Story Summary :-
Op is a normal guy with a handsome face. Op at first dated Hailey’s sister Claire, but at the time, Op had changed his job and was looking for a new one. Claire left him because she couldn’t take care of a jobless man. Within a year, Op gets married to Hailey, who is younger than Claire. Claire never acknowledged Hailey’s worth because she thought of her as someone inferior to her. Op and Hailey decide to cut the cake to celebrate six months of their marriage. Claire chooses this opportunity to accuse Op of hitting on her. Hailey and others leave the party when the cake is still uncut in the center. Op is suspicious of Claire, but he is also wondering about the reason that led her to do it. He wonders about confronting Claire then and there. But sees that Claire has also left the party. Op finally decides to go to Claire’s condo which turns out to be another trick of Claire. Hailey leaves the house.
Op is trying to reach out to Hailey but in vain, as she is unresponsive. Claire had posted a story where she is seen speaking about Op hitting on her while she acts innocent. Op is angry, so he decides to go to the gym so he can think better. As he opens the door, he finds Claire standing in front of the house. Op threatens to call Hailey. Claire agrees to return. Op decides to go to Hailey, who was living at her parent’s house because he has something to show her. Op goes to Hailey’s place and shows her the video of Claire entering the house and seducing Op. Hailey believes Op and immediately returns home with him. The next morning, Claire comes banging at Op’s door. Op knows why she has come, and he is finally able to make her taste her own medicine. Hailey asks Claire to leave, and Claire says that she will regret it.
Claire goes online and tries to convince the people how everything was photoshopped. At this, Hailey posts Claire’s real and fake pictures with a caption that speaks of how Claire knows the art of deception. When Terrance, Claire’s BF, reaches Hailey and Op for answers, they tell him everything, which leads him to leave Claire. Op and Hailey celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Claire doesn’t show up, but she has completely changed. She is not beautiful anymore and has lost her figure and everything else too. Op reveals that the night Claire showed up at his door, Hailey was there outside as she had come to pick up some important documents. She sees Claire acting that way and already decides to believe Op, and it is she who comes up with plans to ruin Claire’s repo and teach her a hard lesson.

1) when meeting with the enemy, always record for your safety. Buddy system would have been appropriate. Point out that Hailey continues to allow herself to be abused. I would have turned Claire & boss in to HR for & undisclosed relationship.

I would have shown my wife and in-laws the proof of Claire’s deceit. Then…I’d told the wife I would have to think about our relationship…to give me some time to think about where we stood…just to give her a taste of what could happen if she continued to believe her sister’s manipulations.
The timeline doesn't make sense. This mess started at OPs 6 month anniversary. His wife left him for a little over a month. In his final update, he says it's been a year since he updated, and he and Hailey just celebrated this first anniversary. So, unless they live on Mars, time lines don't work. Also, no matter how terrible my sister would be with me. I, personally, could never date/marry my sister's ex. To me, it's just too weird.
