Where does self-esteem come from? (how I found my confidence)

Self-esteem is our sense of self-worth and value, but where does it come from?
There is no universally agreed upon model to explain self-esteem but in this video I wanted to talk about the model that spoke to me the most, and how it has led me to understand myself and my confidence.
