It wasn't even close to being stuck... he's a novice rider and afraid of burying that big beast. All he had to do was back it up the first time, get back on it and hammer it. She would have launched right out of there. It takes mileage to figure that stuff out, though, and he'll get the hang of it soon enough.

I don’t get my Scandic stuck very often, but when I do, I find that sitting on the sled gives me better traction.
Me neither, just have to pick the right place to stop sometimes. Deep wet spring snow is when I have gotten stuck with my Skandic.

Some of them do, but in this case, no need of a winch, he was never stuck...

If he didn't have that damned back seat on it you flip onto the seat on your belly and get the weight back. That rear seat causes a lot of issues.
