I love how the last boss didn’t try to give him money he’s literally trying to give him extra years on his life

Marci was amazing with the employees, that woman deserved a huge raise for how she handles her restaurant

It’s crazy that bosses seem so shocked by the state of their employees lives, especially when it comes to employees who have or had health issues that deeply affect the quality of life when a company doesn’t offer health insurance or PTO. They seem so removed from their own businesses and the people who work for them, especially in the corporate world. I imagine many of the people who are on undercover boss are minimum wage employees or close to that who are struggling to make ends meet, even if they’re in manager positions. It’s lovely to see them get the recognition they deserve but I hope it makes these bosses really think about how they treat all their employees and how important the people are to the actual operation of the business. Many of these people love their jobs, but are clearly under a lot of stress from how little they’re being paid and the lack of benefits that come with their job, especially if they’re full-time employees.

after i got my own truck(90day training) i was given 95% jobs from downtown to raytown to overland park, i met alot of interesting ppl...
1 job i went to i swear to god it was like gang banger street i circle around several times to check it out. i pulled up and rap was inside and thought to myself im gonna get killed i knocked on the door and sum of the meanest looking dudes opened the door was hanging around smoking.
the dude showed me the problem and i told him the price.

i showed him the price list bc...
    just bc...
he said they wouldnt have any money till l8r and it really sucked bc it was there main line.
after many attempts to get the price down through coupons and discounts i thought welp im gonna die....
next thing i know all 4 were in the room.
they were cussing and throw a fit about how baby mamma this and that...
and next thing i know i made a deal with them.
dont tell roto rooter but .
seeing how i couldof been jack, murdered, robbed, killedand end up missing i used my street smarts and struck a deal...
come back after hrs, a big phat sack for me and u get yr sh!t cleared...
needless to say i got to hang in the hood
the biggest koint was shoved in my face i felt like the hero for a day...

Reminds me of two instances when I went on vacation to Magic Hotel Manar in Hammamet Tunisia as a kid. There was this lifeguard called Momo that was amazing at his job, made everyone smile, would shout "tomato tomato, momo" and kept everyone safe. The other when I vacationed to a resort in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and had a concierge named Felix that truly went above and beyond to make sure every need and want was met.
The employees that really care and pay careful attention are always the employees that stand out the most. We actually loved Momo so much and he made such a positive impression that we went back to the same resort a year or two later which we otherwise wouldn't have done (this was a few weeks before the terrorist attack in another resort in Tunisia about an hour away from where we had stayed, we actually had no idea there were terrorist cells in that city and got extremely lucky that we didn't run into any issues.)

well, i live in Austria and we do have 25 days vacation per year. its written in the contract and guaranteed by law. it does not matter if you work 40h/week or less and it is paid vacation. If you are on sick leave it is paid as well and the employer does have a very hard time do kick you from the job for being sick. You do have an injurance just because you do have a work, if not you have an injurance as well and can go to a doctor as you like, for free (at least most of them). in addition to that you also get 14 payments a year, 2 in june and 2 in december.
...there is no difference if you are white/black/rich/poor/old/young/healty/sickly/workless/with a good or bad graduation > it DOES NOT MATTER! :) if you are doing it well you do have an injurence ot you are just stupid. overall thats it, but still.....it is an expansive system, but it is working so far.
for the americans out there, i wish that there will be a change in your system.

I wish that people from a country that has nearly the population equivalent to the same amount of people in Manhattan on any given day and produce about the same GDP as our smallest states would understand how implausible their suggestions are to a federal based system in the United States.

@@UpTheChels10 still you do guarantee our security by law :) respect our country as we do respect yours!
however, it doesn't matter how many people we are...

In some Western countries the term 'hooters' is a sexual one. It should not be used for restaurant. Also young women being 'outfitted'in shorts as it allows bullying male bosses to mistreat women employees.

I am not even 30 seconds into this video, and I already had to take a second to address some thing. Most people do not think women are less efficient than men. There are rare exceptions, but as a general rule, most men do not think like that about women. Women approve time and time again that they can work and work just as hard. They do choose different fields and then do. And there are differences in men and women and how they work and what they do. But the bottom line is that doesn’t change the fact that women work just as hard and are just as efficient as men. And I find it quite offensive that you would even put that in there. you could state that the owner thought that. But you put that out there as a general statement leaving the impression that most men think that about women. That’s just wrong.

If you’re going to stop people drinking more if they’re drunk, don’t sell alcohol ffs

    • @mimicmusic85
      @mimicmusic85 ปีที่แล้ว

The reason they cut people off is to prevent alot of things from an aggressive drunk patron to alcohol poisoning.
Side thing, it is also illegal to serve a patron who is 'intoxicated'. Not just alcohol but substances wise, for public safety
