    The whole process is pretty simple. Having the rear wheel stand makes this project so much easier. Replacing the back tire would be almost impossible without it.

    Nice, practical video, thank you. In the description and related link, it says that the socket size is 46mm. However, in a previous response you said that it is 44mm. Which one is the correct size?
    Thanks again,

    I know this video is old but he is using a 12 pointed socket on a six pointed bolt. That is why that bold looks so damaged at the points if you look closely. The correct socket is 46mm 6 point. Not 12. The 12 point sockets for the larger Ducatis like the Panigale use a 12 pointed socket and is 51mm I believe.

    Does the rear nut have to be torqued to a spec?

    • @FtBennyJ
      @FtBennyJ 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      176 Nm for the right side nut and 156 Nm for the left side.
      Its quite common that you'll need to replace these parts because there has been dirt in and too much torque in installation

    What size of socket you are using? Metric or Standard?

    • @JerryRigEverything
      @JerryRigEverything  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a 44mm socket. I put a link for the parts in the video description.

      It's European so all the nuts and bolts are M- standard. That means that you'll need tools that are in millimeters, not inches. Please do not tighten up any bolt if you don't know the tightness, lubricants and possible lockers etc. It is really common that bikes are broken because of improper installation.
