Kiyoshix There’s a lot more to do than pokemon. While the core game is weaker, it has an excellent post game.

Mark Grayson There is extra content and it’s basically Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls combined since you can Choose your team so you can have both games on one game because you make other characters for the opposite team! Also there is more in the Blasters game mode and that game mode is really really fun!

I’m looking at this comment section and sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the world who likes both Yo-Kai Watch and Pokémon (being super honest though, If I had to choose between the two I would definitely choose Pokémon because I grew up playing it but Yo-Kai Watch is still a very nice take on the genre)

Can't wait for pokemon fans to comment on how this is an unique take on the genre, and how they like their franchise to have a little competition in order to make the genre varied and to help it move forward, so it doesn't get stale and prevent them from having new games that add nothing of substance a mere year later the latest release... oh wait, I forgot pokemon fans are stupid.
I wish they had some serious competition though (Nothing too serious though) so they would put a lot more effort in developing their games. I've felt that pokemon games have been lacking in terms of content, I feel it's because Game Freak has no real competition, so their games will sell tons of copies despite adding less and less features each game... I still love the games, but I feel something is missing.

I've never been a fan of Yokai Watch but I'll try this one out.
Tyler Moffitt I'd recommend it hardly it's a million times better than the first one and it's around 3 when Yokai wacth becomes even more amazing tbh.

Oozette, Busters does in fact have online if you didn't know. Plus, you can also have AI controlled teammates if needed.

Why couldn't Pokemon get this level of detail in their games? This game has so many items in each area and supports 3d!

Agreed, but it also has a much bigger budget and they don't really innovate much with each iteration, gameplay wise. Heck the game doesn't even look or work better with the New 3DS, and the 3D mode either lags or is disabled most of the time.

Bluespheal No, he's right. For example, in the American adaptation of the anime there was a scene where it zooms out and they were on a U.S. map. I don't know why they had to change it with all those Japanese references.

This game looks okay. The first two Yo Kai Watch 2 games were fine, but suffered from a lack of content until you got to a certain point. Like, 6 or so hours of filler to get new players caught up before you got to the meat of the game. Is this game any different? Might get it if I have enough spare cash

I like Yo-Kai Watch. I enjoyed the first game a lot, but after beating the story in Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls, I'm burned out on it. It sucks because I'd love to play the definitive version.
