I can’t blame OP for pushing. And kicking her cheating, lying husband. I would have done the same. Some people were complaining that she had caused his death but the idiot had cancer and instead of treatment he was fooling around with his mistress. He was to Blame for his speedy demise. He was a crappy husband and father. And a liar. How he convinced his deluded mistress that he was a millionaire is unbelievable. The mistress either had jello for a brain or was crazy. Something tells me she was crazy as she tried to terrorize his wife and family after his death. Hope she spends sometime in jail for her craziness.
I imagine that after Christie gets out of jail, she will try for revenge. I am sure that she realizes that Paul lied to her, so she would still need to get payback with her mental condition. She thinks if she can't have Paul, she would make all those suffer around him.

whatever happens after she gets out. it's still a good idea to get that restraining order but in all honesty i'd do it now and get it done and over with or atleast a month before she gets out. you never know what she can do in a matter of hours minutes or seconds the moment she's out. get that restraining order asap in all honesty.

Pressed charges at the funeral. Put up security cameras around the outside of the house, informed e police about the stalker/strange car always following yours and parked across from your home, applied for a restraining/no contact order(s), hired a babysitter or sent to kids to after school care/program, possibly gotten a dog as a precaution/early alarm, inform the neighbours and kids’ school about the situation so they can keep an eye and or ear out, take myself and my kids to a self defence class, told the kids in a child friendly and age appropriate way what was happening so they’d know to call/get help if/when they saw her.
OP’s children sound like they’re old and responsible enough to be left home alone for a short time after school, although knowing their ages would help.
It sounds like Christie is mentally ill. Paul must have been a really good liar to convince her that he had millions. She's also obviously a gold-digger & money means everything to them. She needs to stay on top of Christie's case to make sure she doesn't get out early & really presents a danger to her kids!

Christie is extremely gullible and Paul knew that. She was just an easy lay, with the promise of money. This man was married and even if he did have millions she should have known that his WIFE would inherit all his assets. When she was not contacted by an attorney that should have let her know she got played. OP, listen to your father and get cameras all around your home, inside and outside. Better yet, sale that house and move. Christie is INSANE and delusional and that's not a good combination. If not for yourself do it for your children's safety.

For Christie... She was worse than Paul. Idk what you were expecting, Christie. If Paul had millions, why would he be living in a run-down house? Also, you could've just demanded for the documents, which OP probably would've provided, to prove that she owned to house and not Paul, instead of doing something, uh.... Highly illegal, to put it simply. When Christie gets out, she'll likely try the same thing, but I don't see her getting far.
As for Henry... OP should date him. He did everything for her, and treated the kids nicely. If Henry isn't a good enough date, Idk who will be.

I cannot believe he told his wife she was gaining a lot of weight. Not only is she almost 40, she has to young children she most likely gave birth to, a full time job, and has to manage the kids and household chores. If I was her, I would have gained a ton of weight. Even though this is a cartoon, she looks better than some of the women who have less children than her an aren’t under as much stress. Besides, it’s not like her husband is exactly a model. When he was shirtless, he had a huge beer belly and he’s losing weight because of cancer.

The way the kids acted after being saved sounded like they were WAY to young to be left home alone for a few hours. Christie is definitely insane but OP doesn’t sound like a good mom at all, and sounds abusive too.
I think you're being unfairly critical. A woman who these kids had only seen once before (during which she got into a fistfight with their mom) came into their house, shoved them into the bathroom and trashed the place, and was only stopped by the cops. Anybody, regardless of age, would need time after all that to come down from the adrenaline rush.
How does OP sound abusive? Kids are more mature than you think and also my mum and dad would leave me alone for a few hours. Parents leave their kids alone all the time if it is just to pop out for a few hours and they is nobody available to watch them.
