- Sledaddicz Mike takes a look at the new E-linQ system from BRP for model year 2021. This accessory is compatible with all Rev Gen4 Ski-Doo's. The E-linQ combines the DESS cord with your heated visor plug. The end result is a system that seamlessly fits into the sled, and allows you to have one cord that doubles as your key and your heated visor plug.

Just finished installing it. No big deal. Gota remove the hood though. Took about 60 minutes from start to finish. Use template from instructions and make sure your print is to scale.

Perfect for my wife I don't know how many times shes unplugged the dess key only to forget about the heated shield cord and walk away and wreck the helmet cord

I agree! Unfortunately we had it installed by the dealer before we picked it up. Check out instructions.brp.com for info on how to install. I took a look and it seems pretty simple but nonetheless is still a 30 min to an hr process
I installed mine, very easy!
I installed mine also last week. I used the rubber gasket to mark the holes to be drilled. Everything lines up when doing it this way.

Hey Jason! Yup that would be nice. It's hard because Skidoo has so many different models and it's unreasonable for them to make elinq compatible with sleds over 5 years old. Cheers, Jesse
Would like to see a review on the E Linq after you have used it for a year. Was it worth the extra money? I always just run a wire from the battery. But this looks real cool. Patiently waiting for my new one to arrive.

Just have your dealer install a visor wire kit $35.
That's what we used to run but we both had them come loose and its nice to have one cord for everything. Elinq is awesome. Cheers, Mike
So when u order that does it come with another key as well? And if so is it programmed for your sled?
No it doesn't come with another key. You cut the original dess cord, and fasten the dess to the elinq cord.
