    I love seeing regular people talk about eating. I'm used to following bodybuilders, but I want to be a regular person now and your videos help me with that. Thank you.

    I like how you are a believer and practicing taking care of your temple with self control. I m an intermittent faster and ive gone from 16 hour fast to close to 19 hours fasts. I went from 202lbs in August to now 192lbs in 4 months. The scale doesnt show so much but my body does!
    I eat low carbs or high carbs.. I even eat about 6 pieces of Hershey kisses at one sitting and I'm good. I drink lots of hibiscus amd raspberry tea which lowers blood pressure just in case.. But ive notice the tea gives me a flatter stomach. One day ill be right where you are..
    I simply dont hunger anymore.. Sometimes I need to force myself to eat lol.

    I've been doing omad for a year now. Lost 85 pounds. 2 shirt sizes. No more high blood pressure. You need to balance what you eat. Like for example... last night for my 1 meal, i had sausages peppers and onions over white rice. A side salad with chicken with balsamic vinegar. Handful of mixed nuts and 2 sliced apples. I was comfortably full after. Tonight I'm having ground beef with 2 over easy eggs on top. Side salad. Sliced avacado and a banana. Getting all the protein and nutrients all in one meal.

    This was excellent advice. I kind of fell into OMAD by mistake and took a couple of weeks to find what works for me. I have lost 55lbs in 16 weeks and now I am really into it I very rarely feel hungry between meal but this advice has made me realise there are times I am probably not eating enough. Good luck everyone, this really does work so get your mind right on this and go for it and the results are a great motivation from week to week.

    I just stated doing OMAD a week ago. I had been doing the 16-8 intermittent fasting for years before I finally gathered up the courage and switched to OMAD. Now, I eat around 2 :30 pm each day, and that's it . I am 1.83 meters tall ( 6 feet tall ) and weigh 77 kgs ( 170 pounds ) so I am pretty skinny but fit as I hit the gym 6 times a week except Sundays. ( Sundays the gym is closed where I live ) so I am not doing OMAD for losing weight but for other reasons such as convenience of it, being healthier , adopting to minimalistic life style, stable mood and releasing brain energy that I used to use to decide what to eat for breakfast and dinner each day. So far, the results have been great, especially the mental clarity and sharpness have definitely improved, plus my mood is more stable now. The only concern I have is the potential calorie deficit that OMAD may cause due to the fact that I hit the gym every single day, so exercise takes up 90 minutes of my day each day.. I guess it is too early to tell, so I am going to push through and try this experiment longer to get a good grasp of how my body handles the new eating system.. I believe this will be a life changer if it works and if I can implement this into my daily life..

    Thanks for the helpful video, I've experimented with different OMAD meals and the one that works for me is a good mix of fat, carbs and protein. For the last three weeks I've had the same meal of basmati rice with paprika, homemade greek salad and chicken kabobs and a small tub of dairy free yoghurt and have energy and only feel mildly hungry in between.

    What i noticed about my self is that i use food as some kind of reward. Reward when the day was stressful, reward when i accomplished something hard, reward after a hard work day, reward after a confrontation with ppl, even a reward for feeling bored ....
    So for me it is hard to get out of this mindset, to stop seeing food as a reward.
    I guess it would help if i find something else to use as a reward that is not food.
    But i still dont know what that could be...
    Anyone else with similar views on food?
    What would u suggest?
    This is why Omad is so hard for me, not because of the hunger but because it is only once a day rewarding my self :(
    Ty for all your videos, i watch them regularly and they are very motivating, if i only had stronger will....

      I eat at 5.30pm daily. I have tried to reduce my tea/sugar intake daily but I still have about 6/7 cups a day. Once a week I have a chocolate bar in the evening with my tea as a treat. I love those dairy milk snowballs! Amazing!

    How do you make sure that you’re eating enough so that your body doesn’t go into “starvation mode”? Also, what about eating enough to make sure that you’re getting all of the essential vitamins and nutrients? That’s my biggest fear about OMAD.

    • @Pink-mandarina

      My opinion is , when I see my weight , I think that I have some supplies of. Vitamins and nutrients. I can easily fast and be quiet about it.

    • @sunflowermama4297
      @sunflowermama4297 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Pink-mandarina well, not necessarily. There are a lot of heavy people that are nutrient deficient. Aside from nutrients, many nutritionists will say that sometimes our metabolisms slow down when our bodies have too little calories and mistake this for “famine”, which slows down the weight loss. So I was wondering how that fits into someone wanting a long term fasting lifestyle.

    • @kimbers1238
      @kimbers1238 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's what I was thinking. Or what to do to get the minerals and vitamins that we need daily.

    • @Pink-mandarina
      @Pink-mandarina 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@sunflowermama4297 i understand your point of view. But if we speak about health, the worst actually is overweight. So, for me, the priority is to lose weight firstly. On the other hand, if you have a balance meal ( proteins carbs good fat) daily with veggies and fruits , meat, you can have a good nutrition in one take ( OMAD ) or you can take supplements if needed. Personnaly I take one scoop of whey proteins in my morning coffee and I feel full until my next meal. I don’t feel fatigue and I can walk 7000 steps 3 times / week and I lost weight. No offense.

      Your looking to get into “starvation mode” which is where your burning fat. As long as you don’t feel painfully hungry in the fasting window and your losing weight, you are burning fat.

    Losing weight is a bad goal in itself. It is a symptom not a cause of bad health. The cause is carb intolerance, high insulin levels, inflammation, etc linked to bad health.
