For general use, I suggest first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. For workouts, I would add them to your water during workout, or first thing after workout on an empty stomach. You will always get the best absorption of essential aminos if you take them before a meal instead of after. If you are recovering from an injury, you can increase the frequency of dosing (3x a day) to assist the rebuilding of bone or soft tissue.
