😂 As always, thanks for sharing your week with us! Your meals always look delicious. I need to research that meatloaf recipe!

    Hi, new subbie here! Do you only do OMAD fasting or occasionally rotate it in with 16:8? Have/can you shared the recipe to your apple pie oatmeal? It looks so delicious!!!!

      Hey sweet friend! Welcome to the family. I’ve been a daily intermittent faster since June 2018. I have tried various protocols staring with 16:8 all the way to extended fasting. I have been OMAD for almost 3 years straight now (with the exception of some months of ADF). OMAD is my sweet spot. (I tend to overeat on 16:8) 😊

    Quick question? Since you only have 1 meal per day. Is that enough calories to sustain you per day. How many calories in your 1 meal? It seems like not enough. Just wondering.

      Great question! Yes it’s enough. I consume all of them in a small time frame. It’s usually between 1500-1800 calories 😊 (Sometimes more LOL)

      Thanks you!! Yes…EVERYDAY! On vacation I’m able to get a walk in before everyone wakes up LOL. Sometimes there’s a treadmill available or I’ll walk outside. I also pack my resistance bands 😊

    How do you drink your black coffee? I’m trying to incorporate that in the morning since I’m a regular coffee drinker but obviously I typically use creamer.

      I put one or two ice cubes in it. I like it warm. It’s soothing.

    I started at 252, down to 234...but I need to start working out....I feel lighter and healthier...but I just don't feel like I have the energy yet.....😢😢😢😢

    Are you on the treadmill for an hour or are you doing anything else. Also, did you always do OMAD throughout your journey? Has enough calories, iron and protein ever been an issue?

      Yes. I do an hour of cardio then I’ll do a few minutes of dumbbells or resistance bands. I’ve done various fasting protocols starting with 16:8 all the way to rolling extended fasts. OMAD is just my sweet spot/maintenance. Calories, iron, and protein have never been an issue. I had numbers/labs checked in May (have it done yearly). I hope this helps 😊
