How To? | Installing E-LinQ on a 2022 Ski-Doo Mach Z | Step by Step Install for a Wide Body Gen4

- Mike and Jesse walk you through how to install the E-LinQ accessory on your Ski-Doo Gen4. The placement of the wiring is a little different when installing it on a narrow body Gen4 (i.e. 600R, 850, 600EFI), but all the other steps are the same! This install is quite simple and just by following our steps, you will be able to do it yourself very easily!

thank you for the video, i hate push pins ... what i did was file the four attachment points down to be just under flush with the inside of the body panel and then threaded # 7 sheet metal screws with a washer head into the plastic nubs to hold the elinq tight to the body panel

It was difficult to thread the wire from the underside to the topside. I used a flashlight to find a path in a similar spot, but my hood was slightly different. It was a tight spot so I removed a couple of screws. I then threaded a length of weed whacker cord (what I had on hand) through, then zip tied it to the switch cord, levered up gently with a pry tool and pulled the cord through the tight gap.

Nice video I’ll be doing the same on my 22 xrs 850. Wish you guys made it so we can see where you hooked up the other end to. Where does it connect to? Content is great! 👍🏾
It connects up on the left side of the sled. You will see a plug that's up by the steering post and is zip tied on. It comes with a y splitter harness that connects to that unused plug and then you just simply connect it to the elinq wire. Mike
Great video fellas! I am considering getting the E-LinQ for my 2022 renegade. Curious about the nature of power delivery to heated visor. Does the E-LinQ provide constant power regardless of rpm (i.e idle)? Doesn't the RCA out on the sled only activate power at something like 2500 rpm? Reason I ask if when cold and you stop to check map etc at idle my current visor starts fogging up fast when I have the rca plug to visor...soon as I get going fog is gone.
Hey Alex. Yep constant power as long as the sled is running. Nothing to do with engine RPMs with elinq. Cheers, Jesse
Do you have any video on how to add a 2 up seat /backrest with heated hand grips.I been wondering how to take the tank off my 900 ace xrs to run the long harness to the back rest
Hey Rich! Unfortunately I do not. I have added the 2 up seat and backrest before but never with the heated grips. I will say it is completely unnecessary to remove the gas tank. You just need to remove the seat and the wire goes under the seat to the back. Cheers, Jesse

Hey Guy! You are right. We missed that. I apologize. The plug n play connector sits under the left side of the steering column. You can use that to plug in the e-linq connector. Cheers, Jesse
Do you think it would matter if a 1 1/8” (29mm) hole was drilled instead of a 1” (25mm)? It doesn’t seem like that hole needs to be exact, just had to be big enough to pass the cables through. I just don’t have a 1” in my kit…
It didn’t matter, doesn’t need to be exact for the big hole

Yes we missed that! There is a plug n play connection that sits directly beneath the left side of the steering post that you can use to plug the elinq into. Cheers, Jesse
You forgot to show where to plug the wire harness into on the sled before you put it back together.
Hey Disma! You are right. We have more install videos coming in a couple weeks that show where to plug it in. Basically, directly under where the hood secures to the chassis (in front of the handlebar), on the brake side, there is a plug n play connection to use. Cheers, Jesse
