To the girl protecting the 12 YO. You are NOT a coward. You protected that kid even though you were scared. That is the definition of courage. Being scared and still doing what needs to be done.
Absolutely. u/Polluxander (OP) took a significant risk by distracting the belligerent perp's attention from the child and onto herself. This perp sounds like the kind of guy not even his mother would miss if he mysteriously disappeared.
Samo Hong and Jackie Chan can make weapons out of something within their reach. In a tv series.... Samo Hong, in a cop exchange program, was taunted by a cop in the police station to assault him using a chalkboard eraser as a bet... in front of the other cops. The cop was all white and stunned afterwards. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If a guy still needs to ask for your phone number, he’s broadcasting to the world that he really doesn’t know you… and certainly ain’t your boyfriend. That dude was criminally psychotic!
Story 5: I've hear of posts where little children, sometimes against their will, are told by their relatives to steal since said children can't go to jail if caught (or something like that). Looks like this kid has been dealing with it for so long that she found a way out when the cop came over and had the Karen dragged away to the slammer. Hope the little kid finds better parents
There actually a logic behind it all because companies like Walmart often discourage staff against chasing thefts since there on the hook for any injuries on any workers along potentially getting sue for any children that get injure when stopping said theft.
@@alantran4901 Add to that, at least in America, not sure about other countries, it is near impossible to charge young children with crimes. It takes a pretty serious pattern of crimes for a child to end up with charges, because until a certain age, they are considered too immature and young to understand what they are doing is wrong, or are still in the category of "young enough to be influenced" as well as just not wanting to ruin a child's future over something that could be seen as small, or isn't believed will happen again
As a side note, it sounds like the cops knew the teen. Maybe she has been doing this all over town, and the cops finally caught her in the middle of it, thanks to little sister tripping and upsetting the timing of the caper.
*Story 2:* Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the willingness of big scary looking dudes like OP who are willing to spontaneously act as a bodyguard for any scared woman at a moment's notice. I've never been a situation where I was able to do something like that, but it makes me feel secure knowing that almost every big muscular dude will protect me from a creep at a moment's notice. I prefer to defend myself, but the interaction is less likely to escalate if I'm being protected by someone with big muscles.
Ive noticed the scariest looking dudes tend to be the biggest teddy bears, while protective. Its the pretty boys that dont have any warnings you got to be worried about, it seems.
@Rhaenarys oh ABSOLUTELY. My parents inherited an old metal fabrication factory and all the big beefy dudes there were absolute teddy bears who babied the heck out of me growing up. At my old job, we had this big, scary mechanic who literally used a custom branding iron on *his own arm* to make a raised skull tattoo & he loved showing me pictures of his tiny white fluffy Pomeranian. The scarier they look, the sweeter they usually are
My oldest son is a bookkeeper at a local grocery store and one of his bosses is a girl I graduated with and she told me when they close together he always wants til she's done, even if he done and walks her to her car. They close at midnight but are usually there til 1 or 2. Makes me proud that late husband and I taught our 2 boys (they will be 24 and 17 this year) to do things like that!
The last story really made me chuckle. I am one 7 children. Our big weekly outing was a trip to the library. On one outing our mother managed to grab the wrong kid and leave one of her own at said library. At the time we were all a bunch of cotton tops. She counted heads, told everyone to get in the car and headed home. When we arrived home, she discovered one of the cotton tops wasn't hers. She asked faux brother, why did you get in the car? Reply, "you told me to." Mother was a force of nature who must be obeyed. Back to the library. Explanation and apology to upset mother and police and library staff. Everyone understood, no arrests, no banning from Library. Brother who was left behind . . . calmly waiting for Mom to return and pick him up.
I'm the youngest of 4 kids, and when I was little I was accidentally left behind once after we visited with my uncle, aunt, and their kids (I was downstairs in the play room playing with the cousins when my parents and siblings left), and nobody noticed for quite a few minutes until my parents asked me how I'd enjoyed the visit and got no response. Fortunately no harm done (I was young enough that I don't have any memory of this happening myself).
When I was about 8 my family, including aunt, uncle their 5 kids and my parents and 3 siblings went to Carlsbad caverns. When they left each van thought I was in the other and I was left there. They realized about an hour later and rushed back to get me. I was wandering around looking at things and didn’t even know they had left me until they got back.
Story 2: Man, OP did a good deed there and saved her from a creep. Just talking for a small bit doesn't mean you can just follow someone afterwards or something. I hope that she never sees him again
Story 2: you have to wonder what kind of mental gymnastics that stalker was doing to think that a few minutes of talking would automatically make the girl his girlfriend. Good on security for doing their job and stop the stalker before it becomes a horror story.
Yep, not every woman is a country gal. I keep a framing hammer and a survival machete on my passenger side. No idea why, but I've never been harrassed.
i doubt he genuinely thought she was his girlfriend, i think he was just knowingly lying outta his ass thinking he either intimidated her enough to say yes or had somehow charmed her enough to agree to the lie to get him out of trouble
Story 1: do not grab someone, you don't know their history. If some random stranger tried to grab me, I'd probably have a PTSD flasback, my reflexes kick into fight, and start pushing back like I was being killed, probably resulting in bodily harm to one or both of us
Ten 2 one. If I got turned around like that, my first reaction will be to flinch or push. The first is going to result in a back handed slap. That's what happens when I flinch. And the second Is it going to be a hard push. Former linebacker And still got the large body and muscle strength in my mid 30s. So for someone like her that will result hers flying! Karen's and kevin seem to have this mentality that they have protection From the consequences of touching someone And then being shocked that a physical response was done. Still remember this crazy guy who threw a chair At this person just because they turned their back on them. I think it's more they had the gall to make excuses for the chair throwing cause "she turned her back to me" his words. And to make it funny, dumbass had WARRANTS & Past history of this behavior. So off the prison he went. Some people are stupid I 🤬
Related to the stalker story, I once had a coworker that thought I had the hots for him simply because I talked to him one day on break. I worked in the department that boxed frozen packages of chicken for stores, he drove the dock mule. A few weeks after I made the mistake of talking to him I heard that a guy (they used his name) was upset because he thought I wanted him. I had to have him pointed out to me. At the same time he was interested in another coworker that was married and she had no interest in him. It was not a fun time working around someone with such delusions.
Was in not too dissimilar a situation at work myself, though in my case it was a male coworker that had the hots for a female coworker for literally no other reason than she was a redheaded Wiccan, and he could never understand why she didn't return his feeling. And his crush on her didn't keep him from thinking he was quite the ladies' man in general - at an informal Christmas party one year that some of the coworkers held, I heard (as I didn't attend) that he reportedly tried to flirt with every woman there, even the ones who were there with their boyfriends/husbands. Wasn't fun to put up with him just for that, but he also managed to get a promotion (to the team lead) before he started showing his true colors, and then spent most of his time walking around in other areas in the company and talking to random people instead of doing his job. He was later demoted after management got fed up with him enough and was then was part of the first group that was let go when the Great Recession hit and the company started downsizing, and then he spent a couple of months coming in every so often begging for his job back, claiming the rest of us were just a bunch of backstabbers who were after his team lead job.
Having been a camp counselor, I don't understand how you leave one behind or try to take an extra kid. All you have to do is count. You count when you load up to go so you make sure you are taking everyone with you. You count at various points throughout the trip to make sure you still have everyone. You count at the gathering place before leaving and you count once everyone is loaded into vehicles so you know they all got in. If Karen counted at the gathering place, she wouldn't have put herself at risk of attempted kidnapping.
We always did a head count before we even left for the pool, then once again on the way out. We knew all names and faces and we had 35-40 kids most days. No one was ever left behind.
But what happens if you lose one kid and "kidnap" another at the same time? The head count will be correct, but how long will it take to sort out the mess?
The fifth story reminds me of someone who moved to my town for about a year when I was around 8. A kid a bit younger than me and his single mom. The mom would tell the kid to go into stores and steal stuff for her, then chew him out for not getting it right (wrong flavor, size, whatever). I don't know if it was from his mom's influence or what, but the kid would wander around town and steal whatever caught his attention, whether it had any kind of value or not.
Story 2: Yeah. I've come at this from the other angle. Lady asked me to escort her to her car because a guy was following her. He approached us when we got to the car and he started screaming. I got between them, called police and waited. Turns out... it was HIS car, she was HIS girlfriend and they'd had an argument in the store. She got pissy and decided to get a 'big guy' (AKA me) to intervene to "teach him a lesson by denying knowing him and accuse him of stalking her". They were BOTH still screaming when the cops told me I was free to go and they'd handle it from there.
Yeah I get you. Is people get happy when you don't want to get involved in stuff. And then you hear A story about a guy who tried To help this girl who's being abused Only for her boyfriend to beat him up, toss him off a bridge. And then she lied to protect the boyfriend! This is what we live in where people don't want to get involved Because it could cost them heavily in those they tried to help Usually Turn out to be somebody who they never should have gotten involved with. Seriously people need to stop basically involving other people. I get that there are genuine cases. But those are pretty fucking rare So you're taking a gamble That you are helping someone in need and not somebody who's just Getting you involved For their own benefit Aren't getting you caught in the middle of something they never should have gotten you involved in I didn't have no remorse and say it's your own fault before getting involved As a way to absolve themselves! Some people sadly have this well if it is a case of That person was really a danger then I don't want to feel that i'm wrong by abandoning someone in need. I tell them good on them but remember to accept the consequences of your actions!
Man the story with the sisters that has broken me emotionally. For an older sister to put her younger sister through that and the parents aren't doing squat the older sister got what she deserves
As someone with HUGE issues with random people touching me I’d honestly just drop to the ground and start screaming like a banshee. I might look insane, but NO ONE should be touching me without my consent
As a Camp Professional, that last story honestly scares me. ABC - Always Be Counting. It terrifies me when people don’t do that because literally *anything* could happen if you lose or gain a kid.
As always - unless it's in the defense of someone else if you lay hands on someone you don't know, you deserve whatever happens to you next - be that laid out, launched across the aisle or shot in self defense. Today people are so goddamn crazy that you never know why they're grabbing on to you, and as the saying goes I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six.
Story 2 reminds me of something I did to a costumer when I was working retail. I was a Bagger at a small retail chain when one costumer asked for someone to help her to her car because someone was following her throughout the store. We didn’t have security so I volunteered and walked her to her car and help put her bags away to make it seem that was the reason why I out there. We saw the guy get into his car and I took a picture of his car and license plate to give to the manager. She got home safely as I “accidentally” stop the cart in front of his car as she pulled out to fix my shoe who suddenly bothered me for some reason. 😉 I gave the manager the information from my phone and I assume he made a police report as the lady came back a week later and seemed to be doing well.
For Story 5, I really felt bad for the young girl for having a horrible sister. I wonder if their mom was in on it, too. Hopefully she went to stay with a good foster family or relatives who treat her better. I have a story related to this. I use to work with a big grocery chain during my high school years and part of my job was to check on customer's payment receipts and checking for hidden items, but we had customers who would protest so there was a security guard standing right behind them if they were to get physical. The most shoplifted item was baby diapers, which can be crazy expensive for certain brands. One time, a young kid tried to take a bag full of lemons, but the crazy part was that they ended up all over the floor at the exit! The security guard just shook his head in disappointment at the kid. Nowadays, the store just has security sensors to alert everyone of an unpaid item. It was fun most of the time working there.
@@evelynhubbart6811 I'm just saying...even though the OP didn't say anything about the mom, yet I want to bet that the mom had something to do with it. Fluff and I could be wrong. The sister was said to be 17, legal age to drive.
@@dreamsofparis5535 but what if the mom isn't even in the picture? They could live with the dad? The narrative is always that the crappy kids are the moms fault, which is just not the case.
1) LOL, one way to handle it, but honestly, I would have called the police and filed a complaint for assault. The store probably had cameras and a recording of her yelling at, and grabbing OP twice. 2) Good for OP for coming to the aid of that young woman and protecting her from that psycho. 3) OP did well, neither cowardly or ineffective. 4) Well, probably not the best way to handle this, but I'm glad it turned out alright and hopefully this will treat that guy to behave better in future. 5) It sure is a good thing this happened and the sister got caught. Hopefully lit leads to little sis being rescued from this horrible situation. 6) Wow, that person should be reported to whomever she works for to let them know how incompetent and awful she is.
Dont believe that story that quickly, OP themselves said they paid for their gas, AFTER they had put it into their car, yet claimed they wouldnt start the pump for the first one.
I remember at a school excursion one of the teachers scolded a random lady who just so happened to be wearing the same colour as the school uniform. The lady wasn't doing anything bad, she was just walking by. The moment the teacher realised she was like, "Oops." Students were telling the teacher that she might have some kind of compulsion to scold. Her response was something like, "Yeah. Probably. This is what happens when you're a teacher for too long."
Story 4 honestly belongs in a revenge subreddit. The dude ripped OPs headphones off his head and OP friggin' ROBBED HIM! It's an entertaining outcome, though.
Story 1. Whenever someone grabs you by the shoulder & spins you around, make sure that when you spin you fall directly into them. And make sure that you basically tackle them into whatever is around you. And try to make sure that they get hurt . Then you can always point out that you were thrown off balance because they decided to grab your shoulder & spin you around. You are 100% not liable. 😎
Gas station employee story: If I had gotten yanked around, that coffee that I had just gotten for myself would have been all over the person who grabbed me! Not a bad revenge overall, but her yanking would have made a coffee spill seem like an accident. Creepy guy story: OP, the only downside I see (which wasn't the case... this time) is that the girl could have been using you to get away from a non-uniformed loss prevention agent of the store. She could have been shoplifting. Just be aware of the possibility in the future. Target story: OP, you still did well by protecting the kid and his family! Headphones story: While I don't blame you for your immediate reaction, essentially robbing him was a bit over the top. You should have yelled for a manager and had him/her review the security tapes, THEN tell him to pay for your headphones or for the police to be called. But I'm pretty sure you've figured that out by now. Energy drink story: Yeah, with a big sister like that I truly worry what the kid's home life is like. I can understand why she was scared. Pool story: Ummm... aren't you supposed to KNOW the kids you're watching or at least KNOW the head count? Good grief!
Last story: I once went missing on the subway during a school trip I got to sit with the driver for the way back. Made my day more than the visit to the zoo..
Story 1: seeing Karens mistake people for employees because they clean up after themselves is the most heartbreaking thing. Like, is basic human decency and compassion limited to things you are getting paid for? Can you not care about the employees having to clean up after you unless you are an employee? It honestly makes me lose a bit of faith in humanity...
Worse than that is when someone is helping someone out of the kindness of their heart and someone else starts harassing them assuming they're an employee. Not only not believing that people can just help people for the sake of it, but harassing them for it.
12:01 🤬🤬🤬 *Oh hell no! If anyone EVER were to scream at my 12 years old son like that, it would have been his first and last time!* *I don't give a damn if he was drunk or not! All the more reason why he should have been REKT!*
I've never really understood why certain customers feel that they have the right to get physical with store employees. I've seen so many "I don't work here lady" stories that involve customers being grabbed, spun around, had their headphones grabbed ect... Even if the person in question was a store employee and was purposely blowing them off, that doesn't give you the right to do that. That's why all Karens and their male counterparts who inflict violence on others need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
Story 1: " Who do you think *you* are, putting your hands in someone without consent? Touch me again and you'll draw back a stump! And if you even think about reprisal, or *lying your way out of this* , you've been on camera since you walked in. Back off, NOW."
Story three reminds me of a saying I was told when I was little: True bravery is not the absence of fear, true bravery is doing the right thing despite being afraid and wanting to run away.
1st story. If anyone grabs my arm and spins me around, I don't care who they are, the first thing they are going to meet is my clenched fist to their jaw. Any further action against me will result in my going full Hulk mode.
That story was the perfect example to Why kevins and karen should keep their fingers to themselves. The likely outcome is what happened there where The idiot got man handled. Plus it was smart of him did just hand the money over Then making this bigger than it is and getting himself into deeper trouble. Hopefully he learns to keep his hand to himself. Remind me of that story with the rich karen Who got a nasty taste of reality When she went up to a bunch of gang members And try her "Karen" ways on them. All she got was being held up by gun, A cruel reminder of her mortality And how small Her place in this world Is, And the loss of some of her flashy Jewelry And of course spoiling her nice clothes when she peed on herself. It's kind of hilarious in a dark way How she was so pathetic. Even the nasty gang members holding her up felt sorry for And let her go after taking some of her shit. Is a massively dangerous example of the asshole tax in place!
@kjrasberry725 Yup honestly It's why i'm willing to consider this everyone is shit here. The OP only in regards to the mugging and risking trouble on themselves. But I won't say shithead didn't deserve what happened. Really I'd rather OP NOT get in trouble as he broke their stuff. Even if they were an employee he still would have gotten in trouble for Purposely breaking Someone else Stuff. I wonder where he gets off. Did he assume The poster was a lazy employee who really needed this job. But was too lazy to be proper, so he was free to act out like he didn't because They couldn't afford to lose this job or something like that? Only conclusion I can come up with For why karen's and kevin's assumed, they can touch And assault However they want because they assume no One will get angry at them. I'm guessing because I just heard of a story of disneyland employee getting fired After arguing with customers Who were the aggressors. So it's stuff like that, which is why these idiots feel. They're enabled to act as they want And nobody can stop them. Until something like this happens And they realize how many of school their existence really is. It's why they're so Weak willed
Story 2: If she were actually his girlfriend, he would already have her number. I've heard stories about people trying to get someone arrested for "stalking", when that person is honestly their girlfriend/boyfriend, spouse, or even parents! But this one threw such a huge red flag that even Democrats and Republicans can agree he was lying. Thanks and blessings to police officers and their private counterparts, when they uphold the standard like this - or go beyond, as OP did.
I continue to be shocked at how many customers assault employees or people they perceive to be employees. It's mind-boggling. I'm a big guy; I have bad shoulders but, weirdly, zero pain until there's significant pressure on them, then OMG! Blinding 10/10 waves of pain. If someone grabbed me with their claws from behind, I would instinctively spin around and clock them in the side of their head, just to make the pain stop. And my doctor and physiotherapist would back me up.
From what I can tell the day to day running is often done by teenage kids, hardly the most responsible. Even on school trips I remember they'd buddy us up, tagged us with big homemade coloured paper badges and then about ten kids to a parent who went with us. They were not about to lose anyone of us.
I was at the beach with a camp one time (age ~8) and I noticed our bus acting like it was leaving so I ran over and got on and they said "why are you here?" I said "this is my bus!" and they said "we asked you if you were with us" and I said "who asked me, point them out" and they couldnt remember who talked to me.
I remember when I was around 10 and my older brother was going to take us to Magic Mountain. Now, they had this special going on that if you brought in so many 7 Up bottle caps, you get a free t-shirt. He drove to the store, gave me a bottle opener, and told me to get as many as I could and not to get caught. I think I had around a dozen before someone found out. I was not caught, though, as I was sneaky and high tailed it right out of there. Good times.
I can't stand guys like the store stalker from story 2. They see a girl they're interested in and just claim her like she's property. He hadn't even gotten as far with her as getting her number and he's already like "she's mine." It's Grade-A misogyny. Disgusting. It's right up there with guys who fight or compete over a woman as if she has no say over who she's interested in, and instead "to the winner goes the spoils." We're people, not property.
Story 3 : I would have called the cops on him and charged him with : harrasment, s3xual harrasment, assault on a minor. Etc.... EDIT : I don't condone violence. But i most certainly 100% condone ant form of self defence of yourself or a person in need.
I REALLY hope Target girl knows shes rhe exact opposite of a coward. After all, in the words of Ned Stark...sort of lol "fear is the only way you can be brave."
Last story reminds me of a Christmas season long ago... We had a private school in our neighbourhood, a lofty Dickensian-looking mansion full of young uniformed boys and strict teachers. I delivered for the local drugstore and got a peek inside once. Brrr! One evening, Grandma and I were in a department store, and she left me to my own devices in the Toy & Hobby section. I was wearing my dark blue winter jacket with my hair tucked down inside. I became aware of a troop of boys from the school, in their blue blazers, being escorted through the store by a woman of rather hawk-like countenance. An arranged Christmas shopping trip for boys who had signed up, I presumed. They didn't seem enthused as they poked around the area, only to be summoned back into line a few minutes later. The teacher scanned the aisles and displays: "I said come here!" she snapped, scowling my way. I just froze, continuing to look at something on the shelf. "COME. HERE!!" Pause. "I MEAN IT!!" I could see the boys smirking and stifling giggles as she angrily stalked toward me. She grabbed my jacket and spun me around - and found herself NOT holding a blue blazer and NOT looking at a preteen boy. "Oh! I -uh- sorry! Ha-ha!" she sputtered as she retreated to her charges, whose dour faces were now stifling out-loud laughter. She quickly led them off to another stop as they gave me smiles and thumbs-up. I grinned back. Happy Christmas, guys.
Story 2: I couldn't help but cheer when the employee saved the child, yet took the guy where he wanted, then disappeared. She let management do their job. Awesome! Good job Op.
In Story 3 with the drunk, the OP was 100% right in what she did, and is actually quite brave. I'd call it Distract, De-escalate and Disengage and make it official store policy. You distracted him from his victim, prioritised de-escalation over showing him he was in the wrong and you were in the right, then left the area as soon as it was safe to do so for yourself and others.
I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to be either parents or brothers/sisters, let alone be around kids (of course this is including those people obviously)
Tell em Fluff, keep your hands off of people no matter if they work somewhere or not keep your hands off of people out of anger and entitlement and without permission this dude almost got choked out because he thought he'd just snatch the ear buds out without any consequences 💯💯💯 No one is superior, we are all the same👁💯💯🤎🖤🤎🖤✌🏼✌🏼
That last bit. Hopefully the kid knows his home phone number and they could have called them letting them know the camp left their child behind. PSA: Parents make sure your children know their address and your phone number.
While I agree that all kids should know their names, parents names, phone # and address, no kid was left behind from the camp. The kid was with his godmother at the pool.
Story 3: OMG, I used to work for Target Mobile, too, and I heard about that story. That's crazy. You did a great job! I agree with the narrator. You were very brave.
🤬🤬💩🤬🤬 *Story 5 has me RAGING so bad!* *The first thing I want to know is.. Where in hell is the damn PARENTS?!?* *Why is a seventeen years old FORCING the little girl to steal?! And yes Fluff, I pray CPS gets involved and either the older sister is put in juvenile hall or the little sister is put with a family who will protect her and love her!!*
Not to side with first guy, (he very much brome laws himself) but what the second guy did sounds like literal robbery to me due demanding his money by threatening him...
I don't get this business of randomly grabbing complete strangers. It's hard to imagine anything more stupid and dangerous, not to mention obnoxious. I carry a concealed firearm everywhere I legally can, and plenty of other people carry guns, knives, tasers, pepper spray, etc. Not to mention you might just get a good, old fashioned ass kicking.
I’ve had 3 guys who just because I wasn’t rude to them figured that meant I wanted to date them. Two of them were stalking me at the same time. I had to get an unlisted number, pre cell phone days, and there was a period of time I literally hid in my basement until dark and creep upstairs thru my dark house to go to bed. One even showed up to my job and was shown to my office, travelled 5 hours to show up at my daughter’s job and pretended to be her father and later called my sister profess his undying love for me! The guy was older than my dad.
On the story about the older sister trying to get her little sister to steal for her, I hope the older sister is in jail, now she is taking orders from her cellmate, and the little sister is in a safe place.
Story 2: If it wasn’t obvious enough he was lying, the guy said she didn’t give him her number but then that she was his girlfriend. If that were true, he would have had the number beforehand.
Can you imagine leaving a child you're supposed to be taken care of at camp at a pool and the idiots at the camp don't believe you, I can hear someone say his shirt and underwear says his name is so and so
I always watch rSlash and Fluff. rSlash posts every day at 6 am, and fluff tends to post more in the afternoon, so I get one in the morning and one in the afternoon typically. They're the only 2 original people I can find who do this style of videos. I hate the robot voices etc on the others.
The last episode reminds me of a King of the Hill episode where Peggy kidnaps a child from Mexico because she cant speak the language, Peggy hill is a closet Karen.
If I was spun around like that I'd keep going with my elbow leading the way. She'd at least have bloody nose if not a concussion. Nobody grabs me like that. I'd be in the clear because she assaulted me first.
Story 2: I would have started asking the guy further questions, starting with what her name was. Not that it would have made much difference in the actions, but show the guy up for the creep he was.
Story 1: Karen is lucky that OP couldn't fight her way out of a bag as she said. My reaction to someone doing that to me is a swift broken nose. Jumpy people who know how to defend themselves... Just can't express how lucky that dumb lady XD Sad part is her daughter is going to grow up being just as stupid thanks to her mother. Story 4: I don't necessarily think that was the best reaction, but holy moly was it satisfying that he got what he deserved... some of these people really deserve to be dished exactly what they give. ...Kinda wish someone would have done that to the crazy lady in story 5.. XD
Some Karen grabbed me one like that in the first story. She went down with a broken nose and three missing teeth. Oh, that was in the state of Wyoming at a truck stop that I have only been there once in the past 10 years.
I have some kind of natural Karen-repellant. Body language? Facial expressions? I don't know. Regardless, whatever I endured to earn this immunity was probably worth it.
Story 2.... how dumb do you have to be to think that someone isn’t going to notice the extreme. Jump from “you forgot to give me your number” to “she’s my girlfriend”. Psycho behavior
Unbelievable! Even when I chaperoned high schoolers for competitions, trips or games, we had a list of everyone, did a roll call, and checked with each bus to make sure everyone was accounted for!!!!!
Hold up, there was no mention of mom in that stealing story. For all we know, mom has no clue what is going om and that the sisters are spending quality time together. If teenager hasnt been caught before, no reason to suspect shes up to something. And something small once in a while like a case of drinks isnt sus. Especially if she has a job. Just saying, dont bring the parents into it without having the full story. We can be vigilant as much as trust allows, and still be dooped by our kids. Especially if other kids are influencing them. Lets assume mom doesnt know and is now able to handle it having the information. Unless mom is involved, little girl wont be taken away. Depending on how old the teen is, and if there is anywhere else she can go, theyll make her leave. If no one will take her in, they might even commit her for a few nights while helping the family work out a plan, which includes not being allowed alone with LS, as well as extensive therapy. That is...if she isnt just about to turn 18. Or if shes not already. If she is, shes out of the house, and in jail until she makes bail.
@@Kelle0284 youre right....theyre also not being mentioned as the problem, so why is mom and not them? The point was simple: mom wasnt mentioned, we shouldnt assume she was involved and berate her. Just like we shouldnt assume grandma, dad, or uncle tom was there and immediately berate them. Or demonize, if you prefer.
The sister was immediately screaming and making a scene, and the kid was crying about being forced to do it consistently zero chance "vigilance" is at play here.
Story 5: I've worked in retail for years, and I knew EXACTLY where this was going as soon as the little sister started running. And yep, there go the threats of lawsuits from the older sister. And yes, most retail places DO have a no chase policy. You can't chase down shoplifters UNLESS you're AP/LP. And if OP DID work there, they might still have been fired even though OP didn't do anything wrong, just to avoid the bad publicity.
S5: That was hard to listen to. That poor girl getting abused by that awful bitch and forcing her to steal. Just hearing how that poor baby clings to the ASM while the screaming waste of oxygen is getting arrested. That’s horrible when you think of how her life is at home. I hope she is in a better home after this, but unfortunately the justice system really isn’t kind to child victims at times…
S1: She wanted a specific flavor of chips? If she's in the part of the store with the chips, and she can't find it, maybe it's not there...? S2: "Your girlfriend, huh? So why don't you ALREADY have her number?"
Story 6: I’ve arranged about 100 field trips (probably more - I’m old). Basic rules anyone who’s not an idiot learns after the first trip: 1. Know how many students, friends or family members are coming. Count them as they board the bus, vans or cars. Count again once they’re all seated, or get counts from each driver. 2. Buddy system - no single children wandering alone. Consequence: Anyone caught alone will spend the rest of the trip with a chaperone. 3. Pick a certain, easily identifiable spot a bit away from other groups so it’s easy to identify your group. 4. Count the people again, and specify the consequences of being late to the meeting point. 5. Each pair or group must stand in front of you, then repeat the meeting time and place before being allowed to leave. 5 digits on one hand, 5 rules for every trip. There may be additional rules specific to that trip (Disneyland, beach, etc.). Remind the kids of the consequences if they’re late (I grant 5 minutes grace period). For me, that means singing to the entire bus or sth else a little embarrassing (not too much) so they won’t be late again. Count as they board the bus, vans or cars, and COUNT AGAIN on the bus to be sure EVERYONE is accounted for before driving away. The last count is very important because kids board, then say they need to go to the bathroom, find a friend or sth else and scurry away. I dealt with many groups where political defections (e.g. the child meets a family friend and is whisked away) were a real possibility, usually in the hubbub at the end of a trip when people were naturally tired and less attentive, and ensured I was doing the best I reasonably could to avoid any international incidents. Edit: I know this was long, but I hope it will help at least one group leader.
To the girl protecting the 12 YO. You are NOT a coward. You protected that kid even though you were scared. That is the definition of courage. Being scared and still doing what needs to be done.
Agreed
Definitely respect for people that does that
Exactly! Cowards let their fear take control, Courage is taking control of your fear and doing what needs to be done!
This!❤
Absolutely. u/Polluxander (OP) took a significant risk by distracting the belligerent perp's attention from the child and onto herself.
This perp sounds like the kind of guy not even his mother would miss if he mysteriously disappeared.
"Never assault a person who's holding a weapon."
"Weapon? What weapon?"
"See this cup of scalding hot coffee?"
Oh yes.
Hot coffee in a cup can indeed be classified as a grenade when used right. So yes, it can be called a weapon.

@@larryspoonamore7812 haha I just watched a cops episode where a lady beaned another with a can of corn. So yeah, anything :D
The thing I'm worried about is him stalking the store to see her again and follow her home 😰😬
I'm a big fan of Cotton Top. He's the greatest.
@@forcewielder2000 at least u are with ur relative not in some random or out in the public area where u could be easily lost and kidnapped. XD
"I'm her boyfriend, and I DEMAND that she gives me her phone number!"

Probably just desperate when he realized that he was probably going to go back to prison
Count? I’d take a damned attendance!
Billy?
Sasha?
Nevaeh?
Connor?
Kung?
Jen?
Booker?
(Yes, I used names of my former students.)
We always did a head count before we even left for the pool, then once again on the way out. We knew all names and faces and we had 35-40 kids most days. No one was ever left behind.
@@amandalynn1173 Yes. Teachers or counselors always did a head count or roll call. When did that stop exactly?
@@RylosalexPerhaps when people started naming their kids Ryleigh or Elrond or Æ A-12.
Doesn't matter if someone doesn't listen or Is ignoring you DON"T TOUCH THEM!
Unless they're a psycho intent on screaming at a child 😬
Any one who grabs me by the shoulder and turns me around is catching a heymaker from the free arm that's free on the spin.
Story 4: Kudos!!!!! My hat is off to you!
Why do people think it's ok to grab someone? Lightly tap on the shoulder, folks. That's all that's needed.
As someone with HUGE issues with random people touching me I’d honestly just drop to the ground and start screaming like a banshee. I might look insane, but NO ONE should be touching me without my consent
Story 2: really, that’s your girlfriend? Then why did you have to ask for her number
My thought too.
6:15 Me: “I am not obligated to give you my number! I don’t give my number to random strangers.”
"But if I'm really your girlfriend, you already have my number!"
In almost any other situation, Story 4 sounds like something that might end in a robbery charge - for demanding his money via threat
Yeah, he kinda mugged someone.
In story 1: If Karen did to me, what she did to OP, Karen would be short that hand
I gave the manager the information from my phone and I assume he made a police report as the lady came back a week later and seemed to be doing well.
Did I miss something? Both you and Fluff mention the mom, but I didn't hear anything about the mom being mentioned in the story.
@@evelynhubbart6811 I'm just saying...even though the OP didn't say anything about the mom, yet I want to bet that the mom had something to do with it. Fluff and I could be wrong. The sister was said to be 17, legal age to drive.

Depending on how hard you get spun around that might not be your call to make.
4. I bet that guy won't try that crap again to anyone.
Good grief!
Last story: I once went missing on the subway during a school trip
I got to sit with the driver for the way back. Made my day more than the visit to the zoo..
It's a good thing Jared didn't find you.

*Oh hell no! If anyone EVER were to scream at my 12 years old son like that, it would have been his first and last time!*
*I don't give a damn if he was drunk or not! All the more reason why he should have been REKT!*
I've seen so many of these stories that if anyone grabs me by the shoulder and whips me around, they're in for a very painful day.
Story 3: You gotta do what you can in a situation like that. And it seems to me she did all of it and beyond. Kudos!
Story 2: Thinking about guys willing to act as bodyguards to any scared girl, faith in humanity has been restored
Story 1: " Who do you think *you* are, putting your hands in someone without consent? Touch me again and you'll draw back a stump! And if you even think about reprisal, or *lying your way out of this* , you've been on camera since you walked in. Back off, NOW."
Story three reminds me of a saying I was told when I was little:
True bravery is not the absence of fear, true bravery is doing the right thing despite being afraid and wanting to run away.
I absolute wondered why the coffee didn’t get “splashed” on her!
1st story. If anyone grabs my arm and spins me around, I don't care who they are, the first thing they are going to meet is my clenched fist to their jaw. Any further action against me will result in my going full Hulk mode.
The headphone story is the first time I ever sided with a mugger.
Why?? OP panicked and did what came to mind. The guy realized his mistake and gave him money.

Story 6: What was with the camp not doing a proper head count? While I was still in my single digits, we ALWAYS did a headcount before leaving.
"I MEAN IT!!"
I could see the boys smirking and stifling giggles as she angrily stalked toward me.
You should have decked her one.
I shouldn't be allowed to be a sister. Too bad nobody told my parents this.
Tell em Fluff, keep your hands off of people no matter if they work somewhere or not keep your hands off of people out of anger and entitlement and without permission this dude almost got choked out because he thought he'd just snatch the ear buds out without any consequences 💯💯💯 No one is superior, we are all the same👁💯💯🤎🖤🤎🖤✌🏼✌🏼
Story 5 had me in stitches. How does it feel like being up for the felony of the day award😂😂😂
That last bit. Hopefully the kid knows his home phone number and they could have called them letting them know the camp left their child behind. PSA: Parents make sure your children know their address and your phone number.
These days many adults don't know their own phone number.
🤬🤬💩🤬🤬
*Story 5 has me RAGING so bad!*
*The first thing I want to know is.. Where in hell is the damn PARENTS?!?*
*Why is a seventeen years old FORCING the little girl to steal?! And yes Fluff, I pray CPS gets involved and either the older sister is put in juvenile hall or the little sister is put with a family who will protect her and love her!!*
The parents probably have jobs.
How did so many people get promoted from kindergarten without learning to keep their hands to themselves???
Dark Fluff: My 1st thought was spilling the coffee on the witch!
You would think they would have a headcount and a name list when they go places with children this is frightening
Story 4: That was fantastic. Well done.
Story 4 is straight up extortion and threatning with violence.
Yep! A mugging in broad daylight in a store.
Which was warranted. He started the fight, OP just finished it.
@@LunaP1I agree. Why do people side with the other guy? smh
Not to side with first guy, (he very much brome laws himself) but what the second guy did sounds like literal robbery to me due demanding his money by threatening him...
@@LunaP1 yes sir I would had done the same thing
I don’t blame the guy in the fourth story. I would be pretty angry if someone broke my headphones especially since they don’t sell them anymore!
She probably got a slap on the wrist and probably tormented her sister for ratting her out.
The Mega Felisha making her little sister loot for her.
That last story reminded me of that one episode of King of the Hill, where Peggy accidently kidnapped a little girl from Mexico.
Oh god, I remember that episode and it made me cringe at how bad Peggy was at Spanish.😅
Story 2: If it wasn’t obvious enough he was lying, the guy said she didn’t give him her number but then that she was his girlfriend. If that were true, he would have had the number beforehand.
Story 4 (headphones): I hope I'd be smarter/calmer than Opie, but _d@mn,_ that was satisfying ... even though it caused no serious damage.
Can you imagine leaving a child you're supposed to be taken care of at camp at a pool and the idiots at the camp don't believe you, I can hear someone say his shirt and underwear says his name is so and so
The first person pretty much threw the real employees under the bus.
When fluff uploads it is an amazing day!
Yes
13:08 All people like them have to do to get someone’s attention is a tap on the shoulder. But, nooooooo! They rip the OP’s headphones off.
Thank you stevo and fluffy ❤
Story 2: OMG, OP, you are a hero!
She will probably fit right in. The average Wyomingite is missing at least three teeth.
I have some kind of natural Karen-repellant. Body language? Facial expressions? I don't know. Regardless, whatever I endured to earn this immunity was probably worth it.
I'm a garlic eater. It wards off Karens... ...and just about everyone else.
Story 2.... how dumb do you have to be to think that someone isn’t going to notice the extreme. Jump from “you forgot to give me your number” to “she’s my girlfriend”. Psycho behavior
"She's my girlfriend. She just doesn't realize it yet!"
Story 2, if dude was her boyfriend, wouldn't he ALREADY HAVE her number?!?
Yay, Fluff video!
There was also no mention of a dad, a grandma or an Uncle Charlie.
That would have to be a severely neglectful mother.
This is my favorite story so far
I would have asked for the manager and then the police for assault
7:54 that’s not just scary that is “horror movie psychopath” levels of scary
Yay a new video. I miss the days where there is no upload by fluff.
