Spoiler: You don't find out what paced bottle feeding is until 8 minutes into the video. The first 2/3rds of the video is just about how to feed a baby with a bottle.
Its not the upper lip. The GAPE reflex is elicited on the chin. Common mistake, but totally incorrect, made by so many who claim to know about lactation, but don't actually know about OT/SLP or neuromotor development. The pace, and responsive pace you are creating is also not really accurate. You would ideally respond to baby's natural pauses rather than artificially making your own pace. However I really applaud that you switch sides - this is great.
Hi i have a toddler she is still on breastfeeding I want to start the bottle I tried since she was 3 month she didn’t take it do u have any tip and trick she don’t take the glass milk even I feed her with spoon thats really tough
My 2.5 month old baby is rejecting bottle. He is EBF. Im using comotomo bottle for feeding breast milk but he chews the nipple, pushes away the bottle and cries. How can i make him take the bottle?
Hi Yini, First I thank you for the wonderful and informative video.. Its interesting and useful. My baby is 54 days old and poor in latching. I'm using nipple shield and pump as alternative. How to overcome this and when doinh this paced bottle feed, if baby cries in between should I feed her fast or what should I do.? Also how to make her to make breastfeed as the 1st choice. Please do suggest me with tips to overcome this. Thank you 🙏😊 May God bless you 🙏
From what I can tell, the point is to completely fill the tip of the nipple without having gravity play a role in how much comes out. I don't think there's as much air intake as you're imagining.
Hello gudafternoon, pls I am doing breastfeeding nd my nippers are so sour nd painful..when she want to latch on it....nd she stop taking bottles milk...what should I do?nd is it normal for ha not to pee always when on breastfeeding nd also poo all the time?pls u answer will be needed thanks alot
Hi mama! Consider working with a lactation consultant-IBCLC to improve positioning, latching, and to identify the root of the problem. Baby should be voiding and stooling frequently, this is normal and expected. All the best to you. You can book a virtual consult with me here: prenatalyini.as.me/

Hi! For toddlers, skip the bottle and try cup feeding.

Wouldnt the baby gulp a lot of air and consequently wind if we feed it with half-full nipple
