One year ago, I began my ab journey right here. The fact that such a short video could do so much for my body inspired me to not just whittle down my waist, but to fight for those toned abs! Now, about a year later, I've got killer obliques and can actually feel a six pack under my skin (even if its not quite visible yet).
So....you can do it!! Keep fighting! This is a great place to start :)
Damn guys. I don't know it it's just me, but hey, if any of you are just starting brand new here at Blogilates and you're doing the Janyouary calendar, CONGRATULATIONS!! You guys are beasts. Keep it up!! I have been doing Cassy's workouts for over a year now and this is by far the most consistently difficult month she has ever done. It's kicked my butt every day but it's amazing. Just keep at it, keep going hard and I promise you won't regret a single sweat or scream!
so happy to hear i'm not the only one thinking it is one of the most difficult caledenders so far :) Especially my legs feel so sore :O
Well that explains it all, I thought all the calendars she has done were like this :o I'm doing the JanYOUary calendar and it's almost the end of it :D In december of last year i began the old beginners calendar and I did pretty good this month, really hard, but I loved it :) good luck everyone ^^

I always do that!! Whenever I see a short amount of videos I think "oh my workout will be short today" and then it ends up being an hour anyways because short videos = more intensity = more breaks = more time spent. Lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I saw how short this playlist was, and I thought to myself "maybe I should add some more cardio!" Hahaha... I just finished and I am dead, so I think I won't be adding extra cardio today! These 5 videos were enough!

I remember when I started her calendar the beginning of this month, I could never do the double leg lifts. Now I can do them no problem! Makes me feel so accomplished. :)

I just can't do those double leg lifts! Especially the ones where we have to lift our head also...It kills me every time. I'm looking forward to the day I finally do a proper double leg lift though. That'll be a good day!

Same here. But maybe it's because our abs aren't as strong as our legs, so the legs try to do most of the work?

Beginner's Calendar 2.0 Day 15! I made it to week 3! Yay!
My motivation for starting this workout was so low because it's the mid-autumn festival today so I ate a lot of food (and mooncakes), but I did it! Lol

One of my resolutions is to be able to do the splits! I'm working on it by practicing a few times every week and also trying to squeeze yoga into my schedule once a week. :) I am already feeling more flexible, so I know I will be able to do it one day! :)

Can you please give us some tips on how to fit exercise into the busy-student life? I really want to do all of these workouts, but there's just so much school work to do!
Good question.Because not only the people who work have problems with finding time to workout.My schedule in the university is insane and sometimes I spend 12 hours at class.No time at all.Only that I found it usefull to workout sometimes at 6 or 7pm.

This is a really great starter for me. Im a single mum of two so finding time when I actually have energy is really difficult. And its the area in which I want to improve so "Thanks so much"!
I wouldn't call this a new year resolution but more of a whole lifestyle change but I plan to improve my fitness by trying to get in at least a 5 min workout everyday and hopefully work my way up to more extensive workouts. Continue to eat clean and really remove toxins from my body. Keep up my health routine of Chiro, massage and homeopathics. And really step up my korean language level.
Well these are my goals for this year and thanks for the workout!
3 years later and this is still my favorite blogilates ab video! Quick, intense, hits all the muscle groups, fun, and no weird contorsions that hurt! I'm looking at you, eagle crunches!

This little workout is really good!!! I often watch videoes that are suppost to flaten your stomach but I dont feel it in my stomach but with this video I really can feel my abs burning!! Such a great feeling
