Hey Paddy great series, I look forward to more of your travels! I would have to say the Berner Oberland Pass is something someone visiting the area should check out. I will be spending two weeks in Murren and the surrounding area here in a month, and your videos were great information for booking the trip!

Paddy, if you're there in July, before/after your tour, check out the Lavaux region. Montreux/ area for example. Same for Gruyère area... Worth a few days as much as the Bernese oberland. Lucerne/Bern/Grisons/Ticino, all amazing areas of Switzerland.

Why only the German part ? Lausanne and it’s lake, Moleson, rochers de Naye, Valais, to name a few are gorgeous too, but it’s always the same handful of places that get reviews… might be better for us, less mass tourism !
Your suggestions refer to the most visited places. These are by far not the best places. You missed Appenzell or the Engadine. Also the Jura, other places in Valais or the french Part of Switzerland, the Ticino with the Maggia Valley... etc. etc.
I appreciated a lot the quality of your videos, switzerland is fantastic for who loves mountains. 🙂 And I live there in a village at 1600m, what else can I demand.. 😇

It makes absolutely no sense that you call this video "the best places in Switzerland". 98% of the places are not only in the canton of Bern, but also all almost in the same spot + Zermatt. It is also not bashing against Bern, I live in the canton myself
I’m only in interlaken 2.5 days really then last day in Lucerne as closer to airport and I have so much I want to do in short space of time and there is a heatwave lol
Brilliant video and I've just subscribed 👍. We will be going to Switzerland on September 1st. We are doing all the scenic trains ie.Bernina,Glacier Express, Golden Pass, Gornegrat and Jungfraujoch. We have the Swiss travel pass and you mentioned that you no longer get the 50% off some of the cable cars. We were told you do,if your right how long has it been changed .??

If I ever go there it will be end of May. Not during summer which is peak season. Too many tourists.
