    In regards to Lego Karen, I will never understand these people who are *convinced* that once you hit adulthood you have LESS freedom to enjoy life, rather than you're finally able to do all the crap your parents wouldn't allow. Maybe she went straight to a controlling spouse and never felt that freedom? And now "Bitterness must be spread! Muwah ha ha haaaaa"
    And then that last lady, jeebz. Sometimes I wish I could pop in as the angel on their shoulder and whisper: "hey Karen, if you just laugh along and Get Over It, they will forgive you, maybe even like you a little. This is how we move through tge tricky waters of society, let's practice, repeat after me, " I'm sorry about earlier, idk *What* in the Hangry came over me, can we please start over?"

    Hibachi restaurant story, you got to love those Hibachi chefs! I literally have never had a bad time at a Japanese steakhouse in my entire life! I mean these dudes are moving so fast spinning Cutlery spinning spatulas squirting sake out into people's mouths throwing shrimp people never missing and always on the beat with a joke! I mean even though some of them have an extremely thick Japanese Korean Asian whatever country in Asia there from they may have a very thick accent, but they speak English perfectly so to hear them going off like very quickly telling jokes like rapid-fire jokes while they're cooking some extremely good food is just it's a treat! Like I just wish it wasn't so expensive but it's worth it it's something that you can do maybe once in awhile fit into your budget and you know you're going to have a good time. I wouldn't suggest going there if you're thinking you're going to get like a huge steak dinner and mashed potatoes and whatnot, because the portions are not large and sometimes if you have to upgrade you know if you want to upgrade to like the Kobe beef or whatnot or the filet mignon you're going to pay more but you pay for what you get and you get for what you pay for because that meet anytime I've ordered the filet mignon or the Kobe beef has been like butter melting in my mouth so good! And unfortunately I have been assaulted by a Karen in the wild at a Hibachi restaurant and wouldn't you know it, the freaking manager I'm talkin superhero manager he did have a cape on! Came flying in and threw her and her entire party which was a bachelorette party mind you, right the F out on their asses! He didn't care that it was a bachelorette party he was like these people are here minding their own business having a good time and you just came in here like you own the place and you expect everyone to bow down to you because you're getting married he's like either shut up or get out, but they didn't want to shut up so he threw them out! LOL I just love love Hibachi who doesn't?

    Heh. I had a Karen customer once. He'd filled his trash cans with concrete and I couldn't empty them. He chased me down and told me I needed to come back and empty his trash cans. I told him, nope, can't do that. Filling them with concrete is a no-go. He says then I have to come back and pull the concrete out and take the other stuff. I said, nope, I can't mess around with that. He says fine, if I'm so lazy, I can come back and wait while _he_ does it. I said, nope, the _wait_ part is the problem, I have a busy day to finish out. We go back and forth a bit and finally says, "If you're rude to my son 'again'"--I wasn't in the first place, and when the bosses called, even the son said I wasn't--"you might not leave my house." I replied, "Yes sir, I understand completely sir." What I meant was that of _course_ I would never leave his house again--because I would never go to it again. Of which, I promptly called my boss and informed him. Naturally he wasn't happy, but I wasn't going back to a place where I've been threatened. In the end, there was nothing he could've done about it but fire me, which since I was only refusing this _one_ guy, would've caused him way more trouble than it was worth. Also despite my occasional issues, he liked me. Anyway, that guy randomly died later. To my great surprise, his family--tired of paying 5 times our price, I guess--begged us to serve them again, promising he was gone. I agreed to go back, but only after the office found and confirmed his obituary in the papers.
    Yep. Threaten me and I will refuse to lift one finger for you until the day you die. And if I can find out a way to mess up your life even _worse_ than that I won't hesitate for a second or ever feel one scrap of guilt. Nobody in my life has ever threatened me and liked what happened next.

And, I've seen videos of Adam Savage, you know, the star of, "Mythbusters" also build lego sets on his podcast. So...a lot of people really enjoy building these puzzles. One of the best cops I ever met was a tiny slip of a woman without an ounce of body fat. She was a black belt in one of the martial arts (I can’t remember which one), a knife expert, self-defense instructor, and just a very, very good cop. and great human. She also had long grey hair that she wore in a ponytail and if you looked at her in street clothes you’d never immediately jump to “cop.” It’s the 21st century; cops don’t have a “look” anymore.

    I think there is a conspiracy behind story 3. I think the Norwegian government, knowing she was unhinged, sent her on a mission to the USA "to root out police corruption". Assuming that she would behave exactly as she did, thereby earning many years in a barred or padded cell. And substantially reducing the overall drama level in Noway by her absence.

    that first story sound like it might have been a "stacked" box(why else would she need that specific one)... I used to work at a toy store a long time ago, and one thing I was asked to check when "prettying" the shelfs(pushing everything to the front and make them line up straight) was the weight of the lego boxes. I was told that some customers would open a small box, pry open the corner of a big box and put the content from the small box into the big one... then just leve the small one in the back of a nearby shelf or somewhere else... and then they would temporarely leve the big one on the shelf to come and take it later... If you questioned the weight or bashed corner(some would try to use double tape to make it less obvious) they could say that they just found it on the shelf...
    At least that was what I was told... wasn't there long enough to see this myself...

And even a judge will laugh at her for trying to show an altered video as evidence. I bet she's ranting online that the non profit is corrupted as well and because she didn't want part in it she was kicked out. Nothing about the Karen's logic in the first story makes. She is an adult shopping for lego so her "they are too old" logic makes no sense, they clearly aren't stocking shelves if they are taking things off of them and putting them in their cart nor are they cleaning since no part of cleaning during the day would involve taking product off the shelves for no real reason.
    Also if the cart WAS being used for cleaning/stocking/whatever, she wouldn't be allowed to take it anyway since it would be in use for their job. All of this over them taking one single package of a certain product off a shelf.
    That's not even entitlement there, that is legitimately a complete breakdown of sense and logic. How does someone see someone walking around a store putting things into a shopping cart and come to the conclusion that they somehow aren't a customer?

  • @anopinionatedtakeonreality2074
    @anopinionatedtakeonreality2074 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    "His cart is filled with random things. Therefore he works here!" So by Karen's logic, most people only go into stores to buy one type of item at a time. Or maybe the way it works is that people buy everything they need when going into said store and their list contains random things. You know, the things they need.
