    Story Summary :-
    Op’s uncle is arrogant and boasts about his money and lifestyle. He spares no chance of humiliating Op for living a life of minimalism. But his uncle wasn’t aware that Op recently discovered his uncle’s embezzlement of money at his grandpa’s company. Op, his dad, and uncle work at Grandpa’s company. Grandpa is very strict towards his sons and grandsons and would tolerate no excuse regarding his company. Op is about to reveal his uncle’s fraud, but overhears his uncle and grandpa talking. Grandpa decides to promote Op to a higher position, but Uncle prevents that from happening as he tells Grandpa that Op is not ready for it. Op gets furious and after his uncle leaves, he goes to his grandpa and tells him everything. Grandpa asks for proof, and Op comes up with an idea. Op makes a deal with his grandpa by saying that if he can prove that his uncle has embezzled the money, Grandpa must promote him in exchange. Grandpa agrees. Op investigates and collects proof. But something more shocking is revealed. The uncle is not only embezzling money from Grandpa’s company but also working
    with a rival company to get better deals and tells them the plan that Grandpa makes. At Thanksgiving, Uncle makes snide remarks about Op’s modest lifestyle. But Op collects everything and shows it to Grandpa who then confronts the uncle. In front of the entire family, Grandpa disowns his son and calls the police on him too. Op knows from someone that his uncle had gone to a rival company that also kicked him out as he was useless to them. Uncle loses everything in the end.

    I'm a woman who could care less about clothes or shoes and never wear makeup. I live in the country and feed the wild life, play with my dogs on my property. I never go out with friends, my mom is my best friend. My husband and I go out to eat every Saturday.

    Its crazy - I didnt realize until moving into an RV with my boyfriend that I prefer a minimalist lifestyle. Growing up in a large family, it never occured to me how much peace I find in my moments alone, until I had them.
    To me, theres NOTHING wrong with carving a piece of life thats just yours. And whatever the size, you find your peace within it.
    Edit: And if this story is real, it gives value to my minimalist billionaire character in my novels. 🤣👊

    There's NOTHING wrong with being a minimalist. In fact, you'd save lots that way, in both emotions AND money, so Idk what the uncle was complaining about, as OP's lifestyle didn't effect him.
    For OP's grandpa, he's an oddball. While I understand the value of hard work, it seems like he takes it TOO seriously, and thinks that a minimalist lifestyle = OP can't handle a higher position, which is a flawed mindset. I also don't approve of him valuing men over women for roles, or spoiling OP's cousin over himself, which looks like favoritism, or maybe he realizes the value of family now. Idk. I'm just glad he cut off OP's uncle.
    Speaking of OP's uncle, he's both evil and not smart, as criticizing others for something that doesn't effect you at all is already a low move. He tried to make promotions based on WHO you know rather than WHAT you know, which for any company is a recipe for disaster. OP is like a small glass, where a little water will go a long way, whereas his uncle is like a cup with a hole: No matter how much you pour in, the liquid will leak out. Dude has to learn about being thankful for what you have and minding your own business. I hope he realizes it in prison. Good luck finding enough ramen to get Gucci or something.
    OP's mom is an angel for guiding him, and as for OP himself... He's perfectly fine, and was even prior to this whole fiasco. Minimalist, but who values the feelings of others. That's a child who's so easy to raise, it makes parenting easy. Idk why conversations were had about him unless they were all positive, or wondering what to get for his birthday or Christmas.

      The most carefree and rich I was when I was a living minimalist. Organised and content, never owed any money 💰 because I was able to pay every bill as it arrived. I’ve never had a credit card either! I was able to pay off my dream car! Less is more sometimes, as my darling mum grew up that way and so taught me! It makes sense and is far better than conforming to a futile throw away lifestyle! Much more environmentally friendly also!
      I will never understand GREED and I surely don’t want to!

    There's nothing wrong with being a minimalist. It's not right to insult someone for being simplistic. Some people try to grab everything they can, and are miserable. Especially when the hard times hit. Embezzlement is nothing more than an ill gotten gain Embellishment.
    People should not: bully, insult, pester, taunt, disrespect, make fun of, or taking advantage of others. Don't hurt good people because nothing good comes out of it.
    OP was smart doing his due diligence and an investigation prior to talking to his grandfather about the situation. Such situations such as embezzlement is a serious allegation to accuse someone of. All of this could've easily backfired, especially since it involves a family oriented business. Dealing with family can be highly difficult as it is, and it's compounded with business.

    Not my family business, but I do have an uncle (not blood related) who shares a business with his brothers after their father had retired and passed down the business to his sons. From what I heard they have an equal percentage of ownership but don't get along very well. Outside of work, they go little to no contact with each other unless it involves their father. Even go as far as communicating through the employees rather than communicate directly in the workplace.

      @@erikamccall6741this whole thing Op tried to make himself seem like ‘it’s not that I lack ambition, I just don’t see the point in going after things when I’m grateful for what I have’. Rrriigghhtt! Ambition is something you need to grow. To desire something is to work hard to obtain it. Example: if you have a big family but a small home. Do you just keep letting you family suffer cuz ‘your ok with what you have’ or do you work hard for money to buy a bigger home for your family?

    I get AI mispronouncing words but…

  • @sharonlegge5465
    @sharonlegge5465 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +43

    if you are going to continue to narrate your stories you need to learn how to pronounce the words in these stories. Example, the o in the name Carlotta has the short sound not the long sound. You miss pronounce words constantly and it makes it very difficult to listen to them being butchered like that. For the most part your stories are very entertaining, but every time you mispronounce it's just so cringeworthy and you do it a lot. But on a high note you don't do it as much as the computer narrator programs. I can't listen to them at all they make so many mistakes.

    • @Khrysalis01
      @Khrysalis01 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I’m glad this constant mispronunciation of words and names is heard by others. Sometimes it gets so bad that I have to quit listening to the narration. It also seems as though to have ramped up lately. Because of this I haven’t been subscribed to this channel for over a year. Despite this, everyday I get the latest videos of this channel in my recommended list (and his other two channels) every day. 😂
      In fact it’s gotten so bad that this was the first video that I have watched since Thanksgiving.
      As I keep saying, this guy is lazy, he records the video, but doesn’t bother to edit it to catch those errors. I haven’t finished this one yet, but between “Car low tah “ and “Rep per mend “ over and over I’m not going to finish this one either. Maybe I’ll try to watch one of these videos again after Christmas sometime. 🎄Maybe Santa will give this dude a dictionary or something and he’ll learn to narrate better. 🤞🏼
