    Thanks for watching! Some babies don’t burp after every feeding but it is important to give the baby the opportunity to burp. Comment below with your favorite baby burping position.

      My preferred is over shoulder and rubbing circles on baby's back. Thanks for sharing. New sub here!

    This was so helpful! I’m a FTM and I struggle to burp my daughter and while I knew some of these positions/methods, I didn’t realize how long we should be trying burp, but I now know that I’m likely just stopping a little too early (she hiccups all the time). Thank you for all the helpful content.

      Hi! Also, burping half-way through a feed might help baby with less hiccups. All the best to you. :)

    Hey Yini...this was a wonderful reminder of when my kids were infants. Are you guys making any headway on getting more women breastfeeding? I used to work in healthcare and the nurses in Mom and Baby said there was still plenty of resistance to nursing.

      Hi! We’ve definitely seen improvement in breastfeeding rates but we have more to go. Moms are more willing to breastfeed nowadays, which is great! But the lack of support and breastfeeding education are the top reasons for early cessation. My goal with my videos is to provide breastfeeding education and support to those families in need of guidance.

    Yines, thank you for what you do and what you share. As a first-time mom, exclusive breastfeeding is quite tricky, which is why i so appreciate the contents you provide and how calmly you speak like a friend. ❤️

    Is there a technique to reduce hiccup or stop it

    • @PrenatalYini
      @PrenatalYini  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If bottle feeding, use the paced bottle feeding technique to prevent overfeeding and baby swallowing excess air, which can cause hiccups. If breastfeeding, burp baby more often during a feeding. th-cam.com/video/Bs2YIjwGBFU/w-d-xo.html
