Shot start models with the touchscreen have a programming anomaly. Yes if unplug and plug avian it will reset. Also have seen low voltage in the little 5l battery on top of the boost juice

trail seat bag also works on G5 narrow. best bag in my opinion holds a ton. tool kit, tow strap, saw extra gloves and spare drink. I rarely use my 19+3L tunnel bag day to day, drink and other spare glove hat and snacks goes in the glovebox extension.

Polaris Ski rubbers align the skis "toe down", that causes the skis to wear in the spot you indicated, pretty sure it's all polaris skis, unless they use different rubbers for the Gripper ski. Many videos on "shimming" the polaris skis to combat the heavy toe wear by lifting the toe of the ski slightly.. Beautiful Assault, I also love the color/paint combo. I hope we get the chance to ride the Abitibi canyon this year, watched your video, setting up signage and volunteering. Nice to see someone who truly raises the sport by action and setting a good example.

I was wondering with all the 4 stroke experience you have cumulated now, would you still go with snow trackers or would the bergstrom skegs work on the 4 strokes almost as good as the snow trackers? I heard the snowtrackers catch in trailer ramp door gaps or crossing a train track can be a real chore so I was looking for a good non darting carbide. Thanks!

Jesse, totally agree with the shot starter sentiment! It's honestly like a magic button! No sound, no multiple turnovers from the cylinders; it just starts!!

not a true GPS if you have no signal or WIFI it cant track your ride like a stand alone GPS

Iv been riding turbo sleds since 09. Not a 2 stroke 4 stroke of course Z1turbos tuned making up to 300 hp. Ever since i felt the power of a turbo sled nothing like it. Rode a boost for a little bit but not enough to say much about it. My father has some doos ones 850 i ride it sometimes great sled very fast. His is a 19 it goes over 110 no problem really pulls hard. Im a cat guy but i like doos and plolaris all building great sleds today. Great video thanks for sharing

What is the breakin, Im hearing 500-800km. Was at a dealer Saturday, thats a large percentage of sled ownership for most, not to mention short season. I have 2017 and 2022 Sidewinders, was running 200km/hr out of the box . I know its not apples to apples, but I almost would rather buy a trurbo comp already broken in. Isnt the turbo on an 850 the most expensive option

i think Lynx Rave GLS is more fun and less heavy steering

Is the BRP Go app up to snuff now? 🤔 I've never tried it yet in Minnesota on my '22 Backcountry X 850.

So far the general consensus is the 850T lynx is a way more fun sled to ride (according to the internet ***) but that the comp package rails corners better.

@Jesse you’re so right about the smart shocks I hated mine cause it took all the playfulness out of the sled

I dont have a sled but itf i did it would and older one something with soul like a 800 triple something that sounds like a sled.

Would be cool to see a drag race between the MXZ and the Backcountry and maybe a general thoughts comparison between the two to get yours guys’ opinion on which one you like more. Another idea would be the Lynx with the 900 turbo compared to the MXZ comp turbo to see which you prefer, 2 stroke turbo or 4 stroke turbo. Do you have any friends that have a Polaris VR1 Boost to compare the MXZ to?

I had a 24 Comp and now a 25 Comp. They do make more power after break-in. My 24 woke up significantly after about 800km. I'm like you, not finding a big difference on the front suspension. It's definitely heavier steering than my 24 with the new skis. I am at about 600 km now and just like my 24 I am loving the 25. The Comp, to me, is the best Doo to date. 🍻

I see you have the driving lights and extra bright lights as well. How do they work for you...I just bought a 24 Ren XRS and picking it up on Tuesday. I had them installed as welly the dealer. I have the driving lights on my current 16 Renegade Adrenaline and really like them. This is why I wanted them right off the bat. Great video, I like all you videos.

I wear glasses and I haven’t had any luck finding reviews that discuss which helmet is best designed for those who wear glasses. If anyone has any information for me please share it. I’m considering either the mission or advex but I don’t want to pull the trigger if they won’t work well with wearing glasses. Thanks

How do you guys like the TEK Vests as far as feel and body support. Does it help support your shoulders and back?

If your going to award 2 points for gear oil change then you need to give 3 points to vr1 for spark plug change. You can suck the oil out of the vr1 and can be done in a warm shop. Try changing spark plugs on trail in zero degree weather!! Looks like a bit of bias to me.
