    Felt a lot of these more in my legs and glutes than obliques but I don’t mind after the other ab exercises on the calendar

      Yeah! As I just finished the beginner calendar, I couldn't make correctly every move. So I had to adjust them a little but it felt more in my legs and butt.

    I first started Blogilates 2 years ago, and I absolutely COULD NOT do Obliquatories... Now, I'm able to do *everything* in this entire video!!!! 🙈🤯🎊🤣🎉 I've definitely gotten alot stronger, more toned, and have lost weight, just by doing cardio pilates 💕 my gosh, I love Cassey so much!!! I can't believe I did this without any breaks, it used to be painful and so difficult! Anyone out there struggling, please don't give up!! I thought about it many times, and I'm so thankful I didn't. Your body will take however long it needs, but it'll happen if you just give it that time. You *can* do it! ❤️ I believe in you, please believe in you too! 🙏😊

    So I know I'm way late to the comment party, but I've been doing this workout since it was new and it still burns! Lol Also, I am actually a truck driver and I was so happy to see the "Truck Driver" move! I've been doing this workout for so long because it is actually truck sleeper cab friendly too, so thank you for that! Keep truckin' Cassey; I always love what you do! 😁💜👍

    It would be nice to have more workouts that don't put so much weight on our wrists. I have skimpy wrists that tend to hurt all the time..

    The only move that got my obliques watch candle stick.. The other ones are just legs n butt... Seriously. Been with cassey for two years and still...

      Really? I felt all of them. Did you have your stomach sucked in and your legs straight and your feet flexed like hers? If I forget one of those three, personally I don't feel it.

      Really? I didn't feel it at first but then a slow burn grew on my sides. These moves work the fat at the sides of your hips/stomach

      Same! I only ever feel obliques in the candle stick. I mean, I'll certainly take a bonus thighs workout lol, but I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong in my form. My legs are straight, and my feet are pointed/flexed where indicated, but that just helps me feel it in my legs more.

    April 2020 - was feeling very lazy today as it was Sunday and thought about switching some days around but decided I would feel better if I did the full workout for today. I was right! Feeling strong and dedicated, thanks Cassey :)

    This workout has taken me a few times to get my posture right while doing the moves. After 3 weeks I already am noticing a difference. I've lost 2 inches off my waist. I do this workout 4 times a week.

    I must be doing something wrong...I dont feel it in my obliques at all :( My side just dents in and like it feels like nothing but uncomfortable when the dent rubs together...feel it more in my outer legs.

    I held a NEDA walk in my home town in Maine. The walk was set for a weekend in May. The week before the walk, forcast was rain.... On the day of the walk, I wondered if I should call it off, walk alone, or try for another time. Once I arrived at the sight, It was me and just a few other. 15 Minutes past, and 35 people rolled up with raincoats and smile! I led my NEDA walkers like a greek godess!!!

    I think I must have been doing the moves wrong, as I can't feel my sides, just my glutes and outer thigh. Also, when I do the moves on my side, sometimes my hips will roll and I can't balance, or the dig into the floor. What am I doing wrong? X

      I can really feel it in my gluteus too, same though not as much in my obliques, I was watching myself do it though and I noticed that when my body wasn’t in a straight line I felt it more in my glutes and when it was more aligned that’s when I felt it more in my obliques, also, you really have to squeeze your abs, which can be harder said then done.

      I had the same problem, but I found out that if I keep my head, hips, knees, and feet in a straight line (like a stiff board) I can feel the burn in my side as well as in my neck and legs.

    It's so great to listen to Cassey's inspiring voice after a hard day. My volleyball 'teammates' (they're no mates of mine) are so rude to me. They nitpick every one of my mistakes and just make me feel like crap. Listening to Cassey always makes me happier, like she's actually talking to *me*.

    I am so grateful I have found you! You are amazing I lost 80lbs and have recently been so bored in the gym. I was starting to lose the muscle and body that I had built.     I found it very hard to breath when doing the first one "elegant candlestick".
    Especially when I´m going down, it hurts in my stomach when breathing out or in x'D

    This is my favorite blogilates video of all time!! Obliques has always been a problem area for me and hard to target because of my spinal surgery. Like the regular candlestick and hip dips always kind of cause me pain (the bad kind). But this video helps me work that area EXTREMELY well (I hurt for days after this workout but I love it all the same BRING ON THE BURN) and keeps me distracted while I do it. I'm always amazed how fast this workout passes me by!

    The elegant candle stick kills whichever knee I'm on :( is this the same for everyone else? Also, is there any way to modify it so it wont cause as much discomfort on my knees?

      I just came from one of her videos that was solely the candlesticks, and she said you can fold up a little section o your mat so there’s a little more cushion, or if they’re really sore, you can just put a small pillow underneath whichever knee it is.

      Yep, double fold your mat, or use some blanket padding. I have to do that for my elbows as well.

      Putting a pillow or something under the knee helps me.

    I just did this video for the first time and LOVED IT! I have never had my obliques and saddlebag area worked as hard as I just worked it! I can feel my muffin top melting! Thank you so much for the great videos! I work out to them everyday!! I went from someone who never worked out to working out almost everyday because your videos are so effective and fun! Thanks!!

    does anyone else's back hurt during anything candle stick related? I feel like I can never carry out the movement properly and get the best out of it because my lower back always hurts

      Hi me too, you need to do more back stretches before you do this work out. And if you feel like your back hurts all the time you should strecth more often and pay more attetion to your posture. Hope you fell better. :3
