Honestly I cried a little when I first found out this game was localized. I've been a huge fan since the first one came out and have been a huge supporter since. I am so happy to see Yokai Watch continue!
Same it made my entire year a bit brighter knowing it was comming. No other game gives me the same feelings as playing this series.

Story is easier to digest than Kingdom Hearts.
KH makes more sense than the DC Cinematic Universe at least

@@Andrei3253 It's only longer than the MCU 40-hour length if you're really bad at video games, otherwise you can finish KH1 in 20-hours, 10 if you're really good.
Hands down, the best game in the series so far! You'll love the new story and all sorts of new Yo-kai to befriend! Don't forget about Blaster T online multiplayer as well! GET. THIS. GAME.👊

Thank you so much, Nintendo. I’ve been thoroughly confused by the complex lore of this franchise for years. Now I can play Yo-Kai Watch 3, knowing that I’m all caught up with the well-written, overarching narrative.

To anyone saying that this is a Pokémon ripoff it’s not even close to Pokémon well yea you collect monster but beside the point there are totally different story lines so much to explore and a ton of Easter eggs. I can go on about how different these games are but I’m going to let you think about that one
Level-5 needs to start considering a simultaneous worldwide release for the Yo-Kai Watch franchise. Especially with Yo-Kai Watch 4 on Nintendo Switch. They also need to market/advertise the series better. Waiting a few months or a year for other regions to get a game is a bad move for Level-5. Although, I think we are all curious to see how well Yo-Kai Watch 4 could do since they made some changes to the series battle system.

I remember being so happy when I saw this trailer. Yo-Kai Watch made the latter half of my childhood, so when I finally finished YK3, my childhood was complete.
Glad to see Nintendo talking more about Yo-Kai Watch than the first or second one, because to be honest I don’t feel there was much effort put into advertising the first (despite the toys and such, but that failed) or second game. Yo-Kai Watch 3 is definitely better than the last 2 (not including blasters) so I hope to see more Yo-Kai Watch talk from you guys, as well as from Level-5.
Maybe because of competition with Pokémon. Not gonna lie, I don't watch the Yo-kai anime but it's dialogue is much less puke worthy than the Pokémon anime's. And its actually advertised better.

Well, the first game had decent advertising. Not much, but enough that a kid would say "hey, that seems kinda cool." Yokai watch 2 barely had any advertising, which is why I didn't even know the game came out when it did. I just kinda lucked out when going to GameStop. Hopefully they try to advertise it more again.
Just a Mimikip I had one ad twice for yo Kai Watch 3. Nothing else, not even at the direct.

Yo-kai watch has still held up since 2013, as valid contender to Pokémon, and even does many things better than it. Pokémon will always be my favorite game series, because I grew up with it, and appreciate it more as I get older. But I honestly think Yo-Kai watch is a better game. It just needs a lot more respect here in the west.
@@mystixgemzvods i prefer digimon Anime 10 times more than the Pokémon anime, but i like pokemon better as a franchise. The digimon animes story is very good

Honestly same. Pokemon will always be my favorite game of all time, but the Yo-kai watch series is really fun and an interesting concept. The game play is well made and characters are interesting.

Pure nostalgia. Played every game in the series and loved EVERY second of it. My personal favourite console and game of all time is the 3ds XL with Yo Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits! (Let me know your favourite console and game down below too!) TAKE NOTES FOR GENERATION 8 POKEMON, GAMEFREAK!!!

Oh hey, it’s that game people tried to convince me could compete with Pokémon outside of Japan. Glad to see for the people who buy them they are still translating it
Its a real shame how unappreciated the Yo-kai Watch franchise is outside of its native Japan, because despite reliance on Japanese folklore and mythology, the games really have a great story, and the gameplay is quite unique. In some aspects, the franchise as a whole is a lot more innovative than Pokémon (and I say this as a Pokémon fan myself). Nintendo did a fantastic job with the launch of the first game, but Disney butchered the US debut of the TV show by airing it on Disney XD, and Hasbro did a poor job of advertising the toys. That's why Yo-kai Watch failed in North America.

@@ItsGalex Well, that's good. I'm mainly talking about North America. I don't really think there was anything Nintendo of America could really do to save it here. Of course, there was the fact that Hasbro and Disney both completely botched the respective launches of the toy line and anime as well as how it's a bit too steeped in Japanese culture to be accessible to mainstream audiences in the US. But, I think the biggest nail in the coffin was Pokémon Go really being pushed for iPhones.

so the fact that we finally get this game how long to we get yo-kai watch 4 considering how far behind we are in the series and how long it took for us to get this or will we even get Yo-kai watch 4 considering the only reason we managed to even get this games after being localized is due to the fact that the Nintendo 3DS is a Brand (sense how many remakes of it) at this point instead of a simple console which has a limited lifespand of people caring about due to age
