What a journey it has been, thanks for watching this adventure and tune in next time as we explore the final destination of Zermatt 🇨🇭
Go to Venice while you are there and then go see your Family. 😊
Thanks Paddy! 🎉
I don’t want it to end 😭 so beautiful! Thanks for sharing❤️
Hiya Paddy.
Mum, tip.
Carry, Vicks. If you're coughing, rub on the bottom of your feet. Works wonders.
You always pick the perfect music. Gorgeous drone footage.
Another beautiful video. So relaxing. Epic views.
I love dandelions. I love the sound of the water rushing.
The golf greens do look gorgeous.
A beautiful hike. I love these videos. You have done so well to continue and take us along on your journey. Being unwell.
You have grown so much. A master of your craft.
I love all of your adventures. I hope you enjoyed your beer.
Beautiful video, Paddy. Thank you for sharing.
Vicks for the win (next time) thanks Nicky!
Wow! What a great one!
You're editing, at the end, reminding us all your trips, and this music growing to climax with your Swiss journey images: this is definitely next level!!!
Thanks a lot!
The Swiss Alps are heaven on earth. I can’t stop going there again and again and going back there again in October.
Thank you for sharing the amazing series, I got a few tips and route ideas from your videos.
If you can do this hike, I challenge you to come to America, to the Humboldt County/Del Norte County redwood trails. Seriously. If you love beautiful forests and lovely creeks and coastline, this is for YOU. I was watching another TH-camr video last week and thought "I bet Paddy would be blown away by this area and these hikes". I lived there for many years, attended university at Humboldt. It's gorgeous. Maybe not Switzerland but those trees are incredible. Read "The Wild Trees" and watch the videos about Steven Sillett. I bet you'd put this spot on your bucket list!
That's funny, I live in Humboldt County as well. My grandpa was born in Switzerland, my grandma was from the Domolites.
They came to Humboldt because it was similar but Switzerland is more beautiful for sure!
Hey paddy...
It was lovely to see the Matterhorn in all her Majesty...
Top job well done again...
I also feel you needed a few more apples...hehe...
Andy,Herefordshire ,England...
Switzerland is so ridiculously gorgeous!
The whole series could seem like you are walking on some props in front of giant dream posters (the kind they used to favor in the 80's to put as a corny wallpaper on a bedroom wall, of glorious montainscapes or dreamy tropical beaches) !
But thankfully, with your sumptuous images, your knack at storytelling and the almost intimate quality you breathe into these videos, you really do transport me into your reality for a brief while and it is all but fake.
Can't have been easy walking for hours when you're sick, so hats off to you for continuing the adventure and taking us with you.
My family just went to visit there in Matterhorn during our 1st Europe tour last June 2023 and celebrated my son’s 10th birthday. Your video is amazing. I’ve been following your journey/blogs on my travels from work. I’m originally from the Phil and lived here now in the US. Your videos inspire me to explore this wonderful planet we have. Amazing.
Wow thanks 😊
I really enjoy watching your video and imagine what would it feel like to hike up the valley instead of taking a train or a bus. In 2019, I traveled to Zermatt by train and was amazed by the scenery along the railway line.
Ahh Paddy, yes you’ve grown and matured, how could you not as the world and it’s people opened your mind, expanded your horizons, and buffed off a few sharp edges of you-the diamond! Shining in all your cinematic talents and sharing of you🙏🏻❤️ happy trails🎶🎵
The solitude on the trails is amazing!
I like that you said your Laos series was your favourite - it was ours too! It was what brought us to your channel as hubs (Thai) wants to explore Laos 🇱🇦 Enjoy them all though - extremely inspiring ✨️
Mr. Paddy, you're breathing some fresh life into my summer! Thank you so much! Love, from Destin Florida.❤
FAB series Paddy you did great! It’s this series that has made me book a mini holiday next May to Interlaken and travel around the area. I have watched some of your other series and you’ve changed my mind about Bali for sure!
Looking forward to your new adventures 🎉
Recap at the end of the video was GREAT.
Cheers 🥂
Switzerland is on my bucket list for 2025 thanks to your fantastic trip. Much appreciated for showing us this.
Paddy, thanks for sharing the great videos to my home country 🇨🇭with us. I really enjoyed every
episode of the series. 😊 Actually I am following ur steps right now. 😉😉
Best wishes from Nong Khiaw, Laos 🇱🇦.
And u r right, Laos is some kind of magic. ☺️☺️
You did an incredible job filming this one. Just a pleasure to watch.
Cheers mate
It's so crazy to me, that you hiked trough all those areas, that I know pretty good, as a swiss. And now currently I travel trough thailand while watching your thai travel videos and your switzerland hike videos. Like we switched places. I feel so good, that you like it there.
Good tour
Very beautiful trip. Pity that you were ill during your hiking. Your view in Zermatt is very nice. Hope you relax and feel better.
Very nice episode from the hike to Zermatt. Looking forward to next videos.
Hi Paddy, my only word is WOW ! Gorgeous views & episode - you bring us to Zermatt to see the most famous spectacular Mountain in Switzerland - thats a great gift, Thanks alot !😍✌Lucky you had splendid weather ! hiking in peaceful nature and reflecting what was your past adventures was great, it is your essence as a traveller on high level ! Thanks Paddy ❤🙏i enjoyed it all very much, you are a great filmmaker indeed.
The white horse, if it had a horn, could have been a unicorn. What a beauty. 😊
I love the reflections of past trips... long walks definitely conjure up memories and give plenty of time for thinking.
Ahhh! That first glimpse of a majestic peak is THE BEST!! And the Matterhorn... so iconic. ❤
haha yeah, I always get reflective on my last days of any big adventure
Scenery was fantastic. I just missed your signature view from the motorcycle and like to see more drone view. I was just drawn to your series because of 71 provinces of Thailand. Thank you.
Nice adventure, thanks for taking us along. 😊
I really enjoyed this series. The Swiss alps are lovely.
They are!
Nice!! Thanks for sharing this very nice environment!
I was in Switzerland the second week in July. Found your channel when I got back. I absolutely love your channel!!! You showed me some places I didn’t go to that I will go to when I go back. This series would make a great documentary! Can’t wait to see where you go next. Thank you Paddy!! Fan for life!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
You should be very proud of yourself like we are of you 👏 you've done incredibly well and grown in all ways 😀
Ah cheers, still a ways off yet
Buongiorno Paddy … Absolutely beautiful as ever ❤ So I’m glad you decided to go to where you went on your next trip as I know so many people have gone there . I feel like I’m watching a documentary on Netflix it’s so good your series has been . Haha beautiful ⛳️ golf club definitely different to ones in Thailand. Everywhere you have been I have been with you watching every episode and i have always loved every moment… Thank you for being such a great person….
ah thanks Paul, kind words!
Thank you so much @PaddyDoyle such a great video, i bet you have made so many people want to visit Switzerland and do these walks, i know im going to
Very good reflective clip, Paddy. I subscribed at Day 1. As a fan of the Budgeteers, I already knew of your talents as a travel TH-camr, so subscribing was a no brainer. All of the adventures with your channel have been magical, and I am glad to be riding along.
Some of my favorite parts of this series is the interaction you have with the animals. You can see the joy on your face. So glad you could do this and equally glad you chose to share this with us.🎉🎉🎉
Great walk I’ll try to hike during winter for next visit or 🛷 sledding.
Wow, what an incredible adventure! I'm absolutely mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps. The breathtaking views captured in this video series are simply awe-inspiring. It's amazing to see you embracing the solo journey and immersing yourself in the wonders of nature. Your courage and determination are truly inspiring. Thank you for taking us along on this virtual trip, and I can't wait to see where your next adventure takes you!
Ah thanks a million 🙏
JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Hello Sir Paddy! Incredible views there! so majestic! I really like your vlogs, so unique! Btw, get well soon! - Love from the Philippines!
Amazing journey thank you
Gosh....the flashbacks on your trips in SEA...no wonder you're so fit...not all TH-camrs can do this alone.
Absolutely amazing Paddy
your a lucky man to do what you do
Beautiful Paddy. Editing was fantastic and I also loved when you looked back on your previous adventures, which I’ve been entertained by from before you resigned in Chang Mai. Appreciate your narration but some of your best work is when you let the pictures do the talking with some perfectly chosen background music. Can’t wait for what’s to come. Thank you.
Another Awesome Adventure Paddy Doyle what can I say they just keep getting Better and Better🙂Watching from New Brunswick Canada🙂
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome as always
Thanks again!
Spent time on the beatiful trails winding around above Bolzano a few years back. I had the best time! The Dolomites are beyond striking. The weather was stellar. Great memories, gorgeous area of the world.
Rocking episode. Still catching my breath keeping up with you. Great footage. Nice D.O.P. work! dcb
haha thanks mate!
This hike was very intimate Paddy. I really enjoyed the feel of just being along for a walk with my friend in an amazing place. It felt very connected to me. I could tell you worked your butt off getting those fixed camera position takes done. You must have nearly doubled the distance in order to capture all those walk by shots.
haha I am sure I definitely added a few dozen km overall
Nice video bro
What a wonderful series. The Animal at 13:00 was probably an ibex not a deer. Maybe a chamois.
We’ve watched every Next Level that you have done. Massive thanks for inviting us on your travels. We’re moving to Thailand next February and look forward to following your trips to Laos and Cambodia. Been to Vietnam and went north to south. Great in bits but not in others
Awesome, thank you!
paddy - you are living a life that others only dream about
Thanks paddy. Sorry about you being sick. It happens when travelling.
You made that hike look so easy... bet it wasn’t... better on a bike you think? 🙃
Paddy - I have just returned from Switzerland myself and I can say I enjoyed every bit of your vlogs especially when you reflect out aloud and vocalise your thoughts. Well done! It’s inspiring and folks will do hikes in Switzerland just because of your videos. I followed Karl Watson’s videos too and I love your contrasting styles. Kudos. Good luck to Newcastle United as they kick of their league campaign this weekend
Good to hear, safe travels buddy
Hope you picked the Dolomites & Northern Italy for the next leg of your trip around Europe. The area around Riva (Limone Sul Garda) on Lake Garda is a good spot to kick back for a few days & not too expensive.
Paddy, just amazing and different type of adventure I enjoyed watching. You always bring your unique style and real sense of next level adventure to everywhere you've been, and Switzerland was no exception in that regard. I did miss the scootering around fun you show us in other places you visit, but what you showed us was very thrilling and enjoyable, and the scenery was next level. It wouldn't have been as much fun watching someone else's Swiss series, but you bring the reality of it right there, so thank you for being the fun thrill-seeker you are, like those avalanches (yikes) and remote trek up that trail with your own why not see what's next around the corner sense of wonder, all while not feeling well, so get well soon. That openness you share is truly what I love about all your videos. Stay Healthy, Happy and Safe, my friend.
Ah thanks a million 🙏
As a Swiss and knowing all this Place, I really enjoyed this series and felt like I was there... You should do some mountain passes with a motorcycle ;-) But I guess you left Switzerland again.
Must be great being a train driver there
Guinness Goats!
Hi from Geordieland!!
🔥
Hi Paddy, Thanks so much for your Vlogs they have all been so entertaining
, but confession I just ❤️ed Around Thailand road trips. Living Europe I think thats why.❤️💞💋
Hi paddy, just watch your video when you mention that you are a Newcastle supporter and you were wandering where you would go next so how about you show us around Northumberland. I would to see the North East Coast of England
Easy tiger... LAOS was my fave too. Okay thx byeeeeee 😂 Defo try get more time in Cambodia if you ever can.... A couple of months there and you'll really fall in love with it ❤
Sounds good!
Love in interstella theme song
@Paddy It's not a Deer mate, it's a "Chamois", very common in the Alps over 1500m. Great video as usual 🙏
Looking at your budget you have done quite well. How are you (which search engine) finding reasonably priced accommodations?
I loved your series retrospective on the old TV --- and through to the end of your vlog.
What not visit your family in England --- and then, wait for it --- TO FLY BACK TO BANGKOK?
A lot of us subscribers are SE Asia enthusiasts.
How about a motorcycle trip through Borneo --- to kick up the exotica level again?
That's a great idea!
It’s not a deer it’s a gems
When are you doing the Camino de Santiago Paddy? 🙂
Funny. The people in St. Niklaus speaking Italian are obviously an invasion of Italian tourists because the population talks Swiss German there.
Maybe he really noticed that valiser german sounds bot like swiss german therefor it has to be italian…I hope it‘s not the case and your theory is correct though.
When you came away from South East Asian videos I thought I wouldn’t be interested but really enjoying this series thanks 🙏
Can you please give the name of the hostel you stay in Zermatt. The sceneries are amazing
I think you've somewhat Adapted to the South Asian weather; you then went Early Season to Switzerland to miss the Crowds; the unpredictable cold weather has been Slapping you and you, being acclimatized to the Tropics, keep unconciously thinking "Something's Wrong ."
What teeth whitening methods do you use Paddy? I'd get into making travel videos if I had pearly whites like yours :)
There are no such things as weeds only plants you dont want lol. The dandilion grows in spots where grass is struggling. It breaks the ground apart and when its job is done the grass fill it in again ;) Deer go on ice to get away from flies as they find it hard to fly in the cold air
Does it sometimes feel like a bit of a chore?
Dear Paddy: I was expecting pandemonium at the end of this series and all I got was the theme to Interstellar 🤣. Other than that great work as usual.
😁 technically it’s not the end , we have Zermatt to come on Saturday
Prob enjoy it more if u would of rent a scooter for the alps, maybe all Switzerland in same amount of time.
In st. Niklaus they spoke italian? Wasnt it rather french?
Total cost visiting switzerland?
after your trips/ hikes in Switzerland, which location or part of the hike is the most scenic ?
Don't they have train to England?
As Swiss I agree the accommodations are expensive. Especially if you are used to the Asian prices. Well bucket up Paddy because we voted for Japan as your next destination. That will be just as pricey..
0:56 cheating a bit buses and trains? 🧐

Switzerland has gotten far too expensive, its ridiculous.
It's all relative
Accommodation and food is a killer. Hv to buy food from co-op. Train going to the touristy mountains is expensive too.
Not sure you're a "Filmmaker" Paddy. Vlogger maybe....
22:48 what a view up your nostrils to end it all.
z
Are you sure, that this was not French?
Doe, a Deer, a female Deer....
GO BACK TO THAILAND. Ii watched all your videos 2x. I vusited Thailand vecause of your videos. Theres more to c there. TOO EXPENSIVE in Switzerland.
17:04 Did you get tested for Covid? I wonder if that's what you had.
What I would have prefered is not just hiking but also the cities and "real life" in Switzerland. This series, I am not going to lie, was my least favourite. The hiking was cool for 2-3 videos but then it got boring for me. I also felt like this part of Switzerland is really touristy and is not really what the "real Switzerland" is like. Not sure why you decided to focus on hiking that much.
Sorry for this paddy but I am losing interest fast in this series, obviously it’s a very beautiful country but the Vlogs are leaving me somewhat bored and struggling to watch thru to the end… my two cents and I’ve watched all your travels and enjoyed them even the singing in PI
I understand, these vlogs are supposed to be relaxing rather than exciting, which of course can be boring in comparison
