Next time I was cutting more garlic I was doing it with some friends, I told them that there was some bad garlic and I had to throw it out, well one of those bitches decided to complain to the supervisor that I was wasting garlic and was being irresponsible with it. I quickly explained that I threw out the bad ones and she explained to me that I was supposed to put those in a separate bin and measure the wastage of the weight . I swear some people would rat you out without a doubt and I know who did it .

So I got belittled for being nice to a boss trying to quietly scope out a store once.
I was working at a ...large liquor store chain around Houston.. nearly a decade ago. The owners, who I had never met, came in quietly to shop. I walked over, helped the man, was as nice as I was to the other customers, and helped select cigars and a good scotch, I had no idea who he was...
After he told the store manager how nice, polite and helpful I had been, then left.... she called me in the back and botched me out for "wasting time" with a customer.
Sad part is, I believe she's one of their regional managers now. I'd love to see all the nasty and sexist BS she was allowed to pull bite her some day...

I worked in service jobs for 25 years. Every day, there's something to complain about. But knowing when to do it and who to do it with are key. A co-worker you've known for a while? Sure; they're in the same boat. Someone new that you're supposed to be training? No. That only drags the business down. I developed an automatic smile when interacting with customers and a slightly sharp wit to defuse tense situations. I've even had customers ask me if I'm always that cheerful, and I just thought I was doing my regular job. The level of snark and vitriol some of the employees in this video demonstrate indicates they're not cut out for the job they were hired to do.

When I was a pizza delivery guy, people would invite me in to smoke too. I was just never stupid enough to say anything about it to the people at the job. I'd save that story for my friends.
"Dude! I had a sweet delivery last night! The guy smoked me up for a tip!"

That poor PIZZA GUY that got fired for smoking pot in a "DOMINO'S uniform". Every pizza guy ever smokes/smoked weed. She said it like an officer got caught smoking in uniform

The crazy thing is my girlfriends best friend was on the show, and she said it was SUPER obvious that they were on undercoverboss. These people are this bad when the ceo and cameras are there, imagine what happens when they aren't

Alot of these employers forget what it's like to work, they get paid to be in their office or take a phone call, the employees deal with the stress of a customer, in business customers are not always right. You as an employee or employer are right it's your life with that job customers come and go, good employees are hard to come by

To be fair I don’t expect much professionalism from fast food places or bikini bars especially from someone who makes less than 40K a year

You ask almost any working these days and you could probably set the same reaction. Maybe not to that extent. But with the way companies are being ran today, I can see it.

When she accepted the offer of employment, the requirements are listed. One of which is a dress code. Fail to follow dress code or any other company policies? Termination. If she tried to fight her termination in court, she would have got laughed out of there.

Actually in most states you can fire someone for anything. It's called "at will" employment.

@Cline3911 but they hired her knowing she wasn't willing to take her top off or was she not willing while cameras were rolling and I'm guessing being filmed while in a bikini wasn't in the contract

    • @Cline3911
      @Cline3911 ปีที่แล้ว

@@xxsniperkittykatxx irrelevant. If she signed a contract stipulating a certain kind of dress, and she doesn't do it, she's in breach of contract, ergo legal termination. Simple as that. She has no legal leg to stand on.

I gotta say I 100% agree with the pizza owner letting go of the driver. Pot should be legal but driving impaired is reckless and should be treated the same regardless of which drug impairs you.

The lesson isn't, "be careful who you rant to." The lesson is be a better person/employee. Life is short. If you're not happy with your work, you have a JOB. If you can't wait to get to work, you have a CAREER. Find your path.
