@ReneeGerber Are walkers actually bad for them? What is your stance on them? I’m just curious because I have a 6 month old and I am getting mixed reviews
It is indeed very bad I used walker with my elder son and he doesn’t have good balance and he walks only putting weight on him front part of the feet. We were not aware so with my second child who is 5 months old we are not using it.
Totally believe what you are pointing out here. Babies cannot express their discomfort so everyone does whatever they want. Thank you for your awareness and sharing your knowledge.
Interesting. In my country we are so much stricter. I would never put my baby in the jumper, walker or activity center. And especially would never use a baby seat. Not even a 10 minutes a day. All the physiotherapist in my country I’ve talked to are very strictly against practicing sitting. And I agree with that based on the research. It is interesting to see how it’s different in every country.
The same in Poland. The jumper, walker, etc. were used here in the past and were the cause of many malformations (at least according to the research I've read, and what's interesting - most of the research was done in USA :-) ). Sitting, as well as crawling or walking, should result from the natural developmental process, not placing the child in "helpers" that never simulate real conditions. My favorite phrase when it comes to parenting: be supportive, but most of all don't disturb! :-)
So true. And what about the baby carriers? Ergobaby and Babybjorn is so popular in America as far as I know. But it is overly expensive garbage that hurt babies. Elastic or woven wrap is much better for the first months. Baby carriers are also really good but it is necessary to follow basic rules (M position, C curved back, fabric from one knee to another, soft back and no firm neck collar).
I'm due tomorrow and I've been watching your videos almost my entire pregnancy. I'm so grateful for you and your videos because I can't afford a doula. You have helped me feel so confident and I'm really looking forward to my babies birth and my own birth as a mom! Thank you so much for your passion and willingness to share your knowledge.
She was with me the last month of my pregnancy and her breathing techniques helped me so much to have a very fast and unmedicated labour and to even enjoy the process. She does a wonderful job. I send you so much power and good energy for yours!
I wish I had found her sooner. What I DID learn from her before my baby came was priceless. This woman is totally in her element. And her postpartum meditation is so healing.
LOL everybody in the comments freaking out when there’s no reason to. My son is 7 months he’s sitting up by himself now and I hardly ever used his little chair thingy. Moms remember that being a parent doesn’t come with a handbook, it’s all ultimately up to you and baby. I know a ton of babies who used the things she’s said not too and they’re just fine! Just trust yourself and listen to your baby 💛
I always felt bad for not being able to afford any baby gear and walkers. Have raised 3 healthy boys. All started walking from 10 months on their own. They are now 5, 3 and 2.
For the nails, get an electric nail file! They have different heads for the age of baby, and don’t hurt at all. I got one for my baby, and have been using it since birth. My babe is 3 weeks now, and I use it twice a day since her nails grow so quickly. It is fast and easy to use, and I’ve not had any big issues with her scratching herself, and never put her in mittens.
Ok honest question here. My son is 3mo and I just started him facing outward in my Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier. It has straps to adjust to better support the angle of the legs, to better support the hips. My baby does not tolerate being carried facing inward, and does not tolerate being put down at all. He has been loving facing outward in the Ergobaby carrier and until I watched this video, I felt it was a God-send. Ergobaby says to face them out only when they have good head and neck control, which my baby does, and I trusted that this company cared about the ergonomic support for babies and their development. What am I missing, what am I getting wrong?
The only things I used for my daughter was educational toys from Monti Kids, which is a montessori program from age 0 to 2 years old. The Montessori Method addresses your child’s cognitive, physical, linguistic, social, and emotional development. I did not use walkers, seating trainings or any other products. She started to wear shoes only when she was walking fully on her own. For her physical body, I let everything happened naturally.
100% agree. We did the same for our daughter and I feel she was free to concentrate on what she was ready to do from day to day instead of being pushed by us stressed out parents. She was standing up by month 9 and walking at month eleven, right on track. The added bonus is not buying a ton of useless baby equipment which is often at least partly made of plastic.
Any thoughts on the Graco 4 in 1 carrier? He is 2 months but already very heavy and my hands hurt. I'm almost 40 and I am taking boxing training so my hands are sore.
Last night I kept trying to find a good source about why we discourage walkers because some of my family members keep pushing me to get my baby one. Thank you for all this!!!!
I was in the same situation. My son used it at my mother's house for a little while. He was fine without it and his legs are really strong since he did a lot of holding on to objects and walking.
My family is 100% against walkers because of their experience with me, not even because of the development issue. I fell down a flight of stairs because I was in my walker and somehow knew how to open then gate to the steps (dad pulled SuperDad and literally flew down the stairs somehow past me and caught me before I landed). My bfs mom wanted to get our 6m one and I told him and her this and now she’s against it. I got lucky, but some other babies have gotten majorly injured. My dad had a bruise on the back of his shoulder for 6 years later and had to get surgery to remove it. I told this to a friend of mine with hers and she laughed and didn’t believe me till her daughter almost did the exact same thing. Walkers are never okay in my family.
we didn't use any walker or jumper for our daughter. She's able to sit on her own by 5 months and cruising around by holding on furniture by 10 months.
Canada is the first country in the world to ban the sale, importation and advertisement of baby walkers. And other countries are doing the same.. I didn't use for my 2 children and it's better without it.
Or just don't help your baby to sit up. They will eventually sit by themselves, usually after starting to crawl. Until then, hold them on your lap with your support. That's how the body is designed to develop, with free movement. It's amazing to watch.

Hi everyone. My wife and I just had a new born and your videos are helping me be a better father. I feel I’m really struggling but your content is helping me out I’ll be staying tuned
I agree with everything mentioned but the waking piece. Each child is different. And this can be said about my 2nd son. He was a very fussy child until he took his first steps at 7 months and was choosing to walk at 8 months. He finally had control of his environment and was content. There was no stopping that child, he particularly skipped the crawling stage.
About the upseat... the best is no seat before they are ready..in my country (Czech Republic) these seats like bumbo or upseat are not common and discouraged the same way as walkers or jumpers.. the best way is to wait until the baby learns to sit on his own and not to sit him up before he and his spine is ready...
You’re the first “baby coach” that has made any sense! Thank you! I’m a nanny, but I hope to be a mama some day, and I share your thoughts. This is well researched and presented 🥰
Love this. My friend is an early childhood educator and they don’t use walkers, high chairs etc at preschool because it can delay their development, they are also against tummy time on the floor so I haven’t done this with my baby (she has tummy time on my chest) and has been holding her head up well for weeks
1. Front facing baby wearing 2. Developmentally inappropriate baby gear 3. Using jumpers or walkers too early or too much 4. Baby mittens 5. Baby shoes
Thank you SO much for this video! I already knew all these things myself but I am so happy you’re spreading the word! All these things are pretty well known back in my home country but I feel like they’re not spoken about enough in the west (UK, US etc). If I may, I will dare to disagree with point 2. The physiotherapists back at home actually recommend not to sit your baby until they learn it on their own completely. They spine isn’t ready, they sit all curled down, can’t breathe properly and their hips suffer too. Of course, the upseat is still better than all the other seats out there, I’m just sharing what I know. I believe we all do our best for our little ones
Yes def! Also it should Be noted that..newborns and babies can also get over-stimulated by forward facing carriers. They have no way to hide their face when they are over stimulated ! Thanks for this helpful video!
My impression is that also a car seat should be used as little as possible, e.g. perhaps only when in an automobile. Do you think that in any other case such as when outside, a carrier or bassinet is preferred ?
Love it! I'm in Mexico and pretty much everyone here thinks it's essential to have mittens and shoes on their baby at all times and they fuss at me when I don't put them on my baby.
I only give my newborn socks because it's cold up here in the north. But that's about it. Baby shoes never made much sense for me unless they are used outside and they can already walk on their own. Why do people put shoes on a still-learning-to-walk baby?
@@PoptartParasol They claim it helps them learn to walk correctly. I've usually just figure it's not worth arguing with them and am just like "oh, ok thanks" and do what I think is best for my baby.
Thank you so much Bridget for all the knowledge you put out !! I just birthed my 2nd baby on the 28th and it was a success. This was a Vbac and I labored @ home for 49 hours when I arrived at the hospital I was 9cm . Thank you ☺️
I had my baby girl 3 weeks ago and I had been watching your videos during my entire pregnancy. Thanks to you I was able to learn and practice breathing techniques and have an unmedicated birth, like I had planned for, despite family and friends advising me otherwise. Your videos gave me the confidence I needed to follow my instincts during labor and not give in to the epidural. I felt as if my mind and body were completely in-synch. All of this was possible thanks to you and your educational videos. Thank you so much!! 💕
I was just commenting elsewhere on this video about how people tend to listen to their friends and family over science haha. So I’m glad you stick to what you think is important! 👏 Congratulations on your baby 😊
I’m a ftm and I feel horrible, I’ve been doing everything wrong it seems like. I am so glad I found this video. I have the bumbo and I put my baby girl in it once but didn’t even let her stay 15 seconds because it had her slouched over so much
I'm wondering about socks or footed pajamas in relation to foot development in the early months. I don't have shoes for my baby but her hands and feet get so cold so she always has socks or pajamas with foot coverings on. Is that bad like shoes?
My wife and I are expecting our first child this June and your videos have helped me to try and be a better partner through this pregnancy where I often feel lost and unable to help. Thank you for this. Also my sister in law just got us some kits from Lovevery for Christmas so I am glad to hear that you recommend them ☺️
Never used any of these items with either of my kids! Tried the bumbo once and baby hated it. Tons of mama facing baby wearing. Never did mittens ever and we only do moccasins and very rarely shoes!
What about forward facing with the ergo baby carrier that supports the legs and keeps them in a wide “m” shape? The instructions say you can start forward facing at 3 months, which my baby is (today actually!) so I was going to start so he could see out since he gets frustrated when he’s turned in. But of course I want the best for him!
This is really interesting for me to see. I guess I live in very strictly ergo country. It is generally advised- No front facing carrying ever, no sitting baby up until they can sit on their own (usually from crawling), no jumpers, no walker or other baby trapping devices, bouncers/loungers just for few minutes a day when absolutely neccesary, barefoot when possible and now the big trend of barefoot shoes.
I even take off my babys pants when we're at home and it's not too cold. They learn how to crawl and pull themselves up much easier and quicker this way. They need the traction so they don't slip and fall.
This is a really informative video! It's important for parents to be aware of things that can potentially impact their baby's development and to do their best to avoid them. It's great to see that the speaker emphasizes the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for a baby, as this is crucial for their overall development. It's also important to remember that every baby is different, and what works for one may not work for another. Thank you for sharing these useful tips!
Thank you for figuring out Which products are good for our children Bridget. I have tried several products you recommend and they have been great. It's very helpful to be able to go to your videos and find good products because I don't have time sometimes to do So much research myself.
I'm about to be a dad for the first time next month. Thanks for these great tips! My siblings have been using the Bumbo for their kids and I'll definitely let them know.
Hi Bridget - I'm preparing for BLW for my baby and I live in Europe, with no possibility to but the upseat but yes the new bumbo multiseat - has it improved in any manner?
I followed some of your tips in your videos during pregnancy and delivery. Thank you so much it gave me much insight. I gave birth on April and this is the first time I watch your video after that. You look different, Bridget. Which is absolutely normal, as someone who has two little ones, hehe. I hope you're doing well and happy.
Hi Bridget! From what age to what age do you use the upseat? I'm assuming it could be used as an eating chair, when would you switch to a high chair and which would you recommend?
The upseat is cruel. You try sitting with your legs spread like that for 15 minutes without being able to close them. How awful. If a baby’s spine is developed enough, they will sit up on their own. I agree with the OT on TH-cam who says that babies spend far too much cumulative time in these contraptions, strollers, up seats, car seats, bouncy seats. Why don’t you try holding them?
Hello, I did some research online before buying my baby her sit up chair for Christmas. I got the summer situp chair with 3 different heights to sit the baby. Have you heard of these and if so what's your opinion on them
Great info. I definitely used a walker but like you said it was minimal useage. Mainly if I needed to have him out of my arms or just to give a few minutes of independent play time. I didn’t use it to help him learn to walk. But we still have it though because now that he’s fully walking on his own, he still loves to play with the toys on it so we still feel we got our money’s worth. 😁
Love your videos!! My baby is 4.5 months old and absolutely loves sitting when we pull her up and support her hands or independently in the tripod sit. We have to help her to get in these positions though. Is this okay? I heard from some people we should only let her do it when she can roll into a seated position herself (no assistance from us), so we started to worry!
Hey I’m a new Dad and apparently doing everything wrong. My son is 4 months old and we have had him in the ergo baby carrier, facing forward for the past month. He passionately hates facing inward. Even when just being carried. He wants to see the world. There are very few places and positions that he is truly happy in and this is his absolute favorite. It’s really been a huge help to use this for walks and the one thing we can rely on when he’s fussy. My question is: Exactly how bad is this for his hip development? Is it worth sacrificing everyone’s sanity and the one thing he enjoys? Is there a safe way to carry him front facing at this age or exercises we can do with him to make up for walks facing forward?
Hi my son is the same, he wants to be carried forward so he can see the world around him. I was looking forward for him to reach 6 months and put him in the carrier forward position, but my pediatrician (we live in EU) was completely against it and said I should never use it. I hope it helps 😊
@davynavy24 A ring sling might be better...allows for proper hip placement and yet being easier for baby to see out. My now 5 mon old son has loved it (been in since newborn) and loves looking out at everything and I love that it's good for proper support. He's now 21lbs and I wore my daughter into toddlerhood so it does provide support for wearer too...
That walker thing is instinctive to me. I wasn't raised with it, and one of my mother's coworkers asked if she was worried I'd be late learning to walk. Walkers were new when I was born, so my mother said "Did you use a walker to learn?" "Well, no." "And you seem to be standing here just fine." The lady couldn't respond to that.
What is the amount of time you recommend a day to use a jolly jumper? My 5 month old loves it! Have been using since 4 months. How early is too early? Love your videos! You really helped me with labor and delivery and beyond!
Never used jumper, walkers or never trained my baby to sit. we did a lots of tummy time She started sitting her own when she was ready at 7 months and now she stands up without help at 7.5 months.. the walkers can damage to baby's spine. The video is informative thx.
@@fishreign5771 But 8 months is early for baby to walk. the best thing you can do just put the baby on the floor and leave it alone 😊😊 is your baby crawling?
I'm wondering the same thing. I just checked mine and the part where baby's butt goes is not lower which is what she said can cause slouching and spine issues. The leg holes are not that far apart but not too close together either so I'm hoping it's okay bc I've just started using it.
My 10 mo(9 m adjusted) sits with a slouch. She's pretty tiny so we only started noticing the slouch a couple of days ago. She's army crawling n gets on her hands n knees in a seemingly ok posture. Not sure if i should be worried about the slouch or if it's too early to intervene.
Hi Bridget! I’ve watched a few of your videos but I need help!! . My son will be 7mo on the 9th . I’ve been cosleeping since he was born but it’s been rough lately. I want my space and sleep back.😣 I want to sleep train him in his crib in his nursery and not sure how to start. I breastfeed on demand. I know I’m supposed to put him down drowsy but not asleep but what if he cries??? I want a gentler way than the cry it out method. He’s also been taking super short naps during the day lately and going to sleep later than usual. He’s teething and also very close to crawling so i think those two play a part in that. Any advice, help or links will be super appreciated. I feel like I’m going crazy lately 😩🤣 love your videos ❤️
What about the sit-me-up seat by fisher price? I've been using this for my baby and Ive seen a lot of parents use this. I have done research on it and have found nothing negative about it
1. Forward facing baby wearing 2. Developmentally inappropriate baby gear 3. Using jumpers, activity centers, or walkers too early or too much 4. Baby mittens 5. Baby shoes
Do you by chance have an Amazon storefront? I need all these things. Also if you or anyone is done with the Lovevery and wants to donate it to me because the kits are to expensive for me to afford
Hi! Is the Bumbo bad or just not preferable to the Upseat? I have a Bumbo - haven't started using it yet - and am wondering if I need to return it. Thank you!
Can you please speak about what age to start tummy time and can we place baby on playmat and at what age, also swing/bouncer seat, when should those be used
Hey, I noticed in this video you recommend against using Bumbo seats; is the Baby Faves Amazon List (linked in your description) something created by yourself? As I’ve noticed there’s still a Bumbo seat suggested on that list, are there any other items from the list you no longer recommend? Thank you
Thank You, this video is very helpful, you tell us everything baby save, sometime we don't know how to sitting baby and everything else, you explain it easy to understand
So I have been struggling to baby wear my 1 month old chunker since I see people on youtube do the foot together inside the fabric carier but then when I take her out her foot has red marks from being squished in the carrier. This is my second baby but I never wore my first this early. So it is nice to know I can take out the foot just as long as it is in an M shape. Thank you for this info! I’m so worried of her getting hip dysplasia
Is there another alternative for the upseat? I got it for my son when he was learning to sit but he would keep trying to tip himself over and I had to hold it in place. I ended up using the fisher price one but only for a few minutes once or twice a day because he had terrible posture in it. Luckily, I didn’t need a seat very long because he started to crawl at 5 months and walk at 8, but for my next baby I’m looking for another option.
I agree with Pi Firsch. No seat will be actually so much better! And the best thing you can do is just let your baby figure it all out by their own. Practicing sitting can actually just slow down the process and worsen up your LO sitting technique.
My son did learn to sit on his own, he actually started crawling before he was willing to try and sit so sometimes I needed a seat to do certain activities. I am just looking for an alternative to the upseat.

1. Front facing baby wearing
2. Developmentally inappropriate baby gear
3. Using jumpers or walkers too early or too much
4. Baby mittens
5. Baby shoes
My daughter has SB and I can tell you from the point of view of someone who goes to physical therapy with her… you are right on point in this video!
I believe we all do our best for our little ones
please help, at how may months?
Im having a little difficulty imagining so it would greatly help if theres more visual in the video, i hope im making sense.
Yes def! Also it should
Be noted that..newborns and babies can also get over-stimulated by forward facing carriers.
Im in mexico and it's ok, there are people who don't believe that
我的儿子从来没有穿袜子,戴手套,包巾都没有。现在七十一天。
I only give my newborn socks because it's cold up here in the north. But that's about it. Baby shoes never made much sense for me unless they are used outside and they can already walk on their own. Why do people put shoes on a still-learning-to-walk baby?
@@PoptartParasol They claim it helps them learn to walk correctly. I've usually just figure it's not worth arguing with them and am just like "oh, ok thanks" and do what I think is best for my baby.
@@PoptartParasol it looks uncomfortable for the baby..
Thank you so much Bridget for all the knowledge you put out !! I just birthed my 2nd baby on the 28th and it was a success. This was a Vbac and I labored @ home for 49 hours when I arrived at the hospital I was 9cm . Thank you ☺️
How long after c section did you get pregnant
Congratulations on your baby 😊

Also my sister in law just got us some kits from Lovevery for Christmas so I am glad to hear that you recommend them ☺️
👏🏻👏🏻
Such A Great Video! ✨
I have lots of Newborn Baby tips on my channel & I really enjoyed this video!
Thanks for making this & I just subbed! 👶
So glad I found your channel, I can listen to your voice all day! Thank you for such an informative and helpful video!!
Never used any of these items with either of my kids! Tried the bumbo once and baby hated it. Tons of mama facing baby wearing. Never did mittens ever and we only do moccasins and very rarely shoes!
Love all your tips and advice!! I just had my first baby and want to learn as much as I possibly can! Thank you for sharing
I’m 27 and have hip dysplasia and poor core stability and posture. Can you recommend any furniture brands for adults?
Praying that everyone falls asleep quickly and has a peaceful sleep. Hope you all wake up happy and well rested 😆😆😆
How does the upseat compare to the newer 3in1 bumbo floor seat?
Congratulations frim Ethiopia.
Is the Fisherprice floor seat better for development or the Bumbo multi seat instead of floor seat?
Hi Bridget - I'm preparing for BLW for my baby and I live in Europe, with no possibility to but the upseat but yes the new bumbo multiseat - has it improved in any manner?
I followed some of your tips in your videos during pregnancy and delivery. Thank you so much it gave me much insight. I gave birth on April and this is the first time I watch your video after that. You look different, Bridget. Which is absolutely normal, as someone who has two little ones, hehe. I hope you're doing well and happy.
Couldn't agree more! My first used a walker and wore shoes and took 14 months to walk. My 4th never used and never wore shoes and walked at 9mos.
Hi Bridget, i would like to ask you, would you recomend the Mamas & Papas bug 3in1 floor and booster seat? Thank you! :)
I watched your breathing video during labor and my 14 hrs labor was manageable.
Walkers were new when I was born, so my mother said "Did you use a walker to learn?"
"Well, no."
"And you seem to be standing here just fine." The lady couldn't respond to that.
Thank you! I have been leaving my baby to sit and bend at the same time and I am going to correct this immediately.
When would you recommend baby wears mittens? Do you know any affordable similar options to the upseat?
Very sensible evidence based advice. Shame the products are so expensive.
For the baby wrap my daughter is 2 weeks old and she arches her back a little when I put her in the wrap , should her back be straight?
Hello! Have you heard anything about baby bjorn bouncer and how it affects development?
What is the amount of time you recommend a day to use a jolly jumper? My 5 month old loves it! Have been using since 4 months. How early is too early? Love your videos! You really helped me with labor and delivery and beyond!
15 minutes max. She didn't mention how early was too early though
Never used jumper, walkers or never trained my baby to sit. we did a lots of tummy time
She started sitting her own when she was ready at 7 months and now she stands up without help at 7.5 months.. the walkers can damage to baby's spine. The video is informative thx.
What should I do for baby to walk 8 month
Any specified food
@@fishreign5771 But 8 months is early for baby to walk. the best thing you can do just put the baby on the floor and leave it alone 😊😊 is your baby crawling?
Question: Fisher Price sit me up floor seats...are they safe (?)
I'm wondering the same thing. I just checked mine and the part where baby's butt goes is not lower which is what she said can cause slouching and spine issues. The leg holes are not that far apart but not too close together either so I'm hoping it's okay bc I've just started using it.
Great and helpful video. Can you talk about swaddling please. Different types. What’s good and what isn’t. Thank you
My 10 mo(9 m adjusted) sits with a slouch. She's pretty tiny so we only started noticing the slouch a couple of days ago. She's army crawling n gets on her hands n knees in a seemingly ok posture. Not sure if i should be worried about the slouch or if it's too early to intervene.
Can you link a few shoes options
I was wondering about the bumbo. We were given one and it just seemed unsafe & was awkward how it pushed the legs upwards
I have done research on it and have found nothing negative about it
1. Forward facing baby wearing
2. Developmentally inappropriate baby gear
3. Using jumpers, activity centers, or walkers too early or too much
4. Baby mittens
5. Baby shoes
This is the best video everrrrr. Seriously Soo straightforward and helpful. Great job. thank YOU!!!!!!
Thank you!
What about chair that vibrate? I noticed my baby would slouch in it and then added some padding that help her sit straight. Is this safe?
I’m from japan and i love that play gym but how can i order this one only available in US.😔
Thanks for this video. I just learned about the mittens.
Can you please speak about what age to start tummy time and can we place baby on playmat and at what age, also swing/bouncer seat, when should those be used
Do you have a resource for super active 7-8 month olds? Not very interested in stationary toys. Thank you!
Which brand of up seat?
Does anyone know where to buy Upseat in Europe please? 🙏
How on earth to know the correct positions? Photos, or demonstration pls...
Hello, how long can the baby use the up seat for ?
Hey, I noticed in this video you recommend against using Bumbo seats; is the Baby Faves Amazon List (linked in your description) something created by yourself? As I’ve noticed there’s still a Bumbo seat suggested on that list, are there any other items from the list you no longer recommend? Thank you
Thank You, this video is very helpful, you tell us everything baby save, sometime we don't know how to sitting baby and everything else, you explain it easy to understand
I have a 2 month old that I have worn facing out sometimes 😳 no more! Thanks for the video!!!
Why not put a picture for example ☹️ i didnt understand what you meant by forward facing
When can I put my baby forward facing in an ergobaby carrier
I found this very interesting and helpful! Can you recommend a good baby bed or do a video talking about the best options?
I like my baby’s age the most, 16 months 😆! A dream come true. So much fun! I really liked Lovevery too.
Is there an equivalent to the Upseat, that is available in England?
Please can hip dysplasia be corrected in a 15 months old baby at home?
Does a slouchy back in a toddler (while sitted) mean a life time slouching?
Can you suggest some good cloth diapers fir 2 month baby
Regarding the shoes part, does this include closed-footed onesies? He wears these all the time as his feet are like ice otherwise.
This makes sense I've been doing it wrong because I can the results your saying. Thank you..much love from the island's ✊🏽❤️
Where did you get that playmat at the beginning of the video?
Luckily, I didn’t need a seat very long because he started to crawl at 5 months and walk at 8, but for my next baby I’m looking for another option.
what about waiting till baby can sit on its own?
I agree with Pi Firsch. No seat will be actually so much better! And the best thing you can do is just let your baby figure it all out by their own. Practicing sitting can actually just slow down the process and worsen up your LO sitting technique.
My son did learn to sit on his own, he actually started crawling before he was willing to try and sit so sometimes I needed a seat to do certain activities. I am just looking for an alternative to the upseat.
