How To Black Out Chrome Window Trim - Vinyl Wrap + Knifeless Tape

Black out your window trim in 9 very easy steps! No cutting on the vehicle paint as long as you have knife-less tape and the proper vinyl wrap. Follow my instructions and you can get rid of the chrome on your vehicle in no time!
What you need:
1. Vinyl Wrap
2. Knifeless Tape
3. Microfiber Cloth
4. Soap/Water Mix & Rubbing Alcohol
5. Squeegee
6. Tuck Tool
7. Heat Gun

Man! I never thought of using knifeless tape to cut vinyl, this is definitely one of the most if not THE BEST & SAFE way to apply vinyl to chrome without damaging the paint. Really helpful!

3M 2080 series vinyl and i got it from my local vinyl store but you might be able to find it on amazon or look around ur city to see who sells vinyl

Good video. You should also try 3m edge sealer which stops the edges lifting off due to environmental shrinkage.

3M edge sealer look like it would be a major pain to work with, and not really necessary if you follow the video's instructions (using a heat gun as recommended) not to mention an unnecessary expense overall....IMHO

Personally I would have liked it a lot more if the trims were brushed stainless steel instead of chrome. I don't like the black plastic trims either though, it must be metal.
