Before I was disabled, I LOVED camping and being outdoorsy. But my family didn't. By the time I was old enough to do the stuff on my own, my condition had already worsened beyond being able to do the things I loved. So I missed out. I guess getting to see things like this help me to live vicariously, and learn about all the things I would have done had my life been different.
I hope you find a friend one day that can help you get back out there. Support makes things a lot easier even if you’re not able to do much sometimes just being there is good enough.
Got to say, it's a treat to have longer content from you. Don't burn out though, if short stuff is your comfort zone, you having fun making stuff is as important as us enjoying it.
I enjoy doing both, for whatever reason the shorts took off so that's what I stuck with for a while. Now I have a little more time to work on both. I appreciate the support and I'm glad you enjoy the videos 👍
These tips are so smart! I'm by no means a primitive camper, but I've gotten such useful tips from your videos that have helped me take less when I go camping. Thank you!
Love your videos-long and short! I showed one with a certain knot to my husband and he said he wished he knew how to make that knot, so I emailed your video to him, and now we watch your videos together 😊
That’s a really good idea to have beaten eggs in a plastic bottle rather than trying to carry whole eggs as they may crack in transit. I wrap the sausages in silver foil first and then put them in the fire to cook rather than having it on the stick. Great video thanks 😊
I realize I will never be able to remember this video when I’m in a survival situations so it’s on me to practice these principles several times now to turn these tips into a working memory for future use.
@@WoodsboundOutdoors Luke with The Outdoor Boys channel does winter survival camping. I love those videos. You'll get a ton of subs if you do survival camping videos like that. PS: Just subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more.
Watching your videos really made me gain a huge interest in bush craft and camping in general and I’ll definitely try some of these tips when the warmer camping season arrives
I have no doubt that your technique will work. Could not help but think how some use oven bags in solar cookers to keep the heat in. The basic principles of solar cooking and your survival camping tent are very similar. Bravo for putting it into action. The video is great!
This is the third video for me, all were in the cold North. I'm in SE Georgia so there won't be any cold camping here. Enjoyable content and very informative. Thanks
Nice! I got myself in difficult situations, where there was no wood, and if it was a little, could not use any fire. Beginning of the spring in Caucasus, as a passing immigrant. Few nights at 1900 meters above sea level, beside an internal sea, so to speak, with no tent, in rain, strong wind, a bit of snow, in the open. Am still remembering that, and watching your experience, somewhat warms me up.
🎉❤😮 wow 0:41 Amazing thanks 4 the share 4:19 brings back memories as I hadn't witnessed this type experience since old camping days. 10:57 Best to you - Stay safe on the excursions.
I’m going to white pine in February for six days with two friends and a dog. We’re gonna go on a few hikes and maybe ice fishing if the winter ever actually happens in Utah
Super cool video, I've used a lot of lean too's like that.....I lived in the wilderness for 20 years living off the land, without electric power, saw very few people. Planning to go back when things go down.
New subscriber here from ny.retired EMS provider advid camper ..great camp vid.nice fire sounds. That to me is what makes a great video. Natural sounds.if possible do longer and maybe a 2 nighter.Dollar store under 20 dollar total .b safe.peace
Please continue making content. You do an awesome job. Question...when you stay in PA, are there specific spots to avoid? Or specific spots to go to? Like state parks?...etc
Thank you and will do.. I usually camp in the national forest or state forest. Most of it is open to camping, with the exception of a few designated wild areas and natural areas
Great video. Just a tip: don't use too many jump cuts in your videos. Slow down the pace, especially during relaxing moments such as when you're standing by the fire or when you were enjoying your meal.
I have two of those space blankets.. I am thinking about getting a couple of more.. I just subscribed to you as well.. unfortunately being homeless is on the back burner for me again.. I have been that way more times than I can count.. the only thing I'm worried about is I'm going to be 58 pretty soon here.. the older you get the harder it will be on you.. I have been watching quite a few camping videos lately bushcrafting videos.. no I do have some experience I'm no master at it.. it's good enough to get by with

Love your tutorials/videos. Keep them reeling in !!!!
I'm really enjoying these camping videos. My major weakness is knot craft, and I'm glad you have been showing the different knots to use. Great video.

Hello from South Africa. Love your videos man. The plastic so close to the fire seems dangerous.
This is good shelter i first saw it on duel survival cody built it season 1 or 2 with dave in winter.
Great in a pinch

And I stay away from state parks for the most part, they have stricter rules when it comes to camping vs state forest
Man! You need to write a outdoors survival guide
The trees are dive bombing you😂😂.. great video nice to know if you ever got lost in the woods..
More long video, more fun

With your snow rocket stove, all you need to do, or rather TRY this: Line the center upright tube with WET wood sticks, or wet bark
Once u short on time before nightfall what u recommend best: make shelter or build a fire with firewood supply enough for 6-8 hrs?
