This is not camping, this is back-country survival. Real camping: You bring your own water proof shelter, a decent cooking stove and set up in a designated area. This is roughing it and having a good time while doing it.
I like that you don't spend half an hour boasting about all the fancy expensive stuff you bought online. I like what you said in a previous video about using your dad's old North Face sleeping bag!
I really like your style. Really efficient. I did US forest service trail work for the summers between college years and one guy i worked with would only make shelters like you did there. A cheap tarp pitched not with ropes but long branches like you did along with heavy rocks and sticks fashioned into stakes. Thank you for all your work. Take care. NQU
Im planning a " bushcraft" style camp trip similar to this and i love how you used the rock and tree to create the shelter. the way it reflects the heat from the fire back into your shelter is perfect! I always bring some sausage and a small can of beans
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing this informative and entertaining video. You always do a great job. The Sweedish torch is a great idea. Stay safe out there. 😊
Videos like this make me feel silly for watching or prioritizing reality tv / beauty tutorials / fashion / Netflix / hair etc over content like this that could actually be helpful in emergency type situations.... nothing wrong with watching those shows but make sure to also know basic life skills 👌🏼 Great video thanks
Really enjoy youe informative videoa. Would love to see show how you get to and from these camoing spots, i.e. the navigating...(how you do not get lost)
I'm an omnivore but I intentionally bring quinoa with me in my camping food... doesn't take any longer to cook than rice, but has so much more fiber and protein!
This way people destroyed megalithic monuments in the Netherlands. These monuments are called 'hunebedden'. They are from the Neolithic, the farmers came from Anatolia.
So if the planet ends. I would grabe 3 tarps. A sleeping bag, shovel, axe, and cut a hoe handle short, i like your water bottle cotton bottle trick. Ill take note. A knife gun and machete is a must. Now my only issue is why did you not rake oht the snow? Soil holds heat better. Over night that soil is better then the snow under a tarp.
Hey man! I saw that rock and I said to myself that looks like where I hunt for white tail, and snowshoe hare, then after reading your bio in the story I noticed your in northern Pennsylvania and that’s where my hunting camp is! Right in Kane, Pennsylvania. Are you in the Allegheny forest in this video?
What part of Appalachian Mnts? I was in south central PA . Lived in a valley in between the Appalachian and Blue ridge Mnts. I hope I can move back soon...great videos!!
Im curious about your tarp. Id be worried it would melt from the fire? Ik its light wt but would canvas be less flammable? Safety first luv ur videos thankyou!
I really LIKE your channel!...we the twins camp allot and find that you eat the same Cheddar H Dogs! ...We eat them every time out in the woods. So is Pine Tea safe to drink?? Let me know please.... and Dandy Lyin Tea is from the Roots...I've always made it from...tell me your thoughts. Twins out.
How you liking that TSC groundwork hatchet/axe? I've seen it go for like $20 on the bargain bin and every time I see it I pause for a moment because how similar it looks to a Fiskars X10.
Would Douglas fir or evergreen work like hemlock to start a fire? I currently live in eastern WA St. but I'm from Western Washington in the foothills of the Cascades. The Snoqualmie Falls WA area. I grew up in the forest with 15,000 acres of old growth natural forest.
Please make more of these long form videos. They teach me a lot about camping.
meee toooooo

I'd get a fire going and then start on a shelter
@@runswithwolf7498 Depends a lot on the weather. But yes.
11 minutes and change isn’t enough!

Someone else commented they liked your style, I have to say, I do also. Simple and efficient, you make it look easy. Thank You for the video.
You had me watching the moment you spoke and let your audience know what’s going on your plans etc as if we are right there.. not a silent movie 👍
Im planning a " bushcraft" style camp trip similar to this and i love how you used the rock and tree to create the shelter. the way it reflects the heat from the fire back into your shelter is perfect! I always bring some sausage and a small can of beans

Bacon and coffee you can’t beat it. It’s the simple things. And those two together are the best morning meal imo

This looks so like so much fun
На пол укрытия уложить лапник 15÷20 см, перед входом устроить надью и можно ночевать!
Subscribed!!!! Great videos!
The vibe... I just love that
More good tips and a realistic sense of a winter camp in your region'
Thanks for sharing us those useful information ❤
Great stuff, learned a couple things
Awesome stuff. Just subscribed to your channel

Me encantó tu vídeo amigo, saludos desde Argentina...👽
So cool
Great video! I enjoy the 'shorts' videos too, I think bacon should be considered a camp essential.
Thanks for verbalizing and nariting
PLEASE POST MORE
Maaan I love your videos
The earth needs more men like you. Judy there
great video!!
Great videos. very nicely done.

Dope man.

saw you cookin a cheddar dog, so i went down and made a dog of my own. nice vid!
I love jalapenos cheese dog's ❤
Rule of thumb, when you think you have enough firewood your wrong.
What fun!
nice work ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Sir, please cook your bacon longer
9:51 bacon begins... my favorite part. Being outdoors you won't be craving oatmilk and quinoa. You will require stronger energy-food.
I'm an omnivore but I intentionally bring quinoa with me in my camping food... doesn't take any longer to cook than rice, but has so much more fiber and protein!
Found you on tik tok now I'm here.. 😊
Awesome! thanks for the support
@@WoodsboundOutdoors you're welcome.. would you be interested in collaborating and maybe doing an interview with us?

Raally enjoyed this. Wondering how far away your car is ;) I mean, a cast iron skillet weighs just short of a ton!

Hey friend! Aren't you afraid of bears getting close at night?
Just black bears here and they usually keep their distance, they've never bothered me
There's Facebook accounts stealing all of your content.
Im not the video maker or anything but dude you should report them all whenever you see them
It’s also bringing in new subscribers. Great channel
Yes awesome 😅

Can you make a video on how you pack?
If you're carrying cast iron you're carrying a lot of weight what other weighted things do you have
Outside of that good video

😂😂that thumb bend got some 5g
Is there any danger the rock could explode from the heat due to weather conditions and fire size?
i really badly want to do something like this. have some gear go out camping
Did you encounter any grizzly bears during your camping?
What is the knife using in this vidéo 😮 ?
Ka Bar Mark I .. I love it
Question: where is it legal to camp?
Tractor Supply saw??
